Between Hate and Love, Now There's No Limit

Arsen tried to think for a moment. Suddenly, he went to his wardrobe, and finally found an object there.

It was that thing that prompted Arsen to make up his mind, ending his life by cutting the vein on his wrist. Arsen. A second later, blood poured out profusely and he collapsed instantly.

Daniel was glued, hearing Johan spelling word for word on that piece of paper. Yes, a piece of paper containing a will that Arsen wrote before he decided to end his life. There, Arsen wrote verse by word, an outpouring of love for Daniel and Aghata. There is also a will in which Arsen wishes to give his corneas to his beloved son, once he is gone.

Now, the cries of love echoed throughout the empty space in his heart. Daniel's cry broke out, along with a seething sense of regret filling his soul.

"Dad, why are you doing all this? I don't want to accept that cornea, Dad. I'd rather stay blind than have to sacrifice you" said Daniel, sobbing. Naja, who was beside the patient bed where Daniel was still lying weak, was only able to hold his hand to give strength.

"Where's the body, Jo? Let me see him one last time. And remember. Never do that transplant. I don't want to be an ungodly child just because I want to see the world" said Daniel amid his sobs.

Johan was only able to take a deep breath, before responding to Daniel's request to him.

"Actually the Great Lord is still alive, Sir. I had asked Rudi to install CCTV in his room when yesterday the Great Lord asked me to take me to the hospital. And when my suspicions are proven, I can go straight to the hospital and run him" Johan said.

The doctor nodded his head, though he didn't know what Johan was going to do.

Before long, Johan had already been busy with a sophisticated flat object in his hand. He asks Rudi to install CCTV in Arsen's room for fear that Arsen will act recklessly after hearing the doctor's answer that is not in accordance with his wishes. Johan also tells her to clean up any objects in Arsen's room that she can use to hurt him.

After stalling for about thirty minutes, Johan finally came out.

"How, Jo?" ask Arsen as soon as Johan approaches him.

"Huh, it turns out that what they're talking about you is wrong, Jo. They say there's nothing a John Angelo can't do. But this is what? Just persuading a doctor you can't do it" grumbled Arsen, with a look of disappointment. Even Arsen left Johan just like that, and walked towards their car.

Since the return of Johan and Arsen from the hospital, Rudi did not take his eyes off the laptop screen connected to the CCTV he installed in Arsen's room. Whatever Arsen did since that afternoon, all Rudi monitored so that if Johan's fear really happened, he could immediately take action. In fact, Rudi's dinner hour was willing to leave so as not to be cheated. Yeah, just like Arsen who just missed dinner that night.

Johan who was on guard that night in the main room immediately caught the irregularities that occurred, so immediately followed Rudi with some of his men who happened to be on guard the night.

Unfortunately, they are late. When they managed to break down Arsen's bedroom door, it was already happening. Arsen was already slumped on the floor with blood pouring down from his wrist. Seeing that, they all rushed straight towards Arsen. Rudi, who was trained, strongly pressed the cut Arsen pulse so that the bleeding could be stopped temporarily, after which they immediately fled Arsen to the hospital.

"It's a good thing you took Mr. Arsen to the hospital in time, so we could stop the bleeding and he survived" said a doctor who saved Arsen's life.

Daniel breathed a sigh of relief, as soon as he heard Johan tell him about Arsen's condition. In any case, Daniel forgave Arsen even though he still needed time to accept him as his real father.

"Do you want to see your father, Mister?" Johan dared to ask. Indeed, seeing Daniel's reaction to hearing that Arsen decided to end his life just to restore Daniel's vision, Johan was able to capture that a child's love for his father was real.

"How, Master? Do you want to meet the Great Lord now?" Johan repeated his question, after waiting for Daniel's answer to not arrive.

Daniel seemed to be thinking hard. A moment of hesitation now controlled his heart. In fact, between hate and love, there really is no limit. Will Daniel accept Arsen back immediately after all the sacrifices he tried to make for his happiness and long future?
