That afternoon, Daniel did not miss a second of his friendship with the woman he adored. In fact, the injury of Daniel's fall from the stairs that morning, as if lost and not felt when Naja is now back in his arms, after a misunderstanding that had stiffened between them.
"Why do you survive this imperfect condition of mine, honey? Aren't you tired of seeing that there's nothing I can do now?" the great-granddaughter of Daniel rubbed the back of his wife, who now went up to the patient's bed and had hugged her body tightly.
"I'm not the perfect woman, honey. I'm just an ordinary woman trying to love you perfectly. I want to love you not only by accepting your advantages, but I will also accept you as you are," Naja looked up to see her husband's expression and again tightened her arms.
"Don't you know what I was like in the past and how weak I am right now, honey? Even I myself never know if I can become a better human being in the future or fall into wishful thinking? I really don't want to be a burden for the rest of my life" said Daniel again, in a very heavy voice.
"I will accept all the shortcomings and vices that you have, both in the past, present, and future. You're still special in my eyes, honey, whatever flaws and imperfections you have. Like you, I don't care. Because I love you with all my heart" said Naja sure.
"Are you not sorry? You never imagined that a man like me would eventually become an imperfect man who could only depend on you, right?" Daniel continued to express his turmoil.
"The only thing that makes me regret is having betrayed you," Naja let out a long sigh.
"It would be naive if I wanted a perfect partner while that perfection was also not attached to me. Nothing in this world is perfect, my dear. God created the excess with the lack. So too with us. God created us with certain advantages, as well as certain deficiencies, all of which are present naturally and simultaneously" Naja assures.
"But my shortcomings are more than your shortcomings. I'm afraid you can't accept me in this condition all the time" said Daniel.
"Where is there? My shortcomings are more than your shortcomings," said Naja steady.
"You are this, a parrot," Daniel put his chin on the tip of his wife's head.
"God created man, nothing is perfect, my dear. Sinning knows, demands our partner to be perfect. Because at any time, we will never find him" continued Naja without any burden on his heart.
"If there are still shortcomings and vices in the past that until now you do not know? Are you still gonna love me?" suddenly Daniel's face changed.
"I love you for wanting to carve out a future with you, baby. I have a past, you have a past. Let us take every meaning from the journey of our lives, so that we can make it a lesson to carve the history of our lives ahead there," said Naja.
"Thank you, dear," Daniel smiled in relief, and hugged Naja tightly.
Unbeknownst to them, behind Ryan's door, Rani, as well as Johan were standing still, listening to the chatter of two human children with a blue feeling. They deliberately did not want to break Daniel and Naja's conversation until they ended it all.
Tock-tock.
ryan finally knocks on the door, so convinced that Daniel and Naja's conversation can be paused.
"Lake in!" naja exclaimed after getting out of her husband's bed and confirmed her sitting position on the bedside chair.
Ryan, Rani, and Johan entered with radiant faces. While at the door, Rudi and some of Johan's men are still at home, making sure that bad things will not happen.
"Why did you come back, sir? Don't you think Miss has to rest a lot?" asked Naja while frowning her forehead.
"You guys don't rest? Didn't you just come home? I'm really fine. Don't worry about me too much" said Daniel, knowing who was coming.
"I can't wait to tell you two things" Ryan approached Daniel and Naja.
"What news?" daniel didn't understand.
"What?" Daniel is really impatient.
"The good news is, you've got a donor for your eye and that cornea transplant will be done by a team of doctors today. So prepare yourself," Ryan grew his smile, pulling the pregnant woman beside him and wrapping his sturdy hand around his waist.
Daniel and Naja rounded their mouths and eyes, as if they could not believe the news Ryan had told them.
"Thank God, O God. You have granted do'a for the sake of do'a that I ask" said Naja, then immediately poured into the arms of her husband.
"Congratulations, dear," said Naja, who was immediately answered with a nod and a kiss from her husband.
"Who is my eye donor, Yan? And how's the second one?" ask Daniel in curiosity.
"The second news, the cornea donor for you is Om Atmaja. He died a few minutes ago," Ryan replied softly.
"Om Atmaja is dead?" exclaim Daniel.
"Hmmm. Heart attack. It is likely that he is very stressed because he feels guilty for everything that happened to you and Arya who had to lose her first son. And about the cornea donor, it became his last will for Hengky and all members of the Atmaja family" said Ryan later.
"But I can't possibly accept it, except ..," Daniel hung up his line.
"Except what?" ryan and Rani at the same time.
"Unless Arya allows me to accept the donor's eye" said Daniel.
"meaning?" Ryan clarified.
"Yes, unless Arya allows me to receive an eye donor from someone who has lost his son's life. I was worried that, when I saw my eyes, Arya would remember all the things Om Atmaja had done to her as well as to her family" Daniel revealed his reason.
"It's definitely not a big deal for him. I really know Arya inside out, so I can really understand who she is, and what she thinks about Om Atmaja and his family" Ryan who feels very well know the nature of Arya because he grew up together and held his parents' company together also reveals the reason.
"But I still want to hear that answer from Arya directly" Daniel asked expectantly.
"Come, Niel. There's not much time we have" Ryan said.
"But I want to hear Arya's answer," chuckled Hengky.
"All right, let's call him" Johan, who had been silent since, finally took the initiative.
"I'll answer it now," suddenly Arya and Lena came.
"How's Arya? What's your answer now?"
