My Lovely Cousin's

My Lovely Cousin's
Chapter 51: Two Events

The funeral was over that morning. Tahira, Saga, Ran, her parents and Zara crouch on the side of Yumna's aunt's grave. Tahira since yesterday incessantly sobbed while hugging the body of the brother. She seemed to not care about Ran who had become her husband because she had no intention of being a part of the man's life. And strangely both Ran's parents did not put any suspicion on their attitude at all.

With his body weak, Tahira tried to rise assisted by Saga. They decided to leave the tomb and return home to rest.

"Go home first with your Mom and Dad, I'll take Rara somewhere to calm down" Saga told Ran.

"Alright." answered Ran then took his parents home.

Meanwhile, Zara, from then on the girl just stood staring at Saga and Ran who spoke to each other until Ran's departure with his parents from before him. Zara's heart ached because Ran no longer paid attention to her. After Ran and his parents left Saga and Tahira left Zara who was still staring blankly ahead. As her tears flowed without excuse, she felt unable to step on her feet.

'Why do they all seem to not care about my existence, especially Brother Ran. Why does this situation make me so fragile and worse, I have no one to pour out all my grief. Am I really alone?' ask Zara in your heart.

Zara tried to strengthen her heart, pain indeed. But he had to keep getting up so as not to continue to linger in grief because he realized there was no longer anyone who would lend a shoulder for him to lean on and pour out all his sadness. Zara wiped away the tears that had soaked her cheeks. He left the aunt's grave.

When he reached the residence of Aunt Yumna, he stepped towards his room with an intention. He noticed the state of the house was so quiet, there was no one apparently. Maybe Ran and his parents were resting so Zara took advantage of the situation. He wrote a letter and put it on the nightstand. Then packed up all his things, and planned to return to the city that afternoon as well.

"Everything.. I'm sorry, I can't stand being among you. It's too painful and heavy for me. Because I'm not Tahira who has Saga as an older sister and has Ran as a husband. I'm Zara, the sad little girl. I said goodbye." he muttered and then stepped out of the house without anyone knowing.

Time went around so fast that the afternoon came. Saga and Tahira stepped inside their home with Tahira already slightly improving. The girl was no longer sad. While in the living room Ran and his parents were sitting relaxed.

"Where have you been, why not rest first?" ask Uncle Akira, Ran's father.

"I'm sorry uncle, I brought Tahira to meet my father in the village next door" replied Saga, bowing her head for a moment.

"How's your father doing? Why didn't he come to your mother's funeral?" uncle Akira's face looked very serious.

"Dad can't get up anymore uncle." replied Saga bitterly.

Saga's mother and father had long since separated, they decided to divorce after Tahira was present by their side. And Saga's father decided to live in the village next door.

"Then you rest." asked Uncle Akira.

Finally they moved from the living room to their own rooms. Ran's mother asked permission to go to the kitchen for a while.

"Otoosan knows that you don't love Tahira. Are you going to divorce Tahira?" uncle Akira looked at his son.

Ran had not replied until Akira's uncle spoke again.

"Since you've officially become husband and wife, not once has Otoosan seen you touch her. Even if you let Saga take care of her, it proves that you don't love Tahira, right?"

"Yes Otoosan. Ii'm sorry. Maybe you'll be disappointed but.." Ran's words stopped.

"Because of Zara, right?" uncle Akira raised his eyebrows while smiling. I don't know what that smile means.

Ran lowered. "I still remember my promise to Uncle Albar. I have to look after Zara."

"Then why did you accept Yumna's request to marry Tahira?"

"It's a different post-mortem, I didn't get a choice so I accepted aunt's request." Ran is still down.

Before long Ran's mother returned from the kitchen with a teapot filled with warm tea and a few empty cups. The sound of knocking on the door, they compactly turned towards the door. Then Ran stood up to see who was visiting. Ran opened the door revealing three people of different ages. It might be more suitable if it was referred to as a small family, since there was a young man as well as a middle-aged woman and man. Waitaminute! Ran was like knowing the young man, he looked like a friend of Zara who had been involved in abuse cases with Zara.

