The Truth Daniel Didn't Know

Prabu Dewangga came out of his study, followed by Naja who continued to follow behind him. That day Prabu deliberately asked Naja to be with him all day, considering that Naja's work never once failed. Moreover, the person they will meet that day is a former employer of Naja, so that a little bit of Naja knows how to deal with Daniel if bad things are forced to happen.

Naja also immediately drove his car at medium speed, splitting the busy city street X with various vehicles passing by. Every now and then he glanced through the glass in front of him, looking at the employer who was now sitting in the passenger seat staring outwards with a very pushy gaze.

"Why are you doing something like this, son?" prabu murmur in the heart.

There was indeed a longing that rose from his deepest heart, knowing that Daniel was the son of Aghata, a German woman who had been present in his life. But knowing how hard Daniel's attempt to destroy and take over his company, makes Prabu think hard about the motives that made Daniel do it all. Pure competition between employers? Or related to their past?

"Huhhh," Prabu let out a rough breath, trying to guess what Daniel's reaction was like when she met him.

Daniel inserts a photo sheet he holds, as soon as Johan knocks on the door and enters to meet him. With steady steps and a face that always looked as flat as ever, Johan walked up to his master.

"What made you dare to enter this place, Jo? Didn't I tell you, I want to be alone?" Daniel warned Johan in an annoyed tone.

"Sorry, Sir. But below is Prabu Dewangga. He insisted that he wanted to meet you" Johan said hesitantly.

Daniel was quite surprised to hear who was coming. All this time he only saw the man he hated from a photo, online media or TV broadcasts that reported it. In any event, Daniel has never met directly with a Prabu Dewangga, ever, the man who had made Daniel grow up to be a man full of obsession to take revenge for all his suffering and struggles with his mother all along.

"Ha-ha-ha. Long live apparently him? Is that as scared as he is with me until a Prabu Dewangga, the most successful businessman in this country willing to humble himself just to meet me? Get him in, Jo! Let's see what he will say" Daniel gave the command with all the turbulent taste in his heart. He never thought that it would be this fast to meet him.

Shortly after Daniel gets ready and sits on a long sofa set in the middle of the room, Johan walks in with a middle-aged man who still looks very handsome despite his young age.

Prabu Dewangga walked with dignity, following where Johan directed him. He asks Naja to wait outside and watch, if at any time Prabu needs him.

"Welcome, Mr. Prabu Dewangga. It is a great honor for me to receive you in my office which is certainly not as big as your company" Daniel stood up and extended his hand, before finally allowing Prabu to sit on the sofa in front of him.

"You're overreacting, Mr. Daniel. I'm flattered by your praise" said Prabu, trying as calmly as possible to face a child who has been sorely missed.

For a moment, they were silent. The two looked at each other, trying to dive into the depths of a man's eyes before him with their own feelings.

"What is it that Mr Prabu would visit my office personally?" daniel asked trying to suppress his voice as quietly as possible.

"I'm just a parent enjoying retirement, Mr. Daniel. It's worth meeting and talking to successful entrepreneurs like you, even at a very young age. Surely both of your parents are very proud to have a son as great as you," Prabu still lengthened his bases, trying to figure out the reaction after reaction Daniel showed him. Prabu deliberately alludes to parents' problems to provoke Daniel's reaction to his remarks.

"Don't mince words with me, sir. I know you met me on purpose because there's something you want to talk about" Daniel directed his gaze in all directions, to cover up his anger which he's been enduring for so long. He was not sure that Prabu Dewangga already knew that he was the son of Aghata, so he decided to open everything after the Dewangga Group had been in his grasp.

"There really is nothing important, Mr. Daniel. I just want to visit and meet in person with people who have managed to own 30 percent of Dewangga Group shares with such a fast time. I'm really amazed at your greatness. Excuse me," Prabu stood up and stretched out his hand and immediately came out leaving Daniel who was getting furious.

After Prabu Dewangga left the room, Daniel could no longer hold back the anger that had been raging in his chest. He throws whatever is in front of him, to channel the emotions he has been holding back.

"The parents are not responsible. You don't even recognize the kid you've been suffering for decades, huh?" the curse of Daniel is still with his hands active to make everything on the table scattered on the floor.

"Look! I will take my revenge soon. I will make you suffer and your family suffer. You'll feel how painful it is to see your beloved child crumble and have nothing" Daniel's anger grew.

Prabu Dewangga immediately got into the car once out of Daniel's office. He began to be able to feel what was the motive of everything that Daniel had done to him so far.

"Track the whereabouts of a woman named Aghata Adeline," Prabu ordered, to Naja who is currently focusing on driving his car from behind the wheel.

"Well, sir," Naja obeyed his master's orders without asking anything.

"I'm sorry for reneging on my promise to you, Aghata. But there's no other way I can prevent the crazy things your son would do, other than an explanation of the past events that once existed between us. Unfortunately, the only person who can do it is only you" Prabu murmured inwardly.

The fact that Daniel did not know was that Prabu was out of their lives not by his will. It was his mother who decided to leave Prabu who at that time already had children and wives.

Actually it is an easy thing for a Prabu Dewangga to look for Aghata Adeline from the past. But he doesn't want to. It was Aghata's own request that made him promise not to seek his whereabouts anymore. And that decision Prabu respects to date.

What made Aghata decide to leave?
