My Lovely Cousin's

My Lovely Cousin's
Chapter 61: The Wheel of Life

Footsteps rang out so hurriedly in the corridor of the 8th floor, showing a well-dressed man rushing towards his room. The employees greeted him but only answered him with a brief pang. There is an important matter to be done this morning. Not about work, but about his assistant who suddenly wanted to resign.

Ran spread his gaze towards Surya's room, the door opened and revealed the tall, masculine-looking man. Surya walks behind Ran towards the CEO's room. Ran sat in his chair followed by Surya who sat in front of him.

"Why do you suddenly want to resign? Did I suckle you too much?" ask Ran for the first time.

His face looks so anxious, Ran does not want Surya to stop being his assistant. Because he feels very comfortable if Surya who takes over the job when he is driving.

"Previously forgive me boss, it's nothing. It's just that I've been with GAF for a long time, and I think Dad needs me at his agency. In addition, I also want to find a companion for life." replied Surya with great respect.

Although Ran is younger than him but still he must respect the man because of Ran's position as his boss.

"alright. But can you resign after I get married next week?" bejuk Ran's. Actually it was very hard for Ran to release his favorite assistant. Moreover, Surya is loyal to him.

"Married? Next week? With who?" instead of replying to Ran's words, Surya instead focused on the word married. In his head, could it be that this boss of his would marry Zara?

"Yes, I'm getting married next week to Zara. And you must be present. After that I let you go." replied Ran in an unwilling tone.

"All right boss. May your marriage run smoothly, I am happy to hear it." replied Surya obediently while giving his happy words.

"thank you. I also wish you could get someone to help." Ran smiled knotingly.

After Surya came out of his room, Ran seemed to think hard. Really the sense of unreliability is so great, because besides Surya no one can work as he wishes. If only Surya could be copied, then Ran would do so with pleasure.

"If only Surya had a replacement." he murmured while massaging his temple. He thought about the future of the company in his hands without Surya.

In a moment, Saga's figure flashed across his head. Ran tries to weigh in, like if the man replaced Surya. But, can Saga work like Surya? Ran rubbed his face rough, only this time he was made dizzy. Fortunately, his marriage to Zara was taken care of by Saga and Tahira.

Thinking about Saga's marriage, Ran thinks about giving the man a chance to replace Surya if he gets satisfaction from Saga's work for her marriage.

"Hmm, interesting." muttered Ran who then followed a knotty smile.

...*****...

In the afternoon, Ran drives his car to the Zara campus. It has become a routine for him to pick up the little girl his future wife. Right in front of the campus gate Ran stopped his car, seen Zara waving at him then the girl saying goodbye to her friends, it could be seen from a distance Satria and Aura as well as a girl who looked graceful and sweet.

Ran stood in front of his car as he spread his arms, Zara quickly ran to get into the man's arms. The narrow-eyed man of her future husband. Ran clutches his little girl lovingly, and so does Zara. They hugged in the middle of a busy city situation passing vehicles.

From the direction of the Aura gate, Satria and Aya noticed them.

"Sweet." said Aya. "What's Zara's lover?" Aya displayed her sweet smile.

"The man is Zara's life." replied Satria, tucked away in grief in her speech.

"I'm used to it." said Aura.

Ran let go of his arms and led Zara into the car. They headed to a restaurant.

"How was your day on campus, successful female aspirant?" Ran started their conversation in the car.

"Funny. I enjoyed my studies today." replied Zara with a sweet smile full of love.

Among them there is no more awkwardness to express feelings for each other. Moreover, their status is now not just a lover but a future husband and wife. Indeed, for Zara this was the biggest step she had ever taken in her life, accepting Ran as her future husband.

"What about you? Is your work going well?" continued Zara, her smile did not fade one bit.

"Not so smoothly." replied Ran lethargic.

Zara's face changed when Ran said that. "He? What was? Do you have a maslah in the office?"

