A Request

Ryan let his sentence pause, before he finally took a deep breath and threw it back slowly.

"Come here!" pinta Ryan while opening both hands, until Rani approached and can be grabbed.

"Mas Ryan why? Is there a problem?" rani asked as she looked at her husband's face, then poked her head back into the chest of her husband's field.

"Do you want to be the mother of the children?" ryan asked suddenly, tightening his embrace.

A very reasonable question a husband asks his wife, indeed. But somehow Rani was really not ready to hear the question.

"Being a mother? I haven't thought that far. Even I was grateful when my wedding plans with Tede failed so I could find my free soul again. And right now, the transition period after I married Mas Ryan alone has not been successful I passed. So how can I think of becoming a mother?" rani in the heart.

"Do you mind, honey?" ryan asked as if he found the answer from his wife's response that was silent while dissolving in his own mind.

Rani just shook her head slowly, with a face expression that was hard to decipher.

"You promised to answer honestly, didn't you?" ask Ryan full of questions. I don't know why Ryan was eager to get an answer from his wife.

"Of course Rani wants to be the mother of Mas Ryan's children. But...," said Rani hesitated. The words were left hanging.

"But what?" Ryan continued to pursue the definitive answer from his wife.

"But Rani is not ready for now. Rani is young, many things have not been achieved that Rani still wants to do," finally the sentence that came out of Rani's mouth.

"Are you using contraception without Mas's knowledge?"

Rani was shocked by the question, then shook her head violently.

"Why was that unthinkable? I can get pregnant and be a mother at any time if I don't wear it. How's this?" rani in the heart.

Ryan smiled amusedly at the look on his wife's face that looked puzzled.

"How can you say you're not ready to be a mother, while we do it every day even a few times a day without any safety?" Ryan who had asked seriously, so intend to tease his wife who is now being surprised by his words.

Now the shadow is confined inside the house as always feared Rani immediately danced in his mind.

Actually Ryan did not want to ask anything from his wife, unless Rani was really ready to give it to him himself. But when considering some dangerous things happen to Rani lately, making Ryan have to ask for big things to his wife.

"I'm sorry, honey. It's not that I don't understand all your desires and obsessions. But since Mas doesn't want more danger to happen to you, then Mas should ask for this" Ryan murmured inwardly.

Ryan continued to look at his wife's face fixedly. He did not know where to start and how to arrange the language so that his wife could understand his wishes.

"Darling, actually that's not all I want you to ask for" Ryan said, confirming his position until now they sit facing each other.

Rani stared fixedly at her husband, waiting for what else Ryan would ask of her.

"Be his sholihah wife Mas Ryan. Let go of all your world out there and return to your nature as a wife and mother entirely in our home" Ryan hesitantly let go of his words.

"Does Mas Ryan think that Rani is not the wife of Sholehah with the current position of Rani? Does the wife of the sholehah only deserve to be pinned on a wife who just stayed at home while waiting for her husband to come home?" rani replied with a high tone.

"It's not so, honey. Listen to Mas first," said Ryan while trying to hug his wife back but immediately pushed Rani just like that.

"Rani could have left everything behind even though in the end Rani had to go crazy. But what can Mas Ryan guarantee, what is the fate of thousands of people out there after Rani left? They all have high hopes for Rani. And Rani could not help them all without Rani being included in the ranks of the Board Members," continued Rani increasingly emotional.

The thing that Rani fears about the world of marriage is really happening. Her husband really wanted to ask everything from her, even the world that had been in his grasp all along.

Thousands of poor people, women with HIV AIDS, hundreds of children with thalassemia, and many other things that still need Rani's touch now appear as a slide that dances inside her head.

"Should I let go of all this?" rani in the heart.

Rani tergugu's. Just thinking about her husband's request was really making Rani sick. Especially if he had to leave the job at once the world he loved, maybe he could really be crazy because of it.

"Why did Ryan forget that Mas ever promised to support and strengthen Rani in any case? Ryan got up from his seat, trying to follow Rani to the bathroom. Turns out the door was locked. Thirty minutes Ryan kept waiting, but his wife could not see him from behind the door.

"Hhhhhh!" ryan exclaimed furiously while ruffling his hair violently.

Shortly after, Ryan decided to get out of the room and call someone.

After being satisfied crying, Rani takes the ablution water and rushes out of the bathroom. She had calmed down and decided she would discuss with her husband about his request.

But when the bathroom door was opened, Rani no longer got the figure of Ryan in her room.

Rani looks for Ryan downstairs and in almost all the space, the result is a big zero. Until finally Rani decided to look towards the garage where Ryan's car is usually parked, it turned out to be empty. Apparently her husband left without saying goodbye to her.

Rani circulates her eyes on the wall clock that is high in the living room, the clock shows ten o'clock at night.

"Where are you, Mas? Why did you leave? Sorry for making you angry" Rani murmured inwardly.

Now not only sobbing, Rani has even cried as much as she ran towards the room and scattered herself on her bed.
