Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter

Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter
Chapter 41 - Hunt - Part 1

Everyone inside the living room of Ayu's house was still in a state of shock and fear. The incident they had just experienced really made no sense to them.

They saw Munding who was previously standing holding a knife in his hand suddenly disappear and then followed by the three thugs surrounding him falling lifeless with various wounds on his body.

The two remaining thugs fell on the floor with trembling knees. The four uniformless Soldiers standing behind them also felt a cold sweat drenching their backs.

The boy was truly a fighting wolf.

Only that line swirled around inside the heads of those soldiers and they felt lucky not to be the victim of the attack earlier. They knew that in the presence of a Munding-class fighting wolf, their fate would not be much different from the three thugs now lying on the floor without lives.

“Karto!! You set us up huh?” with a reflex the First Soldier pulled the gun he slipped on his waist and pointed it at Karto's head.

Karto who was still frightened and looked not separated from the shock he had just experienced looking at the right gun pointed at his face and reflexively raised both hands.

“I don't know what you mean?” karto said with a trembling voice.

Karto deliberately invited the four soldiers just to keep watch and anticipate if there are Jumali friends who come to make a scene here. But he did not expect that the child***** would come and do all the absurd things that just happened.

“That boy was an elite fighter, he was a classmate of the commando members of the elite forces in our unit. And you should know that we will not be able to survive when faced with him,” said the First Warrior, he deliberately uses the term elite fighter because Karto is a civilian who does not need to know about the actual details.

“I really didn't know she was that good. As far as I know he was just a normal 1st year high school student,” denied Karto.

“Which student could kill three thugs in seconds? You crazy huh?” shouted the First Soldier while lowering his gun, he was sure that Karto really did not know about Munding's ability.

Ayu and Sutinah were silent. They saw everything clearly. Munding suddenly disappeared and followed by three thugs who died in seconds.

Suddenly fear began to hit them, because in the hearts of both of them, they knew fully that in the presence of Munding they had just seen, their lives meant nothing.

“Mas..” call Ayu slowly to Karto.

Karto turned towards Ayu who was still pale and frightened, “why?”

“Take fear. We have to finish off Munding. He can be a threat to our family at any time. Ayu does not want every night to sleep in fear,” Ayu replied.

“I know,” replied Karto while looking towards the First Soldier who was in front of him.

The First Warrior knew Karto's eyes.

“You want me to chase after him? Have you gone crazy? You want us to give up our lives for free?” answer the First Soldier.

“This is our best chance. It should be now that the boy ran out of power after his ‘mode fight’ earlier. If he can still get into that mode again, he should have taken our lives instead of choosing to escape,” said the Third Soldier slowly, he seemed to be the most intelligent warrior among the four.

The four soldiers were silent. They knew that what the First and Third Soldiers said was true. Munding's physical condition right now must have been the worst after that, but he must have had a teacher who was also a wolf fighter.

Can they face the revenge of a fighting wolf who lost his protege?

Karto looked at the worries of the four warriors who were in front of him. The only way to convince them to hunt down Munding was to increase the fee he gave them.

“If you are willing to hunt down the boy and finish him off, I will pay you ten times what you should have received. And you are also free ‘use’ Sutinah whenever you want for 1 month,” said Karto trying to convince the four soldiers.

The eyes of the four soldiers were shining and they glanced at Sutinah who was still sitting on the sofa with a deathly pale face.

“We split with a two-two group. Remember not to part. Even if the boy is now exhausted, he can finish us off easily if one-on-one,” said the First Soldier who was followed by a nod of his head by his three comrades.

Then quickly the four of them ran out of the front door that had been broken by Munding earlier.

And the hunt began.

Munding doesn't know where he is now. His whole body was tired and screaming in pain. His muscles felt squeezed and twisted by an invisible hand and made him grin in pain from time to time.

After leaving Ayu's house earlier, Munding ran to follow where his instincts showed direction. He did not look around her at all. He just ran and kept running with breathless breath and blood dripping back from the scar on his stomach.

Munding heard the sound of water rustling not far from where he was standing and he walked towards the sound. Arriving there, he found a small river that was no more than 1 meter wide.

Munding took the water with both hands and quickly drank the river water. He also tried to clean the wound on his stomach using the river water. The pain from the wound that washed away the water made him groan and clench his teeth.

Munding looked around. In the upper part of the small river, he saw there was a widened and calm watering part. He knew that it was a ‘kedung’, a deeper part of the river than its surroundings.

Munding walked slowly towards the river that was not far from him. Although he did not know the reason, but his instinct told him to go there. And he followed her without hesitation.

Arriving near the village, Munding sat on the edge of a rocky river. He leaned his exhausted body onto one of the large stones that was on the river bank.

His breathless breathing began to gradually reorganize. Munding tried to rest his exhausted body while enduring the pain from the wounds on his stomach.

Get in the water!!!!

Suddenly, Munding's instincts sensed a huge threat of danger coming from the direction he had come from. And his instinct told Munding to go into the water to avoid it.
