Arya looked at the back of Lena who was sitting by the lake from a distance. For a long time, he kept letting his wife herself to calm the mind. Even Arya had left Lena in that place alone, in order not to miss the Ashar prayer. And when Arya came back, she saw her beautiful wife prostrating herself with grass. Long ago, Arya let her wife dissolve in her long do'a. Until finally, the twilight came, making Arya tetiba sit beside Lena even though still in silence.
Lena turned her head for a moment, then threw her face towards the lake which now reflected reddish orange rays. In the silhouette of that twilight threshold, Arya continued to look at Lena's face. Yes, a beautiful face that now looks so sad. But even so, still the admiration in the heart of Arya never disappeared, when dusk coupled with the face of his beloved wife ayu.
Arya took Lena's hand and grasped it tightly. Lena immediately rested her head, on the shoulder that was always there when she needed a place to spill all the tightness in her chest. Arya smiled, then they enjoyed the sheen of the lake that radiated reddish in front of them.
Lena closed her eyes. Only Arya can now calm her heart, especially when Arya kisses her forehead with tenderness and warmth.
The sunlight is getting closer to the horizon line. Not only dim, but now it is dark to say hello.
"We're going home now?" whispered Arya.
Lena shook her head. He just grabbed Arya and tightened his embrace.
"I won't let those tears wet your cheeks again" said Arya, stroking his wife's back.
Lena stretched her arms and stared fixedly at the depths of Arya's eyes. A smile also fell on his lips, as if he wanted to express gratitude for the most beautiful gift in his life, in the form of a husband who is always present in every like and suffering.
Arya returned Lena's smile. Gently their lips touched each other, until the turmoil of their love was burning.
Until the dim night completely erases the twilight that is infinitely, they do not also move from its place.
"It's dark in here, honey. Aren't you afraid of the dark of the night?" Arya whispered again, realizing that there was not a single lighting around the lake.
Yes, they are currently on the lake, their favorite place since they were both in the orphanage first. Unfortunately, the lake is not maintained until not many know if there is a place as beautiful as it is.
"We lit a bonfire like that time," whined the spoiled Lena. She really wanted to forget her sadness, by reliving sweet memories with her husband.
Arya nodded too. They last lit a bonfire in that place, about seventeen years ago. Arya really did not expect, if Lena also still remembered the times they were still together, before finally the vision of fate separated them.
"Wait here for a minute, I collect the branches first," said Arya while peeping the tip of his wife's head.
"Couthful. Deeba's afraid," sulks Lena.
Arya also turned on the flashlight from her cellphone, and looked for dry branches around them. After collecting, Arya took an electric match from her car, until finally the bonfire was lit.
For a moment, they just sat quietly, looking at the flames with a thousand memories. Now, only that fire was the source of light between them. And the girl who always asked a lot, spoke, moved, and there was always a joke that offered was now just silent without a single word on her tongue. Yeah, unlike usual, Lena mused more and Arya let her.
"Darling, since we were kids, there's a lot of stories we've shared. There are many things we have been through. So is today. Don't you want to share your grief with me?" Arya looked at the face of his wife who was now hit by the reflection of the bonfire in front of him.
Lena smiled at Arya, but still did not open her mouth to reply to her husband's words.
“If she doesn't dump me, maybe we'll never meet,” Lena finally opens her voice. Such a roaring voice sounded.
"All is part of the message of destiny that God has laid out for us" Arya said, rubbing Lena's head in love.
Even the night is late. The air around the lake is getting colder. In the sky, the moon and stars shine. Even now the branches they gathered had burned out, until the bonfire was almost dead, only a small fire was left to accompany them at this time.
"Do you want us to collect those branches again?" ask Arya later.
Lena just shook her head.
"Then we go home now?" Arya.
Once again Lena shook her head, making Arya have to turn on her cell phone light once again.
Lena kept silent, she just looked far away, beyond the edge of the lake across there. Even when the fog started to fall and cover the surface of the lake, Lena still chose a thousand languages silent.
Until the moon began to lean east. Stars began to disappear from the sky, the fog that descended also felt so dense. Soon the dawn will come, but Lena's mind is still hovering around without knowing where the end and the beginning of the end of the odyssey will be.
"Darling, it's almost dawn. We go home yes. You'll get sick later" Arya stood up, then grabbed Lena's hand and pulled her slowly.
Lena stood up quietly, before finally her body was unstoppable. Fortunately Arya swiftly caught it, otherwise the wet ground would receive her body with joy.
Arya carried his wife's body with a sense she was no longer able to speak with words. As soon as Lena sat in the driver's side seat with the seat down, Arya put her hand to his wife's forehead.
"Oh my God, you have a fever, honey. Of course it's because you're in this cold place until morning comes" Arya grumbled softly.
"Sister, where are we going" half-consciously Lena asked.
"We're going to the hospital, honey. You have a fever" said Arya tensely.
"We'll just go home, brother. Lena wants to sleep in our room" said Lena, who could not be rejected by her husband.
