Another case with Kira and Bara who if they want to meet, they can make a deal without having to involve parents. Naura, actually always met with Ren in a state of eating together between families. This time Ren with his parents came to visit Ran's residence for dinner.
"We are honored to meet Mr. Amakusa's invitation to dinner." Said Mr. Kitora representing his family.
"Thank you for Mr. Kitora's willingness and family, we're so glad you could come." Reply Ran who then gets a friendly smile from their three guests.
They are also welcome to taste the special dinner made by Zara calmly. After dinner, they head to the living room to discuss Naura and Ren's arranged marriage.
"So Mr. Amakusa, our son Ren consented if betrothed to your daughter. What about Naura herself, do you agree?" So calmly, Mr. Kitora spoke.
Ran and Zara looked at their daughter asking for answers. Naura seemed to be smiling with a thin, charming smile. The girl seemed to be still thinking about the answer to the question from Ren's father.
"Naura dear, how is it?" Zara asked as she stroked her two daughters shoulders.
Naura looked down respectfully at the two Ren parents sitting before her. The two are seen waiting for the answer that comes out of the girl's mouth.
"Can I ask for time to answer, given the decision there is always a risk to be borne at a later date. I think this whole thing takes time." Said the girl without fading her faint smile.
Mr. Kitora and his wife stared at each other for a moment. Then the middle-aged man turned to his son as if asking for an opinion. It was seen Ren nodding his head in sign the young man agreed. Mr. Kitora finally looked at the beautiful girl he hoped to be his daughter-in-law, expectantly as if he only wanted Naura to be Ren's wife.
"How long did Naura ask for?" Ask Mr. Kitora.
"The next two months I'll tell you about my decision, uncle." Answer Naura.
"Isn't it too long, son?" Sela Ran's.
"Dear, think again. It would be better if you answer it in the near future. Ren must need certainty." Sahut Zara strengthens Ran's defense.
The girl named Naura looked back in thought. His face looked so calm and kept smiling. Secretly the young man sitting on the sofa opposite looked at her with awe. Not expecting if a Naura can be that calm when asked for a decision, the women will find it difficult to do that.
'The Limited Edition is well worth it. Besides being beautiful, polite and clever, she was also rare. Whether I can match up with him who is just an ordinary man who has no advantages to be proud of. I envy her' Ren humbled inwardly as his lips formed a knotty smile line.
A moment of silence filled the atmosphere between them which then provoked a sense of awkwardness. Before long Naura began to sigh, feeling steady with the contents of the thoughts she was about to speak. The girl finally opened her voice.
"Alright, after the even semester exam next week. Naura promised to give me an answer." Said the girl.
Mr. Kitora who was almost disappointed, was again made a little hope to get an approval answer from Naura. He was sure, in the next week there was a bright light of the matchmaking plan between Ren and the girl.
"Think of the best, son, we really hope to hear the best answer from you." Now Mr. Kitora's wife is speaking.
"Of course Auntie. Naura won't let you down, even if she refuses." Reply Naura.
"meaning?" Ren's distinctive voice was heard for the first time.
The others seemed to focus their gaze on the young man who suddenly replied that.
"For a decision, I can't necessarily give an agreed answer. But if my heart doesn't lean in that direction, I can offer my brother to take my place." Naura replied slightly quivering from the nervousness that suddenly struck her due to the question from Ren.
Ran looked at his daughter in wonder. "It's not yet time to discuss matchmaking for Kira. How could your position be replaced by your sister?"
"Wait," Mr. Kitora looked puzzled. "Is Naura's brother also a girl?" Further.
"Yes sir, sister Naura." An Ran replied smiling.
Mr. Kitora seemed to think as if there was an idea inside his head that was twitching.
"What if like Naura can't accept this match, her sister's the one who replaces her?" The middle-aged man.
Ran was stunned for a moment to digest. Not bad also the proposal but he could not take it for granted because Kira was still a child and what if Naura really refused.
"I'm sorry Mr. Kitora, but our second daughter is still young." Ran tried to show a calm attitude.
"Then how?" Ask Mr. Kitora again. "I really hope to be your besan Mr. Amakusa." Said later.
"Sorry Uncle Kitora. It was not that Naura wanted to interrupt uncle's words," the girl paused while looking at Ren's father.
"Please son, continue with your words." Mr. Kitora.
"There is still a week ahead, who knows Naura agrees with this matchmaking. Because no one knows in the future. So Naura asked Uncle not to be too hopeful and not to feel hopeless." Naura.
Mr. Kitora finally understood, all this is just a matter of time. In the middle-aged man's heart prayed that Naura's heart could be inclined to accept the match.
"Well if it's like that. We will happily wait for an answer from Naura." Break up Mr. Kitora.
Ran nodded with a thousand apologies emanating from his face for the decision his daughter will make next week.
"Thank you for your understanding, sir." Ran Said.
"It doesn't matter Mr. Amakusa, we understand. Naura is a noble child and has the right to decide her life." Mr. Kitora smiled meaningfully. His heart was filled with admiration for Naura.
