Suprapto and his friends fell silent.
Umar circulated his gaze to everyone in the room before finally resuming his briefing, “they we call as fighting wolves, in contrast to ordinary wolves that contain heavyweight criminals. Wolves fighters are more dangerous.”
“Ordinary wolves only have the mental state to prey on their victims without the ability to support it. While fighting wolves are trained and educated to be killing machines."
"They can finish an ordinary person without basic martial arts in seconds or minutes.”
“The murderous psychopaths, those ordinary wolves, cannot control their intentions as a predator. You may be more familiar with the term aura for what we call intent."
"That's why when you come face to face with killers sometimes you feel scared for no reason that you understand.”
“Wolf fighters are different, they are trained to hide their aura. In ordinary conditions, they are like ordinary people, but when needed, they will turn into an effective and efficient killing machine.”
Umar was silent for a moment waiting for the reaction of the people before him.
“That's an overview of wolves, next is the most important information for you to know,” continued Umar.
“For ordinary wolves, it is your duty to catch them, they do not have a dangerous level of threat for you.”
“For a fighting wolf, they are divided into two. Lone wolf, lone wolf, and wolf pack, wolf pack. For lone wolves, you are not recommended to face them alone."
"Usahakan use a trained team with complete weaponry. That way there will be a chance you can disable it.”
“For a pack of wolf fighters, never engaged at any cost, never confront them. Just one solution. Run.”
“I mean Father, out there, there are a bunch of people who are trained to kill and roam freely?” asked one of Suprapto's comrades in a quivering voice.
Umar squinted his eyes at Suprapto's friend who asked, “is this fact difficult for you to accept?”
“They not only exist, but in large numbers and are divided into many separate herds."
"Military education, whatever the name, karate, silat, taekwondo and others. When they enter the highest level of their flow, they are already categorized as fighting wolves.”
“Gangster, mafia and even motorcycle gangs, each group has an elite group of fighters who are also nominated as wolf fighters. But their number is not as much as from the herd of martialists.”
“And the most is a religious-based group,” Umar stopped for a while.
“The respective religious groups also train their elite teams, but of course they do not use the term wolf."
"The biggest one is of course from the Islamic religious faction.” Umar said.
“They have a long history for this problem. Even before our country was established. Even during the struggle for independence, they had an army separate from our command base.”
“Until now they continue the old tradition of training their fighting wolves.”
“But, we have never seen their existence at all,” replied a police officer candidate who knows.
“Because their existence is covered by the government. To avoid the panic of the general public. Let alone the common people, you would-be police officers could not accept this fact,” Umar replied.
“That's all the battlefields of wolf fighters between religious groups. Mujahideen, Black Bats and many other names they use. But the point is one, they're herds of trained fighting wolves. And they stopped fighting when the government intervened.”
“Then why is the government silent? Shouldn't we step in to eradicate them?”
“Because the Government can use them in times of need,” replied Umar short.
“And you don't need to be that strong. The largest herd of fighting wolves is still owned by the Government."
"We-we're this. Elite troops of various units."
"But remember my message earlier. Never look for trouble with a pack of wolf fighters.”
“Only a pack of fighting wolves can face off against other herds. You guys, won't have a chance to survive in front of them.”
Umar took a breath before continuing, Last “, I will demonstrate the aura possessed by an initiated fighting wolf, that means a fighting wolf that really once killed with both hands.”
Suprapto and his comrades fell silent and unblinkingly watched the man in military clothes and claimed to be named Umar. Umar himself closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
Umar then opened his eyes and suddenly, all the prospective police officers in the room felt the pressure coming from Umar.
There was something radiating from the direction of Umar that made them feel an overwhelming fear.
They felt as if they were dealing with a ferocious beast, a tiger, that was ready to pounce on them. Some of Suprapto's comrades even fainted unconscious. Others were peeing in their pants.
Suprapto himself felt his knees tremble and he wanted to escape out of the room as soon as possible. He felt like a sheep facing its prey.
Suprapto always felt that he was a brave man. He often fought when he was in school and even had a name in his native place.
But right now, in front of Umar, he was nothing. No more than a sheep in front of a wolf.
And suddenly the pressure disappeared from Umar's body. Suprapto fell down on all fours to the floor. His breathing was breathless and sweat soaked his entire body.
Umar smiled and left the room.

“I hope the boy is not a fighting wolf in his training,” Suprapto muttered to himself.
Suprapto then called one of his men and asked him to check the identity of the old man whom Saud had attacked. For Suprapto, finding out the identity of someone in Sukolilo is not a difficult matter. It's just a small town in the middle of nowhere.
Soon enough, Suprapto's members returned with a piece of print out about the person Suprapto wanted. Suprapto then read the identity and background of the person written on the paper.
“Ahmad Hanbali, one wife, one child, one adopted child. Jebolan is one of the oldest ponpes in Pasuruan that has been established decades before Indonesia's independence."
"Maybe it's time I visit him to RSUD,” Suprapto muttered after reading the paper in his hand.
