METAPHOR OF YOUNG LEGISLATOR LOVE
The Responsibility of Hengky

Life always shows its charm. Goodness and evil, sorrow and happiness, hardship and ease, love and hatred, all become colors in every beauty.

However, the nature of destiny is sometimes not in line with desire. Reality is more often different from what is thought, until as an ordinary human being, all that can be done is maximize efforts.

Yes, that's how life is. Laughter and crying sometimes happen at the same time. Like that day, the difference is very noticeable from the two sides of one's life. The atmosphere of love in the house of the House of Dewangga, very much different when compared to the mood of the Atmaja family. How not? Until now, Meysie still lies weak in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) hospital room.

In that room, Meysie lay like a robot, filled with wires running all over her body. An infusion cable was installed in his right hand, a ventilator was inserted through his nose to aid his breathing, a heart record cable and many other wires were attached there.

In addition to where Meysie was treated, there was a screen that showed the condition of heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels in his blood. On the screen are also visible lines that move up and down, which shows a graph of Meysie's heart rate that also makes a sound according to his heartbeat. It was that voice that added more and more anxious gurgles to the face of Hengky and his mother who was always loyal and patient waiting for the moments he was aware of his coma.

"Go take care of the company, son. Do not let our company lie dormant because too long no one takes care of it. Let Meysie Mama take care, later tonight you can replace Mama," Mrs Atmaja told her son.

"Mom's okay, Hengky lives alone?" there was a hint of hesitation from the expression that Hengky showed. Because after all, a mother who is now in front of him is the one who suffers the most for everything that happens. Her husband is now a fugitive, her only daughter is in a coma, and her youngest son must be heartbroken, all for one reason, namely out of unrequited love.

"We have to get used to this kind of situation, son. Now your dad's out of nowhere, your brother's still lying in a coma, so now it's just the two of us. Who else would we rely on if not you," Mrs Atmaja's eyes were visibly teary, recalling the trials of life that were afflicting her family.

"Mama don't be sad. Hengky will do anything for you. Today Hengky will take care of Hengky's resignation letter in the Board and will start taking care of the company," said Hengky softly, while stroking Mrs Atmaja's back affectionately.

After peeping Meysie's forehead, Hengky kissed the back of Atmaja's hand and forehead.

Not long after, Hengky went out to the hospital parking lot. As has become the hallmark of a Board Member, Hengky never dispel the habit of looking around when walking. He never focused on the path he was walking, but always walked by observing the activities of those around him.

That was what he did at the time. Once out of the ICU room, Hengky who had to pass through the operating room and IGD first to get out and go to the parking lot was busy seeing the people he passed at that time.

Suddenly his steps stopped. As soon as Hengky passed through the front of the operating room, he saw the girl he helped yesterday walking back and forth, with both hands cupped in front of his chest, and mouth muttering reciting do'a.

"Hi, Miss. Is your mom okay?" greet Hengky as soon as he gets in front of the girl.

"Ahh, Sir. Apparently You. My mother is fine, sir. He's in surgery" said the girl.

"Your mother has to be operated on? What is the doctor's diagnosis?" Hengky frowned.

"How could you not know, Sir? Aren't you willing to bear my mother's expenses?" ask the girl in wonder.

"Ohh that? Was right. But I forgot to ask you what diagnosis and treatment your mother needs" Hengky replied casually.

"Sorry, Sir. I guess you already know if my mother has to be operated on, so I immediately agreed once a doctor told me about her surgery schedule. I'd like to contact you also do not know where to go, because confused I finally agree. Sorry sir, if the fee for my mother is too big, you can take it as a debt. I will try to replace it, even if I have to take it for the rest of my life" said the girl with teary eyes.

"Calm down! Don't you think about it" Hengky replied without a burden.

"Thank you, sir," the girl bowed.

"Sorry, Sir. May I have your mobile number? So that I can contact you if something happens to my mother and needs your consent" the girl said politely.

"certain. Here's my business card," Hengky handed me a business card, then said goodbye to come out.

But before Hengky passed, suddenly the light above the operating room door that was red was dead and turned green, a sign of the operation was completed. Hengky stopped his steps and went to the doctor to find out the current condition of the girl's mother.

"How, Doctor?" Hengky asked with great enthusiasm.

"Look, Sir. Generally the operation went well. The tumor was removed and we cleared it from his body. But ...," the doctor stopped his speech.

"But what, Doc?" Hengky interrupted, while the girl was just speechless with her tense face.

"Actually, the operation was arguably successful, sir. But the mother's gut connection was at risk because her hemoglobin dropped, considering that before her HB surgery it wasn't too high either" the doctor said.

"How did it go, Doc?" the girl asked in a trembling voice.

"Your mother still needs a blood transfusion, Miss," the doctor continued.

"Do whatever it takes to save her, Doc. Whatever the cost will be my responsibility," said Hengky firmly.

"The problem is our AB blood supply is two bags, sir. We need at least five bags" the doctor looked uninspired.

"My blood type is A, Doctor. How's this, sir?" the girl looked at Hengky and the doctor in turn. Her tears were welling up before they finally fell unbearably.

"Take my blood, Doctor. My blood type AB," without a second thought, Hengky offered.

The doctor could smile with relief, and immediately asked one of the nurses to bring Hengky to do a check and take his blood.

While Hengky had his blood drawn, the girl was just silently fixated on thinking about event after event, as well as coincidence after coincidence that these few days had come into her life. Yes, his encounter with Hengky was a coincidence that saved his mother from a terrifying scourge called death. Not only the cost, it turns out that his blood was willing to give.

"How can I repay all your kindness, sir?" the girl in the heart.
