My Lovely Cousin's

My Lovely Cousin's
Chapter 76: Feelings, Truth, Change

That night Naura was preoccupied with thoughts that melanglang buana on the incident this afternoon. His encounter with his father's friend's son caused a question mark. What was the name of the young man who planned to be betrothed to him.

"Why didn't Otousan and Kitora's uncle introduce us to each other?" Ask in the heart.

The girl knocked her pen on the table. His gaze was fixed on the young man's handkerchief which the father had used to wipe the corner of his lips earlier.

"And why am I so curious about the young man's name? Oh, my God, don't let me like it. I still have feelings for Brother Bara." Say again.

Naura then opened a book that looked like a journal from the outside. When the first page caught his retina, a childhood photo of him and Bara greeted. The girl smiled then her memory floated when Bara handed the book to her.

"This.. I gathered all our childhood moments." Said Bara while thrusting the book to himself.

"It's so pretty." Naura said while showing a sparkling smile.

"Do you like it?"

"Yes I like."

"Then just take it. That's for you."

Naura smiled and hugged the journal.

Then his daydream stopped when a knock on the door sounded. Naura averted her gaze while asking in her heart who was knocking.

The door opened and revealed the figure of the mother who was carrying a tray containing snacks and warm tea.

"Okaasan, come in." Naura smiled.

Zara went into her daughter's room and placed the chocolate tray she carried on the nightstand. The two sat down on the edge of the bed.

The 39-year-old woman stroked her daughter's hair and began to sigh.

"Princess Okaasan has grown up. How was the meeting?"

Naura jumped up and then immediately felt nervous. It turned out that his mother also knew about the meeting between him and his father's friend's son. The girl's cheeks turned red and tried to hold back her smile.

"Mmm Naura was a little nervous Okaasan." The girl replied shyly.

"Why nervous, baby? Do you like Mr Kitora's son?" Zara Goda.

"No. That's not Okaasan. I'm nervous because I just met." Elak Naura then smiled knot.

"Hmmm really? What do you think of him?" Ask Zara. His eyes looked at Naura's meeting face.

"I think Kitora's uncle's son is good. He gave me a handkerchief to wipe away the dissert at the corner of my lips." Naura brightened without any trace of admiration. Just a regular confession.

"really?" Fishing Zara again. He was sure his daughter would tell him more.

"Yes. But Otousan who deleted it was not him. The young man gave his handkerchief to Otousan."

Zara sniggered inwardly. Actually, he had heard the story from Ran. He deliberately asked Naura just to see her daughter's reaction. His expectations were not too bad. Although he knew Naura had not liked the young man.

"Knaw." Call Naura.

"Yes?"

"What is the name of the young man?" Naura asked with a face so curious.

Zara laughed and got up from the bed. "Where Okaasan knows." He replied as he left Naura.

"Huh?" Naura was shocked by the passing of her mother. "Why is it so hard just to know his name?"

...*****...

"So, isn't it too early to introduce Naura to someone?" Zara asked her husband.

Currently they were lying face to face under a thick white blanket . The night was too late, but they did not sleep.

"I guess not. What's the matter, what worries you?" Ran looked at his wife with a gentle look.

"Actually I know that Naura likes Bara. Don't you feel like this match-making is going to be difficult for her?"

"It is precisely if not immediately betrothed Naura will feel even more difficult. You know who Bara is. I can't match him with that guy. Even Saga hesitated if it was her son." A scrape of Ran's worry instantly appeared on his face. Whenever the man talked about Bara he always felt that way.

"You're right. I was thinking how Tahira could do that." Zara saw what happened 20 years ago.

"I don't think he really loves Saga." Sahut Ran's.

"I thought the same thing. But who impregnated him? Don't we both know that only Saga does." Zara exhaled a rough breath.

"I feel sorry for Saga. Seeing her age and being widowed makes me sad." Zara turns into Ran's arms.

"I am the same. I used to be so relieved to marry Tahira but it turns out they were only destined to be in a marriage bond for 9 years. If only Saga had not been suspicious and had not done the DNA test then perhaps they were still together. But in a relationship covered by lies." Ran then kissed Zara's forehead.

"Then I agree that Naura is betrothed to Ren." Zara akhinya.

Ran smiled with his wife's approval. Because yesterday Zara didn't really want this. Because considering the feelings of Naura who already had feelings for Bara. But for the good of their daughter, then both must be compact in determining the future of Naura. How and with whom will they hand over their daughter. The queen of both hearts.

"How about Kira? I saw our youngest daughter was very active and a dissident." Ran switched the conversation.

Zara grunts. He also doesn't know what to do with Kira. Just now he found the 15-year-old girl coming home from school by being escorted by Bara at 18:30 and put forward a less convincing reason.

"So he came home late with Bara." Zara.

"What did he say as an excuse?" Ask Ran.

"She said there were extra lessons so every day she would be home late." Zara clear.

"Then I'll pick her up straight away when it's over from her extra lesson. A long time ago, I seemed to be tired. Let's go to sleep." Ran ended all their conversations that night.

...*****...

A bright morning greeted Naura who was about to go to campus. Today his father will deliver. They do not have a driver so Ran always fulfills his role as a good father for his two daughters.

Naura walks with Kira to the car followed by Zara who walks behind. There was a father sitting behind the wheel.

"We're leaving Okaasan." Pamit Naura hugged her mother.

"Jane Okaasan." Said Kira while waving her hand at Zara.

Zara shook her head looking at Kira's disrespectful attitude. Naura watched her mother, so she felt guilty for not reprimanding her sister.

"I'm sorry Kira Okaasan. Maybe Naura always let him make mistakes so his attitude becomes disrespectful." Naura said while looking down.

"No dear. It's not your fault. Depart, Otousan is waiting for you."

Naura nodded then slowly turned around and left the mother. His heart became uncomfortable because of Kira's behavior that was getting more and more outrageous.

The girl sat in the front seat beside Ran then the car sped away from the house.

"What time will it be today, Otousan will pick you up." Sahut Ran to Kira who was sitting in the back by playing his phone.

The girl looked. "Six otousan afternoon." Then focus on his phone.

Naura glanced at the mirror above her which revealed the behavior of her sister. Even with Ran, the girl remained impolite.

"You want to be Kira's son?" Naura's voice pierced through Kira's ears which then made the girl slightly piqued.

"What does brother mean?" Ask Kira ketus.

Naura also snorted annoyedly at seeing Kira with her thin face. Waitgu he felt Kira was too outrageous.

"You didn't respect Otousan when you spoke even earlier you were also being disrespectful to Okaasan." Naura said with a little emphasis.

Kira realized then remembered Bara's words yesterday not to act strange in front of Naura or her parents so they do not suspect. Instantly Kira kept her phone in a bag and lowered her head.

"I'm sorry Otousan. Next time I won't repeat. I'm sorry Brother Naura." He said to cover something.

Ran smiled knots then looked at Naura proudly. He is impressed by Naura's mature attitude that can control his sister. Ran likes that. Seeing that certainly caused jealousy in Kira's heart.

'I was never proud of Otousan. So there's no harm in me betraying my promise and shirking his words.' Kira said in her heart.
