Chapter 31: Two Hearts that Are Broken
While Zara was lying down holding the edge of the blanket that covered her entire body. The girl's feelings had indeed improved a little but not with her mind. He kept thinking about Ran, why and how could the man yell at him when he thought there was nothing wrong with the question he was asking.
Soon her tears flowed back. He put his face on the pillow. An hour later, he finally felt tired and tense in his head. Zara grimaced for a moment. "Maybe he'll be happy and won't care if I'm sick" he said. Zara fixed her position and decided to close her eyes.

The morning came with a beam of sunlight that penetrated into the girl's room through the window without excuse. Zara opened her eyes slowly. He stared at the ceiling of his room with a pus. His breathing was panting, and his feelings were getting more and more unpleasant.
Many times the girl tried to catch her breath in order to be normal. Zara began to swallow her saliva to resist the dizziness that never subsided. Before long his phone rang a sign there was an incoming call. Zara grabs the phone under the pillow and sees the name of the caller who turns out to be Satria.
"Halo Satria." said Zara Lirih.
"Zara, where are you? Why not go to college today? Are you sick?" satria asked me for a long time because I was worried.
"I.. I'm not feeling well. My head is very dizzy." replied Zara still in a soft tone.
"Jeez Zara, why don't you tell me. I'm so worried about you! Now I'm gonna go see you. Wait for me." said Satria in a hurry.
"Hey on Satria!" Zara prevents.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't want to bother."
"Heh you are this. I don't feel any hassles at all just for helping my best friend. So wait for me. Understood?"
"Mm, okay." Zara couldn't resist.
Since yesterday they have been closer after Zara poured out her heart. Satria felt very sorry for the girl which made her feel like she had to take responsibility and had to stay by her side. After returning from the lake Satria also drove Zara home to make sure that the girl was okay.
Half an hour later Satria appeared from behind the door. Zara who was lying down was about to wake her body, but was quickly prevented by Satria.
"Lay down!" satria.
"But I.." Zara's words were stopped by Satria.
"I'll help you" said Satria.
Zara just nodded slowly. Satria immediately opened the food she brought for the girl and was about to feed her.
"I can do it myself" said Zara.
"In a weak state you are still strong. Never mind, let me do it!" satria.
"All right." murmured Zara.
Satria also feeds Zara bribes for bribes. The girl accepted it with resignation. For a moment Zara's eyes looked at Satria's face which could be said to be handsome. The look of sincerity on the face of the quiet man before him, a hint of admiration arose in Zara's heart.
"Well, one more bribe" said Satria who made Zara aware of her daydream.
The girl devoured the last mouthful then swallowed it quickly. Satria gave him a bottle of mineral water, and Zara drank it. Zara chose to lean on the back of her bed while Satria sat on the edge of the bed.
"Is there a lecturer coming in today?" ask Zara worried.
"You take it easy, nobody comes in today" replied Satria.
"Ah, thank goodness."
Satria looked at the girl expectantly, her plan today she would express her feelings. Because he felt that after getting to know Zara's true nature yesterday, his courage began to emerge. Although he was not sure the girl would accept it but at least he should know his feelings. Slowly Satria began to hold Zara's hand. Instantly Zara flinched.
"Satria?" Zara.
"Zara's.. L'm.. I wanted to say something." Satria's gaze grew more and more clingy.
"What?" Zara plainly asked.
"What if a guy likes you and expresses his feelings for you? Are you gonna stay away from him?"
Zara did not feel anything strange about Satria's question, she thought it natural that Satria poured out her heart, they were friends.
"If a guy likes me and expresses his feelings then I'll tell him 'I already have a boyfriend'. I wouldn't stay away from him if he wanted to be my friend." replied Zara lightly.
Degs.. Satria's feelings are instantly shattered when Zara says she has a lover. 'What? A lover? Since when did he.' Satria said inwardly. With forced Satria to display a smile so that the girl does not suspect him, because now he already feels heartbroken.
"Do you have a lover?" satria asked to cover up her heartache.
"Yes, that's the guy I told you about yesterday." Zara was suddenly sad.
Satria increasingly jolted, he felt the world was smarting him. The fact that Zara has a lover plus her lover is the person she was told yesterday, it makes Satria feel in the wrong position. Instantly Satria undoes her intention to express her feelings to Zara.
"Oh jeez. Is that guy handsome?" without realizing Satria asked.
"For me he's the most handsome of all the men I've ever known." again Zara's words cut Satria even more.
"Well, and what I like most about him is.. He's my cousin."
Satria rounded her eyes, and samakin made her heart cut. I don't know how many slices, which he clearly felt his heart was completely broken hearing the reality that was thrown from the girl's mouth.
With a smile Satria forced to reply. "Well, you're very lucky."
"A moment I feel lucky but when yesterday's incident happened instantly my feelings for her began to wear off." Zara.
Satria flinching, Zara's words this time made it like she was getting light in the dark. Instantly the slices in his heart were healed. "Patience! Maybe that's the best." Satria patted slowly on Zara's shoulder.
The girl simply nodded sadly with her hand still held by Satria. Suddenly, Zara's tears flowed back.
"Eh, hey.. What's up?" Satria surprised.
"Either why if I remember it I feel very sad" said Zara Lirih.
Unable to see the girl crying made Satria immediately ventured to hug. Satria gently stroked Zara's shoulder to feel better. In Satria's warm embrace, Zara vented all her grief.
"What's wrong, if you think he just hurt you then forget about him. I will always be with you!" satria said she intended to console Zara's heart and also took the opportunity to replace the man she loved.
"I can't afford to forget it."
"You're capable of Zara!"
"But I don't know how to."
"If you really want to forget it, I'll help you." Satria let go of her embrace.
"How can you?" Zara wiped her tears.
"Open your heart for me!" satria said without hesitation.
Zara raised her eyebrows trying to digest the man's words. "You mean?"
"Effort to love me, that way you'll forget your lover."
"Are you kidding me?"
"No Zara! I'm being serious."
"But don't you like me? Because we're just best friends?"
"You're wrong, Zara!"
"You mean?"
Satria sighed to reveal the truth. "Since we first met, I've liked you."

"Hows it? Do you agree?" ask Satria.
"I.. Actually this.." Zara's sentence faltered, "Huh, this is Satria.. I still love Brother Ran, and it's hard for me to forget, he's been a part of my life."
"Difficult does not mean you can't. Do you still want to give a chance to the people who hurt you?" satria flat said.
"I'm sure he'll come and apologize to me. Or if not, I'll apologize to him." said Zara softly in a tone of doubt.
"Don't comfort yourself, Zara. What if he doesn't come to apologize at all?"
Zara took a breath, Satria said it was right. For a moment he began to consider the man's words.
"All right, here it is. If in the next three days there are no good signs of my relationship with Kak Ran, then you have the right to take his place. But if my relationship improves, you'll have to bury your feelings deeply."
"Whatever it is, I'll take it." Satria nodded for sure.

In his office Ran looks more lethargic than yesterday. His mind was filled with the girl he had been kicked out of yesterday. As a result, the girl left the apartment.
