"eeh, i.. I can explain." said Ran stammered.
Zara's gaze dimmed along with the fear that instantly struck, "Sister.. I'm scared!" Zara then hugged Ran tightly.
Ran was surprised, why did the girl not get angry at him and instead hugged him tightly. He also returned the embrace. Zara did not worry about Ran's sudden existence, only when she woke up her feelings were confused. He dreamed something to wake him up.
"Ka.. Why are you Chibi-chan?" ran asked while gently stroking the girl's hair.
"Sister.." Zara sobbed, "so I had a bad dream.. But strangely, I can't remember. And now I'm.. I'm so scared, brother."
Hearing the girl's words made Ran feel anxious, again she stroked Zara's hair. "Chibi-chan's. Be calm! Brother is with you." said Ran to calm Zara and then kissed her forehead.
The girl still continued to sob while tightly hugging Ran's body. While Ran felt a little relieved because his ignorance was not responded by Zara. Finally Ran fixed their position to lie down perfectly. While still hugging Zara, Ran pulled out a blanket to cover their bodies. They are now under the blanket.
"Is it better?" Ran tries to make sure of the girl's condition.
Zara shook her head as she continued to hug Ran. His breathing sounded chaotic, and his heart was heard beating irregularly. Honestly, Ran felt very comfortable with such a position.
Until late at night, they remained in this position. Zara was still sobbing, but because she was tired she fell asleep. While Ran, he still faithfully hugged the girl. He looked at Zara's white face and shone and stroked the girl's thin cheeks.
Ran smiled as he continued to look at Zara's face which further cooled his heart. There is a fragmented perception that is most likely to occur. If Zara's father gives her responsibility to take care of the girl, then that means Zara's father wants marriage between them. Thought Ran.
He snorted and smiled knot. If his perception is correct, then it is a happiness for him to marry the girl he already loves. Ran closed his eyes with the thoughts that enveloped his mind. Before long, he drowned in a long dream.
Three days have passed, the final exam is over. Now the students are having fun because they have finally gone through these stressful days. Zara walked with her best friend Faykah down the corridor, several times they had stopped to just greet with other students of the class they knew and did not forget they also congratulated each other.
"Oh Zara, Faykah, good luck." Naraya said to Zara and Faykah.
"Congratulations to you too, Naraya." Reply Zara with a sweet smile.
Shortly after, two men who apparently were Akabir and Raka came together and immediately approached the three girls. Zara who saw their arrival wanted to move but Akabir and Raka had already called her name. "Zara's."
The girl flinched, the shadow of Raka's treatment of her some time ago re-created in her memory. Soon he really wanted to move but Akabir quickly prevented him. "Eh Wait.. Zara, there's something Raka wants to tell you." Akabir.
Zara bowed down from feeling a little scared. Seeing this made Faykah and Naraya wonder. But they just chose to be quiet while watching what was going on.
Raka stepped over to Zara with the guilt she had been harboring for some time, wanting to apologize to the girl she had abused. After the incident that day, Raka immediately realized and never again repeated the stupidity. Even his addiction to watching unusual films was also stopped, somehow the experience was reported and found to make him no longer desire to do the disgraceful thing again. Akabir bore witness to a Raka's repentance of his despicable deeds.
Both of them moved away from the crowd. So that no one knows the problems between them. Raka looked down and then started to say.
"Aittle, Zara. I was begging you to listen to me. L'm.. I want to apologize to you for my bad behavior that day" he said with regret.
"But, you.. You apologized yesterday." Reply Zara with a nervous tone.
"I feel dissatisfied. Because you left yesterday when I wanted to give you this.." Raka gave a box that was quite large.
"A.. What'sthat?" Zara looked at the box doubtfully.
"Get it, this is a gift from me as an apology. You can open it when you get home." Raka smiled knot.
Zara received the box with a heart that began to airy. Instantly Raka was hit by the breeze because she felt relieved. The apology he had been waiting for for some time, which made his heart not calm, was finally realized, even though on the last day they met.
"Mmm, there's one more thing I want to say. I used to like you, and even now I still like you a lot. But I realize that people as depraved as I am do not deserve to be with a good person like you. And.. Since I consider you as my friend now so, I tell you that.. That I would go abroad to continue my studies." in such a doubtful tone, Raka still conveyed his heart.
