Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter

Munding - Legend of the Wolf Fighter
Chapter 3 - Past Part 1

Nurul came in throngs with a bag of plastic ice cubes and immediately gave it to his father.

Mr. Yai took the ice and looked for a hammer and broke it in small pieces.

“Sini!” mr. Yai told Munding.

Pak Yai then compressed Munding's bruised body parts with ice cubes. Negotiate squirming between cold, ticklish and pain. But fortunately after being compressed the pain is somewhat reduced.

“If you do not go home, you are sought after by your father?” ask Pak Yai to Munding after finishing compressing the bruises on Munding's body.

“Munding already has no Father, Mr. Yai,” replied Munding slowly.

“Oooooooo,” somehow, Pak Yai's tone of voice became softer.

“Yes if so. You sleep in Mushola there! Later let Nurul who nganter sarong for blanket,” orders Pak Yai.

Munding limped to the mosque near Pak Yai's house and entered it. Although this mushola looks small, but the inner floor has been coated with a thick carpet patterned prayer mats. Pretty angel for bedding.

Munding laid his body on the carpet in the mosque. His eyes began to shut and his tired body delivered him to sleep in just a matter of minutes.

“Massss. Massss Mundinggg,” there is an audible voice calling the name Munding.

Munding opened his eyes and found himself asleep in a strange place. But a moment later he came to his senses and remembered everything. He's staying at Pak Yai's house.

“Mas? Already up to Mas?” tanya Nurul, Pak Yai's little girl.

Munding nodded his head while blinking his eyes, trying to eliminate the sleepiness that had made him sleep.

“Ni blanket. New also fall, how can you directly sleep so to Mas?” nurul protest.

“Still Yes Dek Nurul,” said Munding with a smile.

Nurul replied with a smile, then she ran back inside Pak Yai's house.

Munding wore a blanket delivered by Nurul and his body became warmer and lighter. Munding just remembered that from earlier he only wore a sarong. His shirt and pants were still drenched in the clothes of Mr. Yai earlier.

Before long Munding had already fallen asleep to dreamland.

Little Munding was accompanying his father, Wage, in the rice field. Accompanying his Father in the rice fields is the happiest thing for small Munding who is still in 4th grade SD. Munding is happy to see his Father who is hoeing, weeding and caring for rice in his rice fields.

Shortly afterwards, a group of young children the age of Munding passed nearby who were engrossed in seeing Wage weeding the grass in the rice field.

“Nding, maen marbles yuk?” bring one of the kids.

“Ngak ah. I don't have marbles,” Munding replied as he shook his head with a somewhat sad look.

Actually Munding also wanted to play marbles like other children of his age, but he never got pocket money from his father. Munding never complained about it.

Wage who saw the conversation between Munding and his friend smiled.

“Bapak had stopped by Kokoh for a while, buy one bag Le marbles. I put it in my bottom closet. Forgot to give to you,” cried Wage from where he stood.

Wage only smiled as he nodded towards Munding.

“Where do you want maen? I'll take the marbles first, okay? Later I will follow you,” said Munding while standing.

“We wait in front of Edi house huh?” said one of the children.

Munding as fast as lightning ran home. When Munding got home, without a second thought, Munding went straight into his father's room. He opened the cupboard and then looked around for a bag of marbles his Father had bought.

Munding's body went entirely into the closet because after a few minutes of searching, he did not find any marbles there.

And when Munding finally found 10 marbles wrapped in a small transparent plastic bag, Munding was like finding the most valuable treasure in the world.

Munding was very happy at that time.

Brakkkkk.

Suddenly the sound of the door slamming from outside the closet. Munding's small body which from the beginning was already in the closet was shocked to hear the voice. Subconsciously, Munding sat curled up in the closet and did not dare to come out.

At that time, Munding accidentally saw an event that would change his entire life path.

Munding's mother, Sutinah, was in the arms of a man. Munding knows the man. He was the village chief, Karto Sentono.

*Scene.

Sutinah picked up the towel from the hanger then with a pouty lip she opened the room and walked towards the bathroom that was behind the house.

Munding who was hiding inside the closet felt his entire body stiff and unable to move. Munding, the village boy who just sat in 4th grade SD, did not understand what had just happened a few minutes ago.

But somehow Munding's chest feels tight and sore. Munding had never felt this kind of feeling before. Without knowing the reason, Munding felt at that time he was eager to take the knife in the kitchen and thrust it into Karto's chest.

Munding firmly grasped the plastic bag containing the ten marbles with his palm. Munding felt an overwhelming fear within him. A fear he had never felt before.

Little Munding is not afraid that he will be caught by Karto or his mother. No, not at all.

Munding was afraid that at that time he could not resist the urge that appeared suddenly and tried to control himself. The sudden urge yelled and told him to stick a knife into Karto's chest.

Kill it!!

Kill it!!

A loud shout that screamed in Munding's head and filled his brain contents, which appeared together with a feeling of tightness and pain in his chest. The little Munding gasped for a long breath in the closet. He tried to suppress the urge as much as possible.

And suddenly Munding remembered the face of his Father who was full of sweat and was working diligently in the fields. The face of his Father who laughed brightly when he saw the pad yellowed and ready to be harvested.

His Father's face was ready to carry Munding on his shoulders, despite being tired of working all day.
