Chapter 122 - Hoax

Amel hugged Munding who fell in the courtyard of Joseph's house covered with small natural stones and spread evenly. Natural rocks are the way in and out.

At times Amel would drink water from his bottle and wipe the sweat or a little blood still dripping from Munding's lips. Munding wanted to refuse Amel's treatment but the condition of his body did not allow him to do that.

Munding himself was also astonished, what made him endure to stay sober until this very second. In the past during a fight at Citra's house, Munding was immediately unconscious after he finished his fight.

But now, even though his entire body was screaming in pain and fatigue, he still regained his senses. And that's what makes Munding go awry. Because right now Munding is facing a much more difficult problem than when he fought against Yasin just now.

And that problem is called Amel.

Amel is increasingly brave to make physical contact with Munding who is drained of stamina. Amel, who initially wiped the sweat and cleaned Munding's face from a little bloodstain there, now uses his fingers to stroke Munding's face.

Munding tries to dodge but quickly Amel advances and kisses Munding's friendly lips. Amel aggressively pulverized Munding's lips which were slightly mixed with salty and rancid taste from the rest of the blood that had been there. But Amel doesn't care.

After a few seconds, Amel released his kiss from Munding's lips, "Munding, Amel love you. Even though Amel knows that you're married. But at least, Amel tried to be honest with Amel's own feelings."

"Amel did not know what Amel would feel like. Will it change or not? But at least for now, you're the only man in Amel's heart" whispered Amel quietly as he hugged Munding again.

Munding was silent and did not know what to do.

Minutes later, Munding was rescued by the boisterous sounds of several motor vehicles suddenly filling their surroundings. Dozens of tactical-clad personnel with long-barreled guns were seen running into Joseph's house and surrounding Munding and Amel.

"Amel?" a loud voice rang out among the boisterous bustling military personnel who suddenly filled this place.

Amel then glanced at the owner of the voice and found his Papa standing with two familiar faces, Umar and Laras. Umar moved quickly then was already standing near Munding and Amel a moment later. His hands stretched out toward Munding who was still lying on the ground.

Munding who closed his eyes and suddenly felt a hand outstretched toward his body quickly caught the hand and pressed it firmly reflexively.

"Aduuhhhhhh," cried Umar when his hand was suddenly grasped by Munding.

"What do you want, Old Man?" asked Munding with a trembling and shrill voice.

Old Man scrunched his forehead because of the pain he felt on his wrist, "less you're Ingusan Boy, I want to help you but like this is your reply?" umar snapped towards Munding who was still half lying down and leaned towards the car behind him.

"No need, let me get enough rest and I'll recover soon" Munding argued.

"Medical!!" broto shouted with a smile when he saw the behavior of the two of them.

Amel let go of his Papa's embrace and walked toward Munding. Shortly after, the medical team came and put Munding on a stretcher and prepared to take him to an ambulance belonging to the military team.

Amel was seen following the military nurses towards their ambulance.

Amel turned his head towards his Papa and shouted back, "Amel wants to nemenin Munding Pa," Amel replied as he waved at Broto and then entered the ambulance carrying Munding.

The barrel looks to throw its face to the side and try to hold back the laughter.

Umar just pretended to cough for a while, "Broto, that's what girls are like. When they grow up, they will always prefer their beloved man over their Papa. Be patient and try to get used to this," Umar said with a laugh and left Broto who still looks shocked to see Amel disappear with the ambulance that brought Munding.

An officer who was the commander of the operation this time suddenly came and reported to Broto and woke Broto up from his nightmare.

"Maybe you have to see for yourself what's going on inside the house" the officer said slowly.

Broto then entered the house following the officer along with Umar and Laras. Soon they reached the living room where Joseph and his family were still bound by Nia and Yasin.

"Call Ambar, get him to coordinate with the police. We need to get them involved in the investigation of this incident. I don't want us to fight because of a misunderstanding" Broto said firmly towards the officer who had brought him here and then immediately carried out Broto's orders.

Soon, many cars came to Joseph's house. Both from the military and from the police, including Santi and his commander, because the first person Ambar contacted was of course Santi. Ambar wants Santi to at least receive a little credit for his role in this mission.

The TKP was also performed at the place where Joseph died. A combined, private interrogation was also carried out against Joseph's wife and daughter. A loud slap was felt by the police officials that day, after they learned the barrage of facts from all the events that occurred.

"A high-ranking official in the Police Department fell victim to a robbery in his own home while on leave and on vacation accompanying his family."

That was the headline in some local media in the city of Semarang that day, complete with some photos of Joseph's body being found bound. The people were immediately stunned by that reality. If a police officer can become a victim of robbery, what else is a layman like them?

Broto took a deep breath after everything was over, most importantly for him, Amel survived, even though Joseph ended up not as he had planned.

After that Broto ordered his troops to disperse and return to their headquarters. Shortly afterwards, Broto, Umar, Laras and Ambar were in a car heading to the hospital which was addressed by the ambulance carrying Munding earlier.

"If Munding had not insisted on chasing after Amel's car, it might not have been just Joseph's body we found this afternoon" Ambar chanted quietly in the slightly quiet car.

Three heads simultaneously turned towards Ambar with a look that wanted to swallow Ambar raw without chewing it. And all three of them are fighting wolves. Ambar reflexively tightened his thighs and held back the pee that suddenly just urged wanting to get out there due to the fear from the gazes of the three people.

"Am I wrong?" lamented Ambar in heart and hope that their car will arrive at the destination soon.
