Back to Afza and Munding.
After the two of them took the horses and took out their wolf fighting intent, little by little Afza felt his body tremble, something slowly but surely slipped into his chest. A sensation he had not felt for a long time. Since he became a wolf.
A fear.
Afza clamped and looked gameless, for a moment, he stepped back without him noticing.
“This? Afraid? How can?” afza murmured slowly and looked confused.
Munding took a breath and released his intent. After that, he simply shook his head and turned his body to leave Afza. Afza who still looks confused and dissolved in his own mind as realized from his daydream when he saw Munding leave himself in the grassy field.
“Munding!! Wait!!” call Afza.
Munding stopped walking and turned his head towards the sweet girl. Shortly after, Afza was standing next to him with a bit of panting because of chasing Munding or maybe because of suppressing his fear that he experienced earlier?
Arriving next to Munding, Afza stopped and bent his body while breathing. A while later, he raised his head and glared at Munding.
“Sparing we haven't started yet, why are you leaving?” sulk Afza with an angry expression.
“Sparing? I can smell your fear from a distance, what else should we do? You lost before we even started fighting,” Munding replied softly.
Afza's face was immediately reddish upon hearing Munding's reply. He couldn't argue with that, because that's exactly what happened. Afza lowered his head and took a deep breath, perhaps to cover up his embarrassment or to be thinking of rebuttal to Munding's accusations.
Before long, Afza stood up straight and raised his face towards Munding, “Oke. I admit, I did feel intimidated by your intentions, but it was because you cheated. You let out the intent when I wasn't ready,” refuted Afza with a face full of confidence.
“Oooo. So you think it's like that?” munding replied with a knotty smile, for some reason, he felt a little amused at the manner of this female warrior in front of him.
Afza nodded his head confidently in response to Munding's question just now. Munding just smiled looking at her.
For a moment, Munding also remembered Dewi, the soldier from the Air Force who was used as a benchmark for the Red and White team, then a thought appeared in Munding's head, Munding, “Are all the female warriors who managed to become part of the elite caste of the highest military fighters all over-competitive like them?” munding murmured in the heart. And suddenly, Munding felt sorry for the future husbands of those women.
“If you think it is like that, well, let's repeat once again,” said Munding while standing upright without taking the horses.
Afza instantly turned tense and took a step back. He then mounted his horses and pulled out his fighting wolf intent. Munding only stands upright with the body relaxed and both hands are at the side of the body. He did not feel threatened at all by the intent emitted by the Afza.
There is something that feels less than the intent released by Afza, he said, and probably also by all the elite fighters from the military who were on the Red and White team and were sensed by Munding when they met yesterday in the meeting room of the first floor of their headquarters.
Munding looked towards Afza who looked tense and prepared with all his energy, “Siap?” ask Munding short.
Afza hesitantly nodded his head in response. This time is not as good and confident as a moment ago.
Munding smiled and took out his fighting wolf intent. Afza was caught instantly when the Munding intent savagely lunged at him who had been on alert and was even ready with his own horses and intentions.
Afza seemed to feel transformed into a rabbit who was running around in a small meadow on this hill and he knew that there was an eagle flying up there looking at him and ready to swoop to stick his claws.
Afza tried to raise his face and stared intently at Munding who was still calmly standing in front of Afza, “I am not a prey, I am also a predator. I've been out of those shackles ever since I started out as a fighting wolf,” Afza yelled in his head, but the sound that came out of his mouth was the sound of an angry hiss and an increasingly sharp gaze towards Munding.
Hhhhhhhhh.
Little by little, the pressure felt by Afza began to decrease, his knees that had been shaking violently also began to calm down a little. But Afza had not yet breathed a sigh of relief because he managed to suppress the influence of the Munding intent completely, the man who stood quietly in front of him suddenly changed his face and stared intently at Afza.
Right then, all the resistance that Afza had put up before was like flying in vain and he immediately sat limp on the grass with his body trembling in fear.
“How is it possible? We are both wolf fighters of the initiation stage, why am I like this?” afza muttered softly as she lowered her head towards the bottom.
Munding took a deep breath and fell silent.
The atmosphere became a little awkward with Munding who was still standing still and Afza who was sitting on the grass with a half-crawl position, as if he was respecting Munding.
Munding then crouched forward, whatever the story, Afza was Mr. Broto's confidant. He would not bear to see the sweet girl dissolve in her defeat.
“You are confused huh?” ask Munding quietly.
Afza looks still engrossed with his own thoughts and keep his head down. But, before long he lifted his head and stared resignedly at Munding. Maybe Afza could shamelessly say that the first one was just a coincidence because he was not ready when Munding attacked him, but the second time, he said, Afza had prepared as much as possible and still had to swallow defeat.
“Kok can?” ask Afza slowly.
Munding, who had been squatting in front of Afza, now put his ass on the grass and sat cross-legged in front of Afza who was still in his strange position. Seeing the eyes of Munding who saw him with a strange look, Afza immediately realized the pose of his body that is not appropriate.
Shortly thereafter, the two of them were already sitting cross-legged and facing each other on the grass in the field accompanied by a gust of fresh air in the morning and the sun that was still half-heartedly pouring its rays.
“Kok can?” ask Afza again for the second time after they sit across.
