"My future is you, Mey. Until whenever I'll keep waiting for you," now Ega grabbed Meysie's hand, and kissed the back of her hand many times.

"But I can't, Bang," Meysie pulled her hand violently.

"But why? try it first, Mey. Forget about the man and learn to love me," Ega tried to grab Meysie's hand back and clasped it tightly.

"The problem isn't just that, Bang," Meysie's great-grandson.

"Then?" ask Ega not understand.

"I've met the friend and the man you love. I asked him to forgive you and retract his report, with a guarantee that you would no longer harass him" Ega explained excitedly.

"Then?" ask Meysie impatiently.

"He initially refused. He was afraid that you would still continue to hurt his wife," Ega let out a long sigh.

"Continue?"

"It was his wife who convinced him and made Ryan agree to my request" Ega replied, stroking his wife's head fondly.

Meysie could not hide her surprise. He really did not think that what everyone said about the goodness of Rani was indeed true. There is a speck of regret that now appears to dominate his heart, realizing how much Rani forgives his mistakes.

"Because of his wife's persuasion that Ryan finally collapsed, and now has withdrawn his lawsuit," Ega smiled meaningfully.

"But the policemen saw with their own eyes and heads as I took a gun from the waist of one of them and pointed it at Rani, before they finally fired a bullet into my body," Meysie looked at her husband with a million questions swirling in her mind.

"We don't have to think about how Ryan and his men conditioned all that. What is clear, they have completed everything as I plead," said Ega with his sweetest smile.

"So?" Meysie did not fully believe what her husband said.

"You're free from the law that threatens you, dear. The policemen who continued to stand guard outside this room had left a few hours ago" Ega said proudly.

"Thank you for everything" Meysie smiled awkwardly.

"You'll have to pay dearly to show that gratitude of yours," Ega grinned mischievously.

Meysie was rather horrified to see Ega who was now looking at her passionately.

"Don't think anything! You learned enough to love me, and promised you'd try to be a good wife to me, as well as forget that man forever from your life. It's all been enough to make me happy" Ega rattled Meysie's hair with origin.
