Chapter 175 - Personal Target (part 1)

A new 4WD car is on a rural road. In the car there are four people who, when viewed from the appearance, are very contrasting with each other.

They are a small team of Chaos containing 3 men and 1 woman. Behind the wheel, a handsome man looks about 30-40 years old. Korean drama fans must really like the typical handsome face typical of the country of ginseng owned by the driver. She is a member of Chaos who is from South Korea and is named Choi Hong Hi.

Next to Choi, sat an old man who was much older than the driver. He has a local face, aka a face with peculiarities owned by the Indonesian state. The bandage almost filled his hair and covered his head. He looked calm and looked out the window without feeling any burden in his mind. His left hand looks hollow and only became the back of his body that docked to the car window on his left. That man, Yasin.

Behind Yasin, a man over 40 years old and stout with enthusiasm looked at all the sights along the way. This is his sixth month in Indonesia, but until this moment, this Japanese man still admires the beauty of tropical nature in this country. It is very different from the country that has a sub-tropical climate. This burly, well-haired man was named Hirokazu Kanazawa. She is a member of the Chaos team who is from Japan, just like Hikari Makoto.

The only women in the car are the women who used to be with Yasin, Nia and Saenchai slaughtered a man under Barelang bridge, Batam because of a very trivial affair, a beautiful woman from the Philippines, Maria Celia.

“Still far?” ask Choi using Indonesian language that still seems broken.

“Live a little more,” replied Yasin without turning to the man.

Outside the car, the expanse of rice fields with yellowing rice was visible as far as the eye could see. The peasants wiggled the rope connected to the scarecrow and were given a can filled with stones, making a loud noise accompanied by a group of sparrows flying in fear with the sound of his low boisterous whistle, coupled with the movement of rice that swings because of the wind. It is like an orchestra playing a simple but beautiful symphony of nature.

Yasin just smiled, “that's why Japan came to colonize us decades ago,” he said slowly.

“Sumimasen,” replied Hiro while slightly bowing his head towards Yasin who was in front of him.

“Yasin, who is our target this time?” tanya Maria cuts off the conversation between Yasin and Hiro.

Unlike Hiro or Choi who can only use Indonesian language that is still not fluent, Maria is fluent in Indonesian. One of the causes may be due to the many similarities between pronunciation and vocabulary between Indonesian and Tagalog which became the language of Maria.

“It's personal target,” replied Yasin short.

“Personal target?” mary asked half in disbelief.

Chaos makes a rule that is actually very binding but also effective. Chaos gives every member the opportunity to request or make a request for a revenge mission related to the personal revenge of the Chaos members.

This mission is called a personal target.

To be able to become a member of Chaos, the minimum requirement was an initiation stage fighting wolf. So you could say, Chaos is an organization that contains a group of trained bloody assassins. Since they are murderers, it is only natural that they have enemies during their lifetime. Or they have experienced a defeat that makes them willing to pay whatever the price to be able to avenge it.

Chaos gives an opportunity to its members who have the desire to do so with the help of them. But, of course Chaos will not do that for free or without reward. They are not charitable or social humanitarian organizations.

Moreover, for someone with the ability as an initiation stage fighting wolf and still in need of assistance from Chaos, it could be imagined as great as what their enemy would become a personal target right?

That is why Chaos makes a very strict and binding rule for all its members who intend to submit their own personal revenge mission.

The first rule, all information relating to the target should be provided without cover-up. Chaos never asked for detailed information about their dispute or the cause of their grudge, but Chaos requires all information about the capabilities and data of the target as well as people who might be protecting and being around the target clearly.

This information is important to know how high the threat level of danger from the target's personal mission requested by each member, so that Chaos can decide how many members they will send to carry out the mission.

The second rule, based on the information obtained earlier, Chaos can find out the level of risk of the mission, so they can determine the height of ‘sacrifice’ that must be done by the member who submitted the mission.

For the mission put forward by their own members, Chaos was unwilling to measure it with nominal money. Money is not the most valuable thing to a Chaos-class organization. Each of the Chaos members who have long been unfortunate to cross and join them, can easily spend billions of dollars without winking.

Chaos asks for the reward of its members who put forward personal mission targets by tying them to keep working under Chaos control for several more missions. It looks trivial, but for Chaos himself, the biggest difficulty for them is that many of their members retire after having enough money to enjoy a luxurious life and as they wish.

For example, today, even though there are dozens of people registered as members of Chaos, but in actual, no more than 10 people who are still active to and fro receive and carry out missions. And of those ten people, somehow they stayed ‘gathering’ money before finally retiring and disappearing like the rest of the members.

Because of that, ‘binding’ Chaos members who put forward a personal mission target to carry out their revenge in exchange for the certainty that the member will remain with Chaos for several more missions is a win-win solution.
