Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter
Chapter 21 - Certainty Part 1

Suprapto parked his car in the parking lot of RSUD Sukolilo. He then walked towards the information section that was right near the entrance of RSUD.

“Good day,” Suprapto told one of the officers at the information desk.

“Good day Sir, can we help you?”

“I want to visit a patient on behalf of Ahmad Hanbali. If you may know, where is he treated?” Suprapto.

The nurse then opened the book on her front desk. Searching briefly in the list of patients who were there, then answered Suprapto politely, “Pak Ahmad was treated in Room 207 Pak. You can go straight to the right and then naek to the second floor through the stairs. Sorry, the elevator is only for patients.”

“Thank you Ma'am,” replied Suprapto.

Shortly thereafter Suprapto was standing in front of the inpatient room located on the second floor of RSUD Sukolilo. In front of the room is the room number 207.

“Assalamualaikum,” Suprapto said hello from outside.

“Waalaikumsalam, just go in,” heard the answer from inside.

Suprapto then entered the room. There were two beds of patients inside but only one was occupied. Suprapto saw a middle-aged man who was being fed by a woman wearing a hijab.

The man's head was still wrapped in bandages, but he looked happy and enjoyed his wife's mouthful while sometimes laughing and joking.

Portrait of a happy little family.

Ms. Nyai glanced at Suprapto who had just entered the room and when she found out that the guest who this time visited her husband was a police officer in full uniform, ma'am Nyai's countenance turned somewhat anxious.

Pak Yai held the hand of Bu Nyai who slightly trembled, “Buk, take Mr tea anget ya?” said Mr. Yai.

Ms. Nyai understood what her husband meant, then she stood up, nodded briefly at Suprapto and walked out of the room.

“Father Ahmad Hanbali, or maybe it's better if I call Mr. Yai. My name is Suprapto. I served in the Sukolilo Police Department, coincidentally being handed the responsibility of Kapolsek for the time being. There is something I want to ask Mr. Yai, if you don't mind,” Suprapto said in a polite tone.

Mr. Yai smiled, as expected, the officer standing in front of him turned out to be the Police Chief, that means, he is the highest-ranking police officer in Sukolilo, but it raises a question mark. Why would a cop with such an important position come looking for him?

“Please Mr. Suprapto, I will be happy to help,” replied Mr. Yai with a smile.

“A few nights ago, there was a fight in the Sukolilo market. According to eyewitnesses, a young man in his teens came and deliberately challenged the citizens who happened to be gathering there.”

“At that time there were seven people, this young man beat them alone. Of the seven residents two were seriously injured, two were lightly injured and three were traumatized.”

“I'm sorry Mr. Suprapto, I don't see any connection to the fight with me. As you know, I have been treated in this hospital even before the incident,” cut Pak Yai.

“I know it was Mr. Yai, but one of the seriously injured residents was someone who had hit you on the head with a bottle during the day. According to Pak Yai is this just a coincidence?” ask Suprapto.

Pak Yai was silent. His mind worked quickly. Within a few seconds, he knew that the young man was most likely his own adopted son, the Munding.

That's why the police followed his trail all the way here. But Mr. Yai was also inexhaustible, for a fight-class case like this, should a Police Chief intervene alone?

“In my opinion personally, not necessarily also this is related to me Mr. Suprapto. I'm also a bit wondering, the citizen you told me about as a victim was the same person who hit me in the head. What kind of citizen do you think would do such an act?” said Mr. Yai.

Before Suprapto could answer, Mr. Yai continued his words, “we are all adults and knowledgeable, do not have to be convoluted to cover the facts, I think the seven people are thugs right? And as a thug, it was only natural that they had many enemies. Therefore from the beginning I always wondered, what reason brought Mr Suprapto to visit me?”

Suprapto. Indeed, the reason he said earlier was impressed. Not necessarily the perpetrators of the attack on the Saud group have something to do with Mr. Yai. But one thing made him sure. The confession of Badrun and two of his friends.

Suprapto is now suffering from a dilemma. To create a trained fighting wolf, another combat wolf is needed. If the boy named ‘Kebo’ is a fighting wolf, it means that Pak Yai who is in front of him is certainly the same. And with the background of Pak Yai boarding school, it means he has a herd.

Suprapto again remembered the words of Umar, “do not ever find trouble with a herd of wolf fighters.”
