Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter

Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter
Chapter 209 - The Play

A loud alarm was heard that night when Munding was still asleep. There's no siren in this base because it's not a prison. But each room is equipped with a small device to tell if something emergency is happening.

Munding then stood up and put on his clothes.

He walked out to the door and when he opened it, he saw that a sweet face was already standing there waiting for him. Munding smiled mischievously when he saw the girl's face.

“Why?” asked Afza when he saw the mischievous smile of Munding.

“Beautiful girl if you sleep drooling,” whispered Munding slowly, “shown first it ilernya.”

Afza's face instantly flushed red upon hearing Munding's words, he quickly turned around using the back of his hand to rub the edges of his lips. A moment later he turned his body again towards Munding but this time he lowered his head.

Shame, but happy. Ashamed of Munding's taunts, happy for his praise.

“Why is there an alarm at midnight like this? This is the first time right?” asked Munding as he walked quickly across to the control center on the first floor.

Afza who walked next to Munding replied in a serious tone, “Nia escape.”

Munding stopped his move.

“Nia escape?” repeat Munding again with a tone asking for confirmation.

Afza nodded his head.

“How is it possible? He's just a kawening fighter. There were two guards of the same stage outside his room. Not to mention every time there is always one of us on picket duty in the control room,” said Munding while returning to step foot and look to think deeply.

“Now whose picket rations?” ask Munding later.

“Sunarya,” Afza answers short and flat.

“Ooooo,” Munding just nodded his head and he instantly understood what was happening.

Soon they both arrived at the meeting room on the first floor. All the Red and White team members were even and were there. Even Commander Jae was present as well. He only glanced at Munding for a moment then threw his face away.

Munding and Afza were the last personnel to come into this room.

“Personnel is now complete, we will start this emergency meeting,” said Arya who is indeed the unofficial leader of this team.

Commander Jae just stood up with his hands folded in front of his chest without commenting anything. The rest of the Red and White team members listened to Arya's words carefully. Maybe only the meeting was not so enthusiastic about this meeting.

“The first and most important prisoner for us managed to escape from this place half an hour ago. We've sent two hunting squads to chase him now. While the core personnel of the Merah Putih team will be mobilized after we agree with the actions we will take,”, Arya said starting their emergency briefing.

“He was just awakening, two teams of hunters containing 20 wolf fighters crew can certainly catch it in a matter of hours,” chirped Rony.

“What do you mean?” rony said with a riled tone towards Ardian.

“Nia is a former member of the elite police team. At least he must have trained for guerrilla tactics and survival right?” reply Ardian again, “if he can be arrested as quickly and easily, what is the content of the training that you have been giving to your elite team?”

Rony was silent and did not answer. Mia, Ridwan, and Eiren who were also from the police also felt a little entangled with Ardian's words.

Rony may only be in the D0 category which means he is level with the Goddess who is also from AU, so it is likely that he does not dare to fight Ardian in a one-on-one duel, but Mia and Ridwan are D+ fighters, just like Ardian. They are certainly not daunted by Ardian's bluff.

“Hei what do you mean?” said Mia.

“I didn't mean anything, but Rony himself said it,” replied Ardian.

“He did say that, but we all know what the quality of our elite team is like. We are no longer under you,” welcome Ridwan.

“Ooooo. So is that right? You guys are getting big heads now?” anggie says.

Munding just watched everything in silence and glanced at Arya from earlier. He feels something is strange here. At every meeting or briefing, when there is a little friction that carries the name of the institution, Arya will quickly mollify and pass it, but this time she seems to just stay quiet and let it happen.

Then Munding looked at three other military personnel, Anggie, Ardian, and Dewi. Munding then realized that all this had been arranged by team members from the military. They deliberately triggered a dispute in this meeting.

Munding then looked back at Arya and at that time they both looked in the eye, there was a look of apology and understanding there. Munding just smiled and nodded his head.

Arya then gave a small smile for a moment and then the smile disappeared again and turned into a flat and serious face.

“There is indeed a drama training during elite military team training? Their acting is all good at once,” muttered Munding in heart.

The faces of the four team members from the police immediately turned red and they clenched their jaws when they heard Anggie's last comment. Anggie just got into the D-category, he's nobody on the team. How dare he comment like that.

“Why don't you like ya?” ask Anggie again.

Munding laughed inwardly, knowing that although Anggie might be the weakest in the team, but his tongue-tied ability and ability to make the ears and faces of others hot, no one can beat that girl.

“You!!!” ridwan snapped while standing up from his chair.

“What ‘you-you’? Because I'm the weakest, I can't talk?” anggie said as she raised her face with a defiant expression towards Ridwan.

Not yet Ridwan reply to Anggie's words, the girl continued her words again, “You feel the most great huh? Then why are you asking for our help for this mission? Create your own Red and White team or your own team. What are we doing here? You guys are great?”

“And again, do you guys have the biggest service? Munding who managed to catch Nia. He has not commented anything about the escape of Nia, but you already feel funny and pretentious,” added Anggie again which makes the four interlocutors more reddish.

Munding just complains inwardly, “it's up to you to make a play like what, but why should I be dragged around too?”
