A well-built middle-aged man was in a room that looked like a martial arts training ground. But he only noticed that the people in the middle of the room were attacking each other with their respective partners.
An aged man was seen shouting repeatedly giving instructions to people who were excited about doing the activity. Every now and then a kick or a punch will be thrown by an old man who always moves here and there among the people who are practicing it when he sees what he does not like and he has taught it to his protege.
Suddenly a call came in startling the middle-aged man who had noticed that his elite team members were being educated by Umar. Broto looked at Caller ID and slightly scrunched his forehead when he saw that the incoming call came from Afza, the best elite soldier he had ever had, as well as Umar's favorite student.
“Ya?” broto said as he raised the incoming call.
“Goodday Sir, this is Afza. There is an important business that I want to report, please permission to report,” Afza replied.
“Please,” replied Broto.
“A few days ago, while doing our first mission, Munding ..”
Afza then tells the chronology of all the events they experienced during the raid on Nia in her tiny house in a small village in the mountains. Broto listens attentively while occasionally asking questions when there are details that he feels are lacking once he understands.
After explaining for approximately 15 minutes, Broto was able to outline what had happened to Munding and the attitude given by the Red and White Team Responsible to the existence of Munding in his team.
“So what does Jae want now?” ask Broto to Afza.
“It .. Here Sir ..” Afza seemed hesitant when answering Broto's question.
Broto immediately understood that now Jaelani was near Afza, of course he would not make his own men in an uncomfortable position.
Quickly Broto cuts Afza's words, “Give his phone to Jaelani!!”
Afza who was next to Jaelani and Arya gave his phone to Jaelani with a little hesitation. Jaelani's face looked a little strange. He was fierce when he asked Afza to call Broto, but when now Broto was really on the phone connection that he was now holding, for some reason, the guts flew in the wind.
After a long time not hearing the sound of the phone he held, Broto slightly riled and snapped towards the mic part of his own phone, “Jae!!!!”
Jaelani was shocked and almost dropped the Afza phone from her hand.
Afza and Arya who saw the incident spontaneously laughed but a moment later, they both tried hard to hold their laughter as hard as they could until their bodies shook.
Jaelani looked at the two soldiers with angry eyes mixed in shame with a reddened face. This was truly something embarrassing for a commander as well as a high-ranking officer like him.
Jaelani then inhaled a lot of air and then tried to reduce the sense of surprise as well as his groin. A moment later he managed to control his emotions and in a calm voice answered the call on his phone.
“Good afternoon General,” said Jaelani in a slow and quiet voice.
“Happy Afternoon, Commissioner General,” Broto replied while giving emphasis to the rank that Jaelani does have.
“Don't be so General, just call me Commander, don't carry the rank of everything,” protests Jaelani, although everyone can feel the pride that emanates from his tone.
“Better I call you Jae only, I just use call ‘komandan’ to my boss,” replied Broto.
Jlebbbc. The first stab comes crashing into Jae's chest and makes him vomit blood.
“OK. It was just a general call. For me, it is up to the General to call me what,” replied Jaelani relented.
“Didn't I have decided to call you Jae? I don't care if you like it or not,” replied Broto fiercely.
Jaelani growled in his heart, “you see later the old General base of the Force, this is no longer the time of ABRI, where the TNI is higher than the Police. It's the millennial era. The police report directly to the President, while you report to the Coordinating Minister Polhukam. You are under us,” his grunts in hateful hearts.
But, Broto doesn't care at all about the contents of Jaelani's head, “So, why did you ask Afza to call me?” ask Broto.
Jaelani also regained her senses and quickly devised her tactics that she had planned from earlier. Plans to make Munding eliminated from the Red and White team. In fact, Munding never did one thing to Jaelani.
“Begini General,” said Jaelani in a voice that was back in order and calm.
“Munding is civilian. His training method as a fighting wolf is not at all well structured.”
“Different from the elite fighters we educate. This negotiation is totally unpredictable.”
“The last incident when Munding experienced berserk in his first mission could be an excellent example.”
“He has the potential to be an unexpected variable that instead of actually building but instead threatens the sustainability of the team.”
“Intinya, I consider that Munding is more dangerous than making a positive contribution to the Red and White team that we built,” said Jaelani ended his speech.
Broto who was listening to Jaelani's rant only nodded his head.
“So you think something different is not good?” ask Broto.
“Not all the different Generals, but who don't have the same standards as our elite troops. Discipline, following orders, and many other attributes that a soldier should have,” Jaelani said.
Broto was silent and seemed to think for a moment. Then he walked towards the middle of the field and when he reached the middle of his elite soldiers, Broto shouted, “Enchance!!!”
Huuuhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
The booming sound was deafening from the dozens of elite soldier members who were being trained by Umar. The scream that of course made Jaelani who heard it through a mobile phone was very surprised.
“Jae, do you know what that sound was?” broto asked as he walked back to the edge of the field.
“I don't know General,” replied Jaelani.
“That's the sound of my elite troops screaming. You don't need to know his first name in particular,” Broto said as he brought the phone he held to his lips.
“The Army has long been considered to have the most fighting wolves, and we admit that it is a fact. Earlier, being my elite warrior, I had over fifty initiated fighting wolves who were now training here with me,” Broto said, “and this is only a fraction of our total strength,”.
“For us, the military as a whole, Chaos is not a threat. That's all this time they always move around and do the action secretly like a mouse. If they manifestly undermine the sovereignty of our country, we will act, in full force.”
“Your Red and White Team, is just a tool for us to hone our elite soldiers who have the most potential. Remember, we have the best potential, not the strongest elite fighters we have. Because we expect they will be able to develop and get experience from this.”
“And Munding, is the bridge I'm building to hook the herd of Militants that are behind it. Its value is much more important than that of the Afza, Merah Putih, or Chaos.”
“If you dare to touch Munding, this is a personal matter between me and you.”
“Ngerti!!” Broto.
Jaelani simply fell silent without answering. A moment later, the phone connection was cut off leaving Jaelani who now looked a little confused.