"Well, the problem is huge."

"really? Jesus, brother, what's going on?" Zara showed her serious face.

Ran let out a heavy breath. "Surya will resign."

"Huh?" peekit Zara's. In his heart cursed Ran's attitude which he thought was too exaggerated.

'Just because Surya will resign maslah considered great? It seems like Kak Ran is already lacking in sane.'

Zara blinked her eyes, was Ran really serious about her words? Not wanting to take a headache, Zara just kept quiet.

"The two years I was with him, he never once let me down. Even when I fight for you, he helps me. Give up precious time to replace my work to persuade you when you were angry." Ran pause.

This is what makes Zara finally understand, why the narrow-eyed man next to her is so confusing the figure of Surya. Of all the reasons that Ran spoke, only the reason about him was the most logical. In essence, Ran considers Surya very valuable because the man is very understanding, especially about fighting for him. Think Zara.

"Sometimes we have to give up the most precious thing in life, because in the future there will be other valuable things that will come." said Zara, sounding wise but actually the sentence just crossed it, Zara did not really understand the sentence he issued.

"You're right. But it's very difficult for me." complains Ran.

"Later you will feel airy when Surya has hijacked from your life and the next valuable thing comes to you. For example, Brother Surya is no longer your assistant, instead I become your wife, is that not a valuable thing?"

Ran digested, Zara's words like being fixed on the implications of the spinning wheel. Where life will not always run like a desire and not just walk there.

"You're right. Because life will not stop spinning. There was a time when life was being overhauled." Ran smiled. His heart began to grow. It was not in vain that he poured out his heart to Zara. Because finally the girl had made him breathe a sigh of relief.

"Thank you, you set me free from my own entanglement" Ran said. Zara just smiled.

Finally, they were in a famous restaurant in the city. Zara rounded her eyes, surprised. It turns out that their goal is not to go home to the apartment but to stop at a restaurant.

"I guess we'll go home." said Zara after they walked into the resaturant.

"No, I have an appointment with someone. Doesn't matter, does it?" Ran looked at the girl.

"No." replied Zara briefly.

Actually a promise with someone is not the only reason for Ran to include his favorite girl, but he also wants to surprise Zara because the people they will meet are Faykah and Aizuko. Ran thought, surely Zara would love to meet her old best friend. And one more, Ran plans to inform Aizuko and Faykah of their wedding plans.

They sat in the privacy room of the restaurant, still both. Zara looked back and forth looking for the person who made the appointment with Ran. He was surprised, where is the man?

"Sister, where's the guy who made the appointment with you?" ask Zara.

Ran was about to answer, but was preceded by Faykah's voice greeting them first. Zara rounded her eyes to hear the familiar voice, then she turned her head.

"Fay.. I miss you." Zara said in a very spoiled tone. He felt so happy to be reunited with his best friend.

"Me too." replied Faykah.

Aizuko shook Ran's hand while throwing friendly smiles at each other. Then finally Faykah and Aizuko sat down before them.

"I'm glad to be able to attend your dinner invitation Mr. Ran." Aizuko.

"thank you. It's an honor to bring you here, Mr. Aizuko." replied Ran. The next few seconds they talked.

Zara and Faykah are also engrossed in their world. The conversation of the two girls was clearly very different from the two adult men next to them. If Ran and Aizuko talk about work and business then Zara and Faykah discuss their lives and exchange stories.

An hour passed, dinner was over and they paused for a moment before moving on. Ran embraced Zara's shoulder.

"We invite you specifically for our wedding next week" Ran said.

Faykah was surprised, it turns out his best friend is getting married. "Ooh, so you're getting married? Well, congratulations." said Faykah.

Zara looked down embarrassed, while Ran smiled towards them.

"Congratulations Mr. Ran, may your marriage be smooth. We'll come." said Aizuko.

"Thank you Mr. Aizuko." replied Ran.