Although he knew it was not important for Zara, but he had to keep telling the girl so that she did not leave with a state of pain because she already liked Zara. At least the girl already knows her feelings even though she is very sure if Zara will never reciprocate her feelings.
"Thank you for listening to my heart. And once again I apologize for the first kiss I took from you. I'm really sorry." Raka lowered her head.
"I forgive you. And thanks for the gift, I appreciate all this. And well, sorry that I can't return your feelings." Zara replied with a wry smile.
Raka also smiled back, knowing that Zara would say it but somehow she felt her heart was so disappointed. But there was no longer any reason for him to expect Zara whom he had injured physically and mentally. Then he looked at Akabir to give the code, well they will move. Akabir slowly approached them and smiled at Zara.
"We go first." Akabir said, and they went out from before the girl.
Zara stared at the departure of the two men, she was actually very surprised and saluted at Raka's drastically changed attitude. There was a bit of disappointment that seethed into his heart, why did Raka just reveal it to him. But he immediately dismissed the feeling because now he also has a lover who is none other than his own cousin.
Faykah and Naraya memorize Zara. They were embracing the girl's shoulders together while asking. "What's wrong with you guys?" Ask Naraya.
Zara looked at them with a smile, "Just say good bye." Answer her shimmily.
Both are understanding. Finally after a few seconds in that position, Naraya and Faykah finally let go of their embrace. "Zara, I'm saying yes. I want to go home soon." Naraya.
"Alright, be careful." Reply Zara and Faykah together.
"Pardon my behavior all this time Faykah." Zara said to haru.
"No Zara, no. We are friends, and it is fitting that I always accept your behavior. Because it's.. I love you so much as a friend, nothing makes my day so happy other than you. So, I don't mind your attitude at all. You're my best friend." Reply Faykah while hugging Zara.
The girl felt very moved to hear Faykah's words, she felt that there was never the most sincere person to accompany her except her best friend. Zara let go of the embrace and they stared at each other with tears adorning each other's cheeks. Both giggle.
"Never erase my number! I'll always be your best friend, forever!" Faykah.
Zara nodded for sure. "Not going to."
Shortly afterwards, a car that was familiar to Zara, slowly he waved at Faykah as a sign of farewell and then darted into his car.
...
"Have you cried?" asked Ran who was driving then looked at Zara at a glance.
"Well, I was crying." Answer Zara.
"Why?" asked Ran astonished.
"I've been with Faykah for three years, and today we're separated" replied the girl sadly.
"Is that close to you?"
"Well, we're like brothers."
"Why should you be sad? You can still meet at another time."
"He's getting married."
Ran dumbfounded. "really? Oh, my God, now I understand."
Then Ran accidentally sees a box being hugged by Zara. "What's that about him?" Ask the man, who thought the box was from Faykah.
"Ah this box. This is Raka's giving as her apology." Zara replied casually.
While Ran instantly heated up. "What's? That bratty kid? Why give you something? It seems my punishment is less harsh for him. Alright I'll.." Ran hasn't had time to continue his words, Zara immediately cut.
"No Brother. You don't have to bother, he apologized and.. Gonna go out of the country soon."
"Good! The child seems inappropriate." again Ran's speech was cut off.
"His brother, I forgive him anyway. And one thing you should know, he's changed."
Ran frowned then then laughed. "Huhahah, are you kidding me? How could a child seem to change huh?"
"I'm serious!" Zara raised her volume.
Ran stopped his laughter "Just give it up!" said Ran Ketus.
"Oh yeah, I remembered something. I wanted to ask you, do you remember if we were dating?" Ran switched the conversation.
"Remember, why?" Zara frowning.
"I want us to take it seriously!" Ran glanced at a glance.
"Are we not serious all this time?" asked Zara innocently.
"That's not what I mean! L'm.. Understand that! I wanna.." Ran could not continue his words. He hesitates to tell Zara if he wants to marry the girl.
'Say no, yeah? Eem, did I just say yes? Was it too early to ask her to get married? Does he want to?' Ran wondered in his heart.
Zara looked at the confused face while waiting for an answer. It was not terbesit at all in her head that Ran was planning to marry her.
