Ega closed his eyes, enjoying the moment of togetherness they had been waiting for for so long. Meysie also let Ega continue to dissolve with a feeling that erupted in his chest. Her heart was at peace, her soul was at ease, although in her heart there was no feeling of love for her husband.
"Abang, Meysie was hungry" whined Meysie, feeling no sign of her husband letting go of her embrace.
"OKAY. We're having breakfast," Ega let go of his arms and pinched his wife's nose.
Meysie smiled and nodded happily, hearing her husband's answer who immediately responded to what he wanted.
"Meysie grab the bag and the shoes first, Bang," Meysie leaves Ega from the balcony into the room.
Meysie grabbed the bag over her bedside nightstand, then the other hand she used to reach for the shoes she had placed in the closet near the hotel sandals neatly arranged in place. After a pair of shoes were in her hands, Meysie sat on the sofa and was about to put on her shoes.
From the balcony, Ega walked into the room to approach his wife. Seeing Meysie sitting and wearing her shoes, Ega squatted down in front of her, then grabbed the shoes and put them on.
"Abang, no. Let Meysie wear it alone" Meysie refused.
"Ssttts. You're silent. Let Brother do it, "kebih Ega while tightening Meysie's shoelaces, shortly after the shoe entered sweetly at his wife's feet.
Meysie simply looked at her husband with a meaningful gaze.
"Why do you have to be this good, Bang?" inner Meysie.
"I'm not a good person, honey. I'm just a man who loves his wife so much" Ega muttered as if she could read Meysie's heart.
"OKAY. Beres. Let's have breakfast now," after tightening Meysie's shoelaces, Ega stood up and grabbed his wife's hand. With a slight pull, Meysie stood up and followed Ega out of her room.
A moment later, they arrived at the hotel restaurant located next to the lobby. Ega also did not let Meysie take her own food like other hotel guests. He had already prepared a special servant in charge of serving their needs.
As soon as they sat down, immediately a waiter served some neatly arranged food on the table. The waiter opened one by one the dishes.
When the cover of the plate opened and Meysie saw the contents, she looked at her husband with a look that was difficult to interpret with words.
"Did you remember Meysie's favorite food?" that word came out of his mouth. Now Meysie stared at Ega and the food served in turn.
His eyes were fixed on plate after plate that contained his favorite food. The first plate, containing tacos, is a native Mexican snack, but is very popular among Americans. His favorite food consists of dry wheat tortillas and a blend of vegetables and meat.
Meysie's eyes switched to the plate after, which contained grilled chicken, a chicken dish that was very typical and popular in America, cooked by roasting.
And Meysie's last favorite meal served that morning was pancakes, complete with maple syrup, made from maple tree sap cooked to get pure syrup. In addition to having a sweet taste, maple syrup is famous for having several advantages, which are useful for preventing several diseases such as diabetes, cancer, Alzheimer's and a number of other diseases caused by bacteria.
"Good to enjoy, dear," said Ega softly. He kept putting a smile on his lips.
"But ..," Meysie hesitantly continued.
"But?" ega said waiting for Meysie to continue his sentence.
"Mmm, that .., anu ...,"' Meysie looks misbehaved.
"Didn't you like this food anymore?" Ega scrunched his forehead.
"Not so, Brother," Meysie immediately replied to her husband, fearing that it would cause something unpleasant.
"Certain why? Are you on a diet?" oceh Ega.
"Huh, really?" ega asked as if he could not believe his wife's answer.
Again, only a nod was the girl's answer.
"What do you eat?" tanya Ega was still digesting what his wife was trying to do.
"In the morning, Meysie only eats fruit" Meysie said.
"Huh?" Ega was again surprised by his wife's answer.
"Sorry, Bang. My brother had prepared all the food that Meysie liked, but Meysie couldn't eat it" Meysie said, feeling guilty.
"Mmm, are you dieting for health reasons or because you're afraid of being overweight? If it was for health reasons, Brother would not mind at all. But if it's because of your appearance and fear of being overweight, listen to what you have to say. No matter what you are, your love will never diminish. You are fat or thin, your hair is white or still blackened, even if the wrinkles on your face are visible because of the age that continues to run, know that you will continue to love you until the end of your life, Brother," Ega spoke while tightly grasping his wife's hand.
Again, Ega left Meysie speechless. All the goodness and sweet words, make Meysie always amazed.
"Well, let's eat, '" Meysie smiled her smile and took her food in the spirit of four and five.
"So?" ask Ega not understand.
"Let's eat all the food, Bang," Meysie grabbed a piece of taco and put it in her mouth.
"Not a diet?" Ega is still confused by his wife's sudden change.
"Said Brother, fat Meysie doesn't matter, right? And I promise you there will be no betrayal whatever Meysie's future condition?" Meysie.
"Of course" Ega answered briefly, with flowers of love blooming in his heart. That day he was really happy, found his wife had obeyed all his words.
Meysie had forgotten about her diet. He ate all the food in front of him so greedily. Suddenly, Ega called out his name.
"Mey," Ega gestured for Meysie to approach.
"Hmm?" Meysie frowned her forehead a sign of not understanding.
Realizing Meysie did not come closer, Ega took the initiative to bring her face closer, to make Meysie misbehave with her husband's behavior which now has almost no distance between them.
Suddenly Meysie's heart beats fast. He really did not expect that even in public places Ega would do it.
Until suddenly, Meysie's delusion was dissolved when Ega's thumb touched her lips.
"There is a sauce that soils your lips" said Ega while ********** the rest of the sauce from Meysie's lips now stuck to her thumb.
"What do you think, honey? Do you think I'm gonna kiss you now?" Ega moved his eyebrows back.
Meysie ignored her husband's words. He was busy conditioning his heart so as not to be unusually turbulent.
"Why do you have to treat me this well, Bang?" meysie in the heart.
