Chapter 30: The Ran

Several months have passed, now Zara is in the semester of one lecture. He entered the department of business management at the same university as Ran. But surely they will never go to college together because Ran has graduated from there.

Early entry on the campus Zara got some new friends and always someone became her best friend. After his separation from Faykah a few months ago, Aura replaced Faykah. Aura becomes Zara's new best friend.

At the campus cafeteria Zara and Aura were resting while enjoying a snack they ordered earlier accompanied by a milkshake. Before long, a man who was Aura's cousin as well as their classmate came over.

"Can I join?" ask the man.

"Ah Satria, sit down." replied Aura.

Satria sat next to Zara. The girl smiled at him as usual because indeed they often gathered three like this. You could say the three of them were friends. But without Zara knowing, Satria puts her feelings on him. Aura knew that her cousin liked Zara, but she did not tell him because Satria forbade her. Satria reasoned that if Aura told Zara about her feelings then surely the girl would stay away from her. So Aura decided not to say that for Satria's convenience.

A few seconds later, Aura opened the conversation. "Zara, come home and watch? There's the latest Japanese dorama." said Aura. Apparently Aura is also one of the people who like Jejepangan, even his family has a small Japanese restaurant in the downtown area.

"Truely, it seems like I'm not busy" Zara replied.

"Okay, we're going. I already have three tickets. Satria, do you want to come too?" Aura looked at Satria.

"You're taking me? Well, I will." replied Satria.

"At 4pm I'll pick you up Zara. So be prepared." Aura told Zara.

"Okay." replied the girl briefly while going back to devouring her snacks.

In that instant Satria began to watch Zara as she had always done since she first knew the girl. Although there was never an important conversation between them, Satria was already very happy just by sitting next to the girl.

Now Zara switched to playing her phone, for a moment she smiled thinly which made her look so sweet. Satria certainly caught the expression, instantly feeling surprised. As long as he gets to know Zara this time the girl shows a thin smile. Satria felt more and more in love with the girl, how not besides beautiful Zara was also kind.

During this time Satria never met Zara's semcam girl except Aura, but he could not like his cousin because they both agreed that they would only consider each other brothers only.

"What's wrong, Zara. Why do you keep smiling at your phone?" ask Satria.

Zara and Aura stared at the man at the same time. "Hey, don't think about it. I was just replying to a message." said the girl.

"If you're just replying, why smile so widely?" satria teases Zara.

"Why if I smile? Does that fascinate you, hahahaha." the girl laughed. Satria and Aura also laughed.

After returning from campus, Zara visits Ran's office to take the man to lunch. The girl saw Ran being focused with the screen in front of her. Zara approached, "Sister, is it too busy?" tanyakanya.

Ran glanced over, "Yes, I'm still very busy."

"really? But you must be hungry, right? What if I buy food and bring it here?" Zara gave advice.

"May." answered Ran briefly then looked back at his laptop screen.

Zara drove to the restaurant on the ground floor of the office. After finishing buying food the girl immediately moved back to Ran's room. When he entered, he found the man sitting on the couch. Zara placed the food she bought on the table while sitting next to Ran.

"Eat first." said Zara. Ran nodded slowly while massaging his temple. Seeing that Zara felt anxious.

"Your head hurts again? Want meijit?" ask the girl.

Ran only nodded at a glance. Zara approached the man and began massaging his head slowly. Zara has been doing that for a few days to Ran, I don't know what happened to her lover. Even Ran also lately looks cool and cold, making Zara sometimes feel awkward. But the girl did not want to think that no-no, she could only assume that Ran was busy with work that was very heavy.

Their relationship has recently also begun to stretch. Ran never again kissed or hugged the girl even Ran very rarely spoke. Zara felt strange, but because she loved the man, she had to serve him with all her heart.

After finishing massaging Ran's head, the girl offered food and they ate together. In between their meals, Zara tried to open her voice. "So, why haven't you spoken so much lately?" tanyanya slow.

Ran stared flat at the girl's face, somehow the question upset her. He chose to go back to eating his food without responding.

"Do you know, I feel so weird about your attitude. Lately you've been scaring me for attitude." said Zara, who just wanted to convey her heart.

Hearing that Ran felt really emotional, he immediately kept his food on the table hard. Zara jerks. "Why do you keep asking me that? Don't you understand that I'm tired?" unexpectedly, the man snapped at Zara.

When the girl looked down, tears were seen streaming down her cheeks. Seeing that Ran did not feel pity at all and instead decided to move from the sofa to his desk. "Get out!" ran's orders were rude.

Zara tried to hold back her tears. Quickly the girl got up and moved from Ran's room. Seeing that Ran just grunted annoyed, somehow some time later he felt faster emotions. Yesterday he could still hold his emotions but today he can no longer stem.

Zara chooses to go home to Ran's apartment and packs all her clothes. He intends to return to his rumh that he has long left. Heartache enveloped his niche this time.