"May all things go as expected." Timpal Kitora's wife is taken by Ran and Zara.
Not long ago the family of Mr. Kitora decided to leave home. Ran, Zara and Naura drove them to the front door. In the grounds of their modest home, Mr. Kitora's white luxury car was parked. One of the middle-aged man's aides was seen getting into the car and starting the engine.
"Till Mr. Amakusa, Mrs Amakusa and Naura." The two parents' split Ren.
Both of them stepped into the car. Ren asked for some time to talk to Naura. Permission is granted Ran to them on condition that it can only be in front of the man's eyes.
"Thank you uncle, I'm just a moment away. There, we'll talk both." Ren pointed towards the corner of the yard that could still be reached by the eyes of the two Zara parents.
"Please."
Ren invited Naura to pull over to the corner of the yard that the man had pointed at. When space was available for the two of them to speak, Ren escorted.
"Can I ask you why you didn't accept this match?"
Ren noticed the look on the girl's face that looked flat indecipherable. Instantly it made Ren want to cancel his question.
"It's not. I'm sorry," Naura smiled for a moment. "There's just someone else in my heart. Maybe you don't understand this but love has an object and an object of my love is directed at someone else." Further.
Ren was silent for a moment. After that he took a slow breath. "Of course I understand. I used to feel that way too. But because my parents' high hopes wanted us to be betrothed, I had no reason to refuse. They are my happiness."
"I'm sorry about what I said again." Naura felt guilty.
"It's okay. It doesn't make me feel like a loss." Ren.
"So, how? Is that why you want to continue?" Naura asked him to return their topic.
"certain. Like my dad said, if you weren't your sister, you'd be." Ren replied, looking so relaxed.
"I think it's a little complicated, again I'm sorry. Because of me, it's all so hard."
As if bored with the apology from Naura who had not heard how many times the man, Ren berusha to refine his language so that Naura does not feel guilty continue.
"No, it's not your fault. Mmm well it seems like we've had enough of our chat. I can understand enough about your situation. I'm saying goodbye." After the sentence was said, Ren raised his hand while waving slowly at the girl then passed.
Naura stared at the white car's departure from the gate of her house. He then returned to the side of his parents.
"What are you talking about?" Ran asked as they walked into the house.
"Not so important Otousan." Answer Naura.
While stepping in, they engaged in light conversation until the sound of shouting from the direction of the door. He looked at the origin of the voice. For the figure of Kira who looked lethargic and tired stepped in their direction. The 15-year-old girl slammed into her mother's arms.
"Pardon Kira for coming home this late." Slowly shut.
Zara looked at her husband with tightly pursed lips. Then Ran started to answer.
"Look, baby, here."
Kira lets go of her embrace to her mother and hugs Ran.
"I'm sorry Kira Otousan." Syahdu.
Ran smiled then stroked his daughter's head. "Child of Otousan, already big well. Take care of yourself when you're outside, I love you so much. Do not let the world make this Otousan princess complacent. Remember, Kira has a future to fight for. Avoid dating and promiscuity."
I was stunned and a little guilty. All day long, he has been doing what his father has forbidden. Making time to mix love with Bara and also go to the place where the youth of her lover who is an average alcoholic.
"Yes Otousan." Kira had to say that.
After the advice-filled hug was over they decided to go to their respective rooms.
Kira walked lethargicly towards her room, when she was about to enter her steps stopped because she heard the soft voice of her brother.
"Kira, where?" Ask Naura.
Actually, Naura had no intention to stop her sister's footsteps but happened to pass by she decided to speak stale for a moment.
"Kira from a friend's house, Kak, studied together before the exam. What's up, brother?"
"No. Brother just asked. Oh yes, brother wants to ask your opinion."
Kira looked into Naura's eyes. "About what?"
"If you refuse to be betrothed to Uncle Kitora's child, are you willing to replace your brother?" Ask Naura slowly.
Kira felt her brother's speech did not sound like asking for an opinion but rather asking for willingness.
"Of course not. Why would you want to refuse anyway?"
Naura smiled. A happy look on his face. "Son's like Brother Bara."
Kira rounded her eyes not accepting. Almost swearing came out of his lips. But quickly the girl calmed down.
"Then?" Kira seemed to be hiding something.
"So, I hope to be with Brother Bara even though it's impossible." Answer Naura.
Naura's words sounded ambiguous in Kira's ears. The girl did not know if her brother wished to be with Bara in what case, a lover or a wife. Not wanting to take a dizzy, Kira even broke the hope in Naura's heart.
"Indeed, Kak Bara likes Kak Naura until brother wishes like that?"
Naura was struck by the words of her sister. As she remembered, Bara never expressed her feelings to her. Until the girl felt a little tight on her chest.
"Son't go, good night." Naura said that finally passed.
Kira smiled a small smile before the girl finally entered her room.
"Sister Bara only likes Kira, Sister Naura. Brother doesn't have to hope." Murmured Kira with a flat tone and a sharp eye highlight.
