My Lovely Cousin's

My Lovely Cousin's
Chapter 54: 1 Month Later

A girl walking out of her class after the last course. Today was the first day of the even semester making him have to leave for work at night. The girl had been working as a cafe waitress for a month.

Late in the afternoon, he left for the Clover Cafe where he worked. Starting today he will continue to work at night sif. Leaving his past makes him have to work hard to meet the needs of life. And now he lives in a small rented house in a small alley around the campus. The girl went into the employee-only locker room at the cafe and was about to get her job done.

Ahead of the cafe closed three customers came and sat at one of the tables adjacent to the cafe window. A waiter memorized them and quickly recorded the order. After that the waiter handed the order of the three customers to the girl in front of him.

"Zara, three moccacinos for table 9" said the waiter, handing him a piece of paper.

"Alright." replied the girl, who was actually Zara.

Three moccacinos were ready and Zara finally led her to table 9. His eyes widened when he saw the customer sitting at table 9. Instantly his heart was pounding then the incident occurred a month ago when he hurt the person he loved married someone else. Zara trembled, she was not ready to meet the three people now who were none other than Ran, Saga and Tahira.

"Zara, why haven't you been delivered yet?" ask the waiter who gave the paper to Zara.

Zara turned to the owner of the voice. "I'm sorry. Could you take him there, it looks like my stomach is suddenly hurting."

"All right, give it to me." said the waiter.

"Thank you." Zara passed into the bathroom after giving the tray to the waiter who was her partner.

In the bathroom Zara shed tears while sobbing soundlessly. He held her voice inaudible.

'Why should I see their happiness? It's quite painful, even Kak Ran looks very enjoying his life with Tahira. And they are not looking for my existence at all.' he said in his heart.

He was really upset that night. After the cafe closes, Zara and her partner leave the cafe. They walked together to the nearest bus stop while chatting.

"Does your stomach hurt Zara?" ask partner Zara.

"Gee, mm.. Ku's.. I don't think so anymore." replied Zara nervously. Because earlier he only became sick stomach as an excuse to not meet the three people.

His partner nodded without wanting to prolong the conversation. Before long, the bus stopped right in front of them. Zara and her partner got on the bus.

Zara looks moody after the bus leaves the stop.

"You got a problem?" ask the girl next to Zara.

"Mmm no. I just feel tired." replied Zara with a slight forced smile.

Instantly he felt bad for lying to his partner. Of course, now he was not okay after seeing the three people that he did not expect to appear at all.

"Issaura." call Zara down on her partner.

Issaura turned around and looked at Zara's gloomy face. "Well?"

"I want to ask." said Zara slowly.

"Tell me." Issaura threw a warm smile.

"For example, if you ever felt hurt in someone in the past and left him and then suddenly you saw him in front of you, then what would you do?" Zara hesitates to ask that, fearing to burden Issaura.

"depends. If my heart feels good then I will accept his presence again but if my heart still hurts then I will crave. What is it you ask like that?"

"Ah no. This is just an example. Hehe." said Zara with a slight laugh.

"Hmm like that. But I think you have a little problem." Issaura stared intensely at Zara's face.

"It's okay. If one day you need a friend to tell you a story then you can come to me." Issaura stroked Zara's shoulder. They threw warm smiles at each other.

...****...

A few hours ago at Clover Cafe

Ran, Saga and Tahira enter the cafe to rest after searching for Zara. They had been circling the city for a week but had not discovered the whereabouts of the girl. Ran actually felt very upset but the lover in front of him always strengthened and comforted him. Well, Saga and Tahira feel guilty for Zara's departure which is why they have to stay by Ran's side to strengthen the man.

"We have to find where else, to be honest I feel almost desperate" said Ran lethargic.

"Never say that! You have to keep trying to let Zara know you still need her." Saga advised his cousin. Ran nodded.

"I told Surya to come and look for him, but it's the same. Surya even said he had never seen Zara again for the past month" Ran explained.

"What if we looked for him on campus, he might still be in college?" said Tahira who made them like they got a way out.

"True, why did I just think about it?" said Saga.

Ran sighed in despair. "I'm not sure Zara's still in college. Where will he fund his college? I know the boy's not independent."

"Why do you think that?" tanya Tahira with eyebrows linked together.

"Come." replied Ran.

Saga sighed, he felt this Ran always wanted to give up before doing. And because of its nature it makes their search for this week seem slow.

"We should at least try. If you don't want to look for it on campus then Saga and I are leaving" Tahira said.

Ran grunts. At a glance then he circulated his gaze towards the bathroom corridor which could be seen from where he was sitting. A cafe waitress was seen coming out of the corridor, and her mind floated on Zara's figure.

Ran looked back at the bathroom corridor while thinking.

'Did I just look wrong? Why does that servant girl look like Zara? Huh, no way. How could Zara work like that? Besides, that waitress' style looks a little timboy. Hah it is.' said Ran in heart.

They finally decided to leave the cafe.

...*****...

Ran's thoughts continued to float on the figure of the maid girl in the cafe earlier. He sat in the pentri enjoying a cup of warm tea to relax his mind. The girl's face was clearly visible to both of Ran's eyes. Very similar to Zara. The difference is that the girl is short-haired and actually looks like a tomboyish girl.

'Looks like I have to make sure of that tomorrow. I will go back to the cafe, Ran said in his heart.

After enjoying her warm tea Ran decided to move into her room.

Elsewhere Zara stared at her reflection in the mirror. He noticed his style now that had changed. Somehow the girl preferred the tomboy style after she decided to leave Ran. The hair that had been as waist cut so that it could no longer be tied. Then he always braided the right with a small braid lined with three adorned his head. Her hair color is no longer black but maron red. Zara smiled bitterly at the sight of herself who was like a stranger.

"Actually I miss you a lot brother" he said alone.

"But what's the point of me coming back, you're much better now. You even look happy with Tahira."

Zara took a deep breath. Actually he still loves Ran and wants to go back to the man. But today's sight stopped him, because he felt there was no reason to go back.

"I will try to forget you and start living my life well. For a month I tried to be independent and I managed to climb one ladder. But I can't promise to find your replacement, because falling in love again is a hard thing to do. Just leave me like this until my heart is sick of loving you." she said again then moved from the dresser to her bed.
