METAPHOR OF YOUNG LEGISLATOR LOVE
The End of Mr. Atmaja's Story (Part 2-End Of Flasback)

Continued flashback

In that space, Atmaja was stretched out like a robot. His entire body was filled with wires milling about. An infusion hose was installed in his right hand, a ventilator was inserted through his nose to assist his breathing, as well as a heart record cable and many more wires were attached there.

Beside Atmaja's bed, a screen showing his heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels in his blood perched perfectly in place. On the screen are also visible lines that show the Atmaja heart rate graph which also issued a sad rhythm, to further add anxious gurat on the face of Mrs Atmaja, Hengky, and more, also, Fisha who has now been in that room.

"Father!" call Madame Atmaja while pouring into her husband's arms.

Realizing that his wife was in his arms, Atmaja immediately removed the ventilator attached to his nose.

"Please, don't take it off!" said Mrs Atmaja parau.

Atmaja simply smiled as he raised one hand, hinting that he was fine.

"I'm sorry, honey. I have not been able to give happiness to you, as I promised before," said Atmaja. Even now his tears just dripped from the end of his eyes.

"Father, don't think about it, Pa. Papa rest, stay healthy. There's still a lot of happiness for us out there, Pa. So fight for all of us" said Mrs Atmaja.

"Papa doesn't have time anymore" said Atmaja.

"can't. Papa can't talk like that. Mama can't if she has to live without Papa" Madam Atmaja's tears spilled.

"Honey, there is always meaning in every presence and encounter, as well as every departure and farewell. Thank you for choosing to faithfully accompany me on all those arks. Thank you for being willing to take care of each other and believe in each other despite the many mistakes I have done to you. But from now on, you have to be strong through time without me. Promise to be happy with our children" with great difficulty, Atmaja said the last words to his wife.

"Hengky, Fisha, Papa tipped your mama yes. Love them more than you have. Tell Meysie and Ega, too, that Papa loves them," and now Atmaja's hand looks at Hengky and Fisha, even though his hand is still firmly grasped by his beloved wife.

"We take care of Mama together, Pa," Hengky's voice began to weigh.

"No, Son. Papa doesn't have much time. Promise me that Papa can calm down when he has to leave you," Atmaja looked into the depths of Hengky's eyes expectantly.

"Alright, Pa. Hengky will run all the mandate from Papa," said Hengky while stunned.

"One more last request Papa, son. Listen carefully. After Papa's absence, please donate Papa's cornea to Daniel. Papa could no longer bear the guilt of Papa for the death of Aryan's son and the blindness of Daniel, because all happened because of Papa's actions. At least, what Papa does can slightly reduce the sins of Papa, Son," continued Atmaja lirih.

"Will Hengky take care of his administration, Pa. Hengky will execute all Papa's wishes" said Hengky, who really felt that all his papa's requests were the last will for him.

"Your father has asked us to take care of all his files, sir. He has signed everything" said the doctor, who was in the same room at the time.

Atmaja only nodded meaningfully, after hearing the doctor's words and confirming them. Before long, Atmaja spread his gaze towards Hengky, Fisha and his wife in turn. Even the grip of his hand to his wife is now increasingly stretched, as if afraid if released in the moments of separation.

Hengky also approached her papa with a blue feeling. After arranging the heart, Hengky finally faced the face of the papa towards the qibla, then talqin him by bringing his mouth closer to the ears of his mother.

"Laa ilaaha illa Allah" whispered Hengky. She tried to hold back her cries so that her papa could clearly hear what she was whispering.

"Laa ilaaha illa Allah," stammered, Atmaja imitated what Hengky whispered in his ear.

After the sentence managed to come out of her mouth a few times, her hand grip on Madam Atmaja weakened, along with her head moving slowly as well.

A few seconds later, suddenly there was a loud and long sound from the screen near Atmaja. The heart rate graph is now only in the form of straight lines that do not go up and down as before.

"Father! Up, Pa. Mama please, wake up. Wake up, Mama, Pa. Don't leave Mama. Don't take him, O God. Hengky, how should Mama, son? Mama can't live without Papa. Doctor, help my husband, Doctor!" Madam Atmaja was hysterically shouting.

Doctors and nurses in the room called them out and took immediate action. Before long, in the hands of doctors there is a Defibrillator, a heart rate stimulator that uses high voltage electricity to restore Atmaja's heart rate back. Even doctors attached two devices that looked like an iron to Atmaja's body many times, but his heartbeat could not return.

"I'm sorry, we've tried but God wills otherwise" the doctor said, letting them all in.

Now, they all just stay glued, feeling the pulse that is getting faster.

"There is always meaning in every presence and meeting, as well as in every departure and separation," Atmaja's last message now continues to ring in the minds of Hengky, Fisha and also her mother.

Rani also sobbed to hear Hengky's story about the end of Mr. Atmaja's story. Indeed, the tears that escaped the tip of their eyes were truly sincere, although the barrage of mistakes he made to the Dewangga family was still ringing in their minds.

"Did I hear wrong?" Ryan confirmed his hearing. He remembered how much he had been looking for an eye donor for his brother to get to the black market only to see Daniel get back to enjoying the world.

"To do what is Papa's last will, I ask you to meet me here. Let's do that cornea transplant right now, so I can finish the last job you gave me, and Daniel can go back to seeing the world," Hengky moved from his seat and approached Ryan who was still standing in front of him. While Rani, was already beside Madam Atmaja and clasped her hand tightly.

"Doctor said, we only have less than six hours to be able to take the cornea from my papa's eye. Therefore, you talk to Daniel, I will immediately take care of Papa's funeral as soon as the team of doctors finished taking the corneas" said Hengky, patting Ryan on the shoulder.

"Thank you, and we say our condolences," Ryan nodded and patted Hengky on the shoulder back.