The shadow of Ran who had just snapped at him in the office was very sad for his day, how not he had worked hard to do his best for the sake of the man to stay comfortable. Then without thinking it turns out the man even scolded him. Suddenly Zara felt doubtful towards Ran, her trust instantly evaporated.

"If he loves me, why is his attitude so rude. He even kicked me out, hiks.. Hiks.." said Zara while crying a mouthful.

Now he is cleaning his entire house which is very dusty due to being abandoned for too long. After everything was done he began to lay his body on his bed. Suddenly his phone rang indicating that there was an entry. Aura's name was plastered on the screen of her phone, the girl raised Aura's call.

"Why Au?" ask Zara.

"I'm in front of your apartment, Zara, get out!" aura pinta.

"Huh? Jeez Aura, I forgot if we were going to leave this afternoon. Em, I'm not in the apartment, I.. I'm home now." Zara hit her head.

"Oh Zara why did you just say it? Now send me your home address. Let me pick you up there."

"No, let me go alone." Zara refused.

"Just like, Satria and I are waiting for you there."

"Hey, I've come" said Zara.

"Eh, finally came too. Let's go inside." said Aura who immediately rose up followed by Satria.

When it was about to enter the cinema suddenly Aura's phone rang signaling an incoming message. Aura read it, then took a slow breath. "It looks like this time I'm not going to watch" he said listlessly.

"Why?" ask Zara and Satria at the same time.

"The Bryan family is coming to my house" replied Aura with a listless look.

"What's? So, you're gonna be proposed to that soon?" Zara frowning.

"Well that's it." replied Aura.

Bryan is a man who is betrothed to Aura, they have not liked each other but there is no reason they refuse matchmaking from their parents considering they both do not have lovers.

"I go home first well, you go on." said Aura lethargic and immediately moved on.

Now that only Zara and Satria were in the place, they decided to immediately enter and sit in the audience seats. Before long the film begins, the two just watch boredly. Satria glanced at Zara who looked like she was snorting languidly.

"Bored?" ask Satria.

"Hm." Zara nodded in lethargy.

"Then, let's go." take Satria.

They came out of the cinema and went to a cafe in front of the cinema. They sat down with a cup of cappucino coffee.

"From the moment I looked at your face, were you in trouble?" Satria.

"That's so." Zara smiled softly.

"So.. What's your problem? Will you tell me?"

"But I'm a little awkward hehe." Zara tried to refuse.

"It's okay, just tell me. We're friends anyway." Satria smiled.

Zara's clumsiness instantly disappeared after hearing Satria's statement. Without wasting time he also told me all the events that made his heart hurt without mentioning Ran by name.

"Hmm, so it's like that" Satria nodded.

Satria's heart felt a little afraid to hear Zara's story, he thought there was no man close to the girl of his target other than himself. He also tried to show a smile of compulsion.

"I think he needs time to calm down" said Zara lethargic.

"Please Zara, you won't be lonely. I will always accompany you." said Satria kindly.

"thank you. You're a good friend."

At the speech Satria just now he slipped an implied message that did not seem to make Zara sensitive. Again Satria showed a smile of compulsion. "What should I do for you so you can feel better?" ask Satria.

"Now I just want to go to the park. Will you accompany me?"

"Whatever to you Zara." replied Satria.

After finishing their coffee finally within ten minutes both of them were already in the park. At that time the park seemed quiet, they decided to sit on the edge of the lake around the park.

"Are you still feeling hurt?" tanya Satria broke the silence.

"Still." replied Zara who immediately shed tears.

Seeing that Satria hurriedly calmed the girl down. Slowly Satria grabbed both of Zara's shoulders. "Calm down. Don't be like this."

"I can't afford Satria. My heart hurts so much, only this time he snapped at me. Hix.. Hicks.." Satria's feelings carried along, he without hesitation hugged the girl.

"Forget him for a moment. I'll make you feel better." said Satria.

Zara simply resigned herself to all of Satria's treatment of her. This time, Satria was able to make him feel a little calm and comfortable in his curves.

At 22:30, Ran had just returned to the apartment. He entered without making a sound, for a moment he looked for the whereabouts of Zara and it turned out that the girl was not anywhere. He went into Zara's room and accidentally saw a piece of paper on the nightstand. The man took the paper which appeared to contain a letter.

'I'm sorry for my mistake. I just feel weird when you scold me and I feel so hurt. But I realize I'm guilty. Once again forgive me. And well I'm not gonna stay here anymore, I'm coming home so I don't bother you anymore. If you want to break up, then just say I'll accept. Zara's.

Ran rubbed his face rough but his upset feelings have not disappeared. He was very tired and decided to go to the bathroom. After that, he rested on a ranch. Ran looked at the ceiling of his room while imagining his speech and behavior this afternoon at Zara. However, instead of feeling guilty Ran instead brushed off his mind and closed his eyes.
