"I accepted the marriage and marriage of Lena Adeeba with mascawin a set of prayer tools paid in cash."
That day, for the second time a groom recites kabul ijab at the residence of Mama Davina.
All the rooms are arranged neatly exactly like at Rani's wedding at that time. The living room is transformed into a beautiful wedding altar. The entire room was dominated by white and filled with red roses in every corner. On the first floor, the wedding certificate is set exactly in the middle of the room. Even those present were almost the same people as the guests present when Rani and Ryan tied the sacred promise.
The whole family of Dewangga and the family of Mama Davina sat around the place of the kabul ijab. Just like when Ryan said kabul first, the groom is seen wearing a white suit, with matching color peci and jasmine flowers seen covering his neck.
After the makeup is finished, Lena who wore a long kebaya and white hijab in line with the groom immediately sat on the second floor accompanied by Mama Davina, Rani, Nina and some of the caretakers of the orphanage where Lena was being cared for since someone left her at that place.
"Darling, this is your happy day. It will be beautiful if you cry continuously," said Mama Davina while stroking Lena's back gently, when she realized that throughout the procession the marriage contract of the clear circle was unceasingly flowing from the tip of her eyes.
Seeing that, both Mama Davina and Rani both know what had disturbed Lena's heart. How not? The wedding day, which was supposed to be the happiest day for all women, became the day that made Lena lament the fate of her life.
Ijab kabul without the mention of the name of the father is the saddest thing Lena's heart. Although of course Lena understands very well that that is what must happen because neither Lena nor the caretaker never knew the origins and parents of Lena's birth. Even Lena was laid out in the courtyard of the parlour when her body was still red, indicating she had just been born.
"Is my marriage legal without mentioning my father's name behind my name?" asked Lena on the sidelines of her crying.
"Your marriage is legal, honey. Mas Ryan and I consulted KUA first. The mention of the father's name of the bride-to-be is not so a principle for the validity of a marriage contract. Therefore, the name of the father of the bride may or may not be mentioned at all as long as the woman in question is clear. The mention of the father's name is necessary if the woman is not present because it is feared there is similarity of name with other women. If the bride is already present at the time of the marriage contract, then there is no more doubt and confusion about the bride in question. So you don't think about it" Rani answered Lena's heartbreak with the most beautiful smile for her best friend.
Lena sighed with relief.
"Now I'm married. Tell me who he is?" pinta Lena was full of hope, while looking at the figure of the man down there who had just married her.
Until then, Lena did not know who her husband was because the position of the groom turned his back on Lena. When kabul even Lena only heard the name of her future husband called the judge at a glance so it is not so clear because Lena was too late in her sadness.
"Come, you'll know who he is soon. You've been asked to join down to sign the marriage book," Rani doesn't answer Lena's questions. She helped her best friend stand up and led her to join the first floor and sit next to the groom.
Before long, Lena sat next to the groom, then read the do'a and signed the marriage book. Without seeing her husband's face, Lena immediately kissed the back of the man's hand beside her and a kiss landed just like that on Lena's forehead.
"I kept my promise, Adeeba" whispered the man down.
Lena gasped to hear Adeeba's name called. Only one person called her by that name, and she was her childhood dream lover whom she had not even met since the age of 7.
"Mas Aryans? You?" Lena was shocked and confused to see the figure of the man who married her. His chest rumbled, between surprise, confusion and a huge question mark was now mixed in his mind.
Flashbacks
That night, when Lena cries and says that she only has Rani and her family, Arya secretly pity Lena.
After Lena falls asleep, Arya calls Ryan and asks to talk to Rani about something.
Even though the night was late, Ryan who actually wanted Rani to rest after a long trip was finally handed the phone to Rani.
"Let me marry her, Miss. Let me take care of him. He'll be safe if he stays with me" Arya pinta said as Rani greeted him at the end of the phone.
"I'm very grateful if Mas Arya is willing to do it. But Mas Arya has to know who Lena is first. He's a foster kid who doesn't even know who his parents are. Right now he only has me and my mama" answered Rani honestly.
"Didn't I have the same fate as Lena, Miss. Even I only have Ryan and the Dewangga family, since they picked me up from the streets," Arya said.
"Alright if Mas Arya has a spell. You'll get married once we get home from the capital. Let Lena take care of me," answered Rani excitedly.
After the chat that night, they prepared for the wedding in silence. Ryan and Arya's men who prepared everything, assisted by Mama Davina, Mama Titania and Papa Prabu. Eventually they became besan for the second time, because Mama Davina was the only Lena family and the Dewangga family was the only one that Arya had.
And within two days everything was ready, so that after Lena was discharged from the hospital and they returned from the capital, the marriage contract procession could be carried out immediately.
Arya had set her heart when she decided to marry Lena. Although at first he only felt pity and wanted to take over the burden on Rani's shoulders to guard Lena after the Charles trial incident, but when he found out that the name of the bride he should mention when Ijab kabul is Lena Adeeba, Arya felt that the Creator was already very good to him. Because Adeeba is the name of the little girl he left behind in the orphanage when he was taken by foster parents, although they eventually dumped Arya so easily that she had to live on the streets before finally there was a family of Dewangga who became her guardian angel.
"Adeeba. Are you my old little girl?" Arya wondered in her heart before she made that sacred promise.
