Chapter 53: Sorry

Two days have passed since the arrival of the Adijaya family to aunt Yumna's house to pick up their biological daughter who has been raised by aunt Yumna. The next day they arrived at the airport. Both of Ran's parents had moved on a few minutes ago. Ran unceasingly stared in the direction where his parents had disappeared. He felt like he did not want to let go of them, there was an uneasy feeling bubbling up in his chest. It felt like her parents would never see her again. Ran took a deep breath. "Come on, we don't have much time. We need to find Zara's whereabouts immediately." Saga patted Ran on the shoulder.

Ran took Zara's phone which he had put on the nightstand. The longing now seeped into his heart. Ran checked the contents of Zara's phone. After pinning the phone, he returned a smile after seeing Zara's wallpapper displaying a picture of their pair of shoes.

From across the phone Saga heard her cousin sobbing and instantly felt what Ran felt. Then Ran disconnects the phone after Saga says she will pick him up. Ran put his phone back on the nightstand.

This is the incident that made him not let go of his parents from before him when at the airport.
