Twenty-three years ago

Aghata is frustrated, seeing the quarrels after quarrels that his mother and her new husband do every day in front of his own eyes. Even since her mother remarried, her mother was too focused on her marriage and work so that the attention for Aghata was arguably no longer there.

Confused about where to pour out his heart and eliminate the sense of loneliness in his life, Aghata was upset for a long time. While at the same time, his friends were present, accommodating all his complaints and always there in the difficult moments that Aghata felt.

It was that association that became the initial bridge for Aghata to try various negative things, including liquor and drugs.

Initially, Aghata was only forced to smoke by his friends. On the basis of solidarity, Aghata could not resist.

"Ahh, just a regular cigarette" Aghata thought at the time.

But unexpectedly, it turns out that Aghata hisab is not an ordinary cigarette, but a marijuana. And because on the first occasion Aghata did not reject it, then his friends continued to poke him with marijuana every day.

But that didn't last long. In just two weeks, Aghata admitted uncomfortable consuming leaves that are found on an island in Indonesia.

’’I don't want any more. Not good to know, bitter,’’ reject Aghata innocently.

Aghata's refusal did not make the spirit of his friends recede. They actually offered Aghata with drugs class of Opiad Heroin or putaw, which is a highly addictive narcotic processed from morphine, a natural substance from seed extract of certain varieties of poppy plants. This heroin is commonly sold in the form of a white or brownish powder that has been mixed with sugar, starch, powdered milk or quinine, which is usually used with a sucked, smoked, put in a cigarette or thawed by heating it over a spoon and then injected into a vein, muscle, or under the skin.

Aghata himself always consume it by injecting it into the blood vessels. And once heroin enters the brain, it turns into morphine and binds quickly to opiad receptors. It was then that Aghata felt an overwhelming sensation of excitement, even the longer Aghata did not hesitate to increase the amount of heroin he consumed considering the intensity of the excitement he felt depended on the amount of heroin that entered his body. The more Aghata injects the heroin into his veins, the stronger the euphoric effect he feels. And it lasted long enough, until the day of his graduation came.

But it turns out, graduating from high school, does not necessarily make Aghata repent, even his bad behavior becomes more and more. Especially after Aghata gets to know Arsen, an upper-semester student who is a wealthy drug dealer.

When Aghata's finances began to break down and began to sakau while he could not afford heroin anymore, Aghata finally willing to establish a relationship with Arsen, even to the forbidden relationship in bed. That way, free heroin he can always get.

"What if I'm pregnant?" Aghata always throws the question to Arsen, every time they finish the forbidden relationship.

But a promise is a promise. When Aghata becomes pregnant, Arsen chooses to leave her and decides to leave. Yes, he never came to see Aghata again, let alone give Aghata a marriage like what he had promised.

Aghata who was eight months pregnant had to swallow the bitter reality, when the mother drove him away because she did not want to bear the shame if the child in the womb Aghata finally born later.

With feelings of sadness, destruction, anger and all the other feelings that were raging in his heart, Aghata finally decided to leave.

He continued walking without direction. Aghata's physical unpreparedness during pregnancy also makes his body feel so weak. Especially after Arsen completely left him, for the last few days Aghata did not have enough money to buy heroin so that the anxiety, fret and anxiety in Aghata became excessive.

Aghata looks like a depressed person, even along the way he feels nausea to vomit many times. His nose and eyes continued to water, his bones felt so painful, that it made Aghata unable to walk anymore. Not strong, he finally stopped and just sat on the side of the road, crying so much without caring about the many people who passed by and just looked at him strangely without the slightest pity.

Until night comes. The streets were getting quiet, no one was going through them anymore. The night breeze just blew the body from the tip of the hair to the tip of the toe, adding to the pain that Aghata felt as his muscles began to twitch, because of what he's been through for days.

Now Aghata's body began to shiver. The pain that spread throughout his body, even more so the pain in his heart that he now felt, made his mind become dazed for a moment. He begins to hallucinate and thinks he wants to end himself.

“Tak no use anymore I live,” murmured while smiling bitterly.

Threw a glass bottle that happened to be next to him, then he smashed the bottle on the edge of the road to become fragments. With determination, he grabbed one piece of glass and directed it to his left hand to break the veins that were there.

Suddenly, someone surprised him.

“What are you doing, Miss?” Prabu, who happened to pass by and saw a pregnant woman sitting on the side of the road and trying to end his life by cutting a vein through his hand, finally stopped his car and immediately approached Aghata.

“Who are you? Don't interfere in my business!” exclaim Aghata annoyed. After looking at Prabu for a while, he chose to turn his face back and look at the glass he was holding.

“You're really crazy, Miss. Think of that baby in your womb,” cried Prabu while approaching Aghata and forcibly snatched the sharp object from his hand.

“I told you not to interfere in my business!” exclaiming Aghata so realized that it turns out two hands are already between Prabu's hands, shortly after Prabu snatched and throw away the glass fragments.