"Can anyone help?" asked Ran who had turned his eyes to the middle-aged man next to the young man.

"We want to meet Yumna" said the middle-aged man.

Ran was aghast for a moment then let them in. Both of Ran's parents who saw them instantly stood up then asked who they were.

"They're looking for an aunt." Ran replied in Japanese.

"Please sit down first." take Ran to the three people.

They sat down and immediately Ran walked towards Saga's room.

"There's a guest, they're looking for an aunt. Maybe they don't know if aunt's dead. Guest them, it seems important." said Ran after Saga opened her room door.

They immediately stepped into the living room. After arriving Saga immediately greeted them then sat on the sofa opposite.

"What's looking for my mom?" ask Saga politely.

"Ah Adijaya? Sorry uncle before, but just got my mom buried this morning." Saga was a little stunned and instantly understood. It turns out this is the Adijaya family that his mother meant.

"Huh, really? We are sorry." said Adijaya who showed a sad look.

"Thank you uncle. Mom put something in for you. For a moment, I'll get it in the room." said Saga then passed.

After taking the letter Saga immediately gave it to the middle-aged man named Adijaya. Mr. Adijaya opened it and read the contents of the letter.

Meanwhile, Ran continued to look at the young man who came with Pak Adijaya. His guess was unmistakable if the young man before him was Raka, the man who had once harassed Zara.

'It's not wrong anymore, he's Raka Adijaya the fucker! But what is their business with the aunt's family?' ask in the heart.

Mr. Adihaya seemed to have finished reading the letter and then displayed a happy smile.

"We found it." muttered Mr. Adijaya while stroking his wife's hair slowly.

Saga, Ran and both of Ran's parents looked at them full of question marks. Then Saga ventured to make a sound.

"Sorry uncle, what did my mother say?" ask Saga.

"Before we thank the big family of Yumna for taking good care of Tahira" said Mr. Adijaya.

Everyone was confused, Saga looked at Ran and Uncle Akira looking at his wife.

"I mean uncle?" Saga cringing.

"Tahira, she is our daughter and also the twin sister of Raka" replied Pak Adijaya's wife while holding Raka's shoulder briefly.

"What?" Saga seemed to not believe what she heard, her heart instantly pounding. Is Tahira really not his sister?

Then Mr. Adijaya recounted all the events in the past, their family was so close. At that time Raka's mother and Yumna's aunt will both give birth. After they gave birth, Yumna's aunt's grief was caused by the child she was born to have died. Long story short Raka mother gave one of their children born twins to aunt Yumna because she felt so sorry.

But unfortunately Saga's father, who is the husband of aunt Yumna, did not accept the existence of the child until it caused a great quarrel between them and finally divorced.

After Pak Adijaya explained everything Saga immediately called Tahira to meet with them.

Geck.. Geck.. Geck..

Tahira opened the door of his room and saw Saga looking at him with a look of happiness. Tahira knitted his brows, puzzled.

"Big brother why?" ask Tahira.

"Rara, I love you. It turns out that we are not airborne." replied Saga who immediately embraced Tahira.

"What's? Says who?"

"Meet them and you'll know everything." Saga released their body link.

"They're who? You don't brag brother, I know you love me but never forget our status. We can't be brothers." Tahira was visibly upset by the brother's words.

"If you don't believe me, come down! They are your parents." Saga caught Tahira's eyeballs deep, a sign he was serious about his speech.

'What is all this?' tanya Tahira inwardly while looking at her brother full of question marks.

Meanwhile, no one knew that now Zara had left the house and had even left the village. These two events happen so quickly, the departure of Zara leaves Ran because he can no longer bear the pain in his chest and also the truth about the status of Tahira who is not Saga's brother. Maybe if Zara does not decide to leave, then surely she will hear this truth, because in fact Tahira is the twin brother referred to by Raka when they told her the other day at the reunion event.

When Zara decides to leave Ran's life, then there will definitely be regrets that she feels in the future especially Ran and Tahira's marriage will soon end.
