LOVE SONGS OF LOLOBATA

LOVE SONGS OF LOLOBATA
OUR AVIARY

Santi accompanied me to the foundation on Fifi's motorcycle. Although I'm not afraid of death, I'm very wary of anything that happens. In order to suppress the fear that is often present I do not care what people say. In addition to praying throughout the journey, I brought the lid of the pot that I would use as a shield. While the back of my body is safe because on my back there is a backpack in which there is a laptop. I had to make sure my body was protected when the mysterious archer was aiming at me.

That fear I can't control. Just come and haunt me. There are events out of control that force me to always be vigilant. In addition to being more sensitive to sound, I have also seen shadows of people flashing but people around me are not aware of it at all. They thought I was having a hallucination but I sure saw it. I waited a while for nothing.

"It looks like sister Fifa is still traumatized, it's best to rest at home." suggested Santi after seeing my condition which is often suddenly shocked and dizzy just because of the sound that I considered suspicious.

"I had to coordinate with Dr. Farhana and visit the aviary that I had left behind. Bismillah. Just walk Santi!"

The female security guard followed orders without speaking again. Along the road which was only about 3 kilo meters from home I prayed and was grateful we arrived safely. I don't see anyone stalking or stalking us.

Arriving at the doctor Farhana's office greeted me with a smile. He has worked effectively while interspersed with caring for his young son. More precisely Farhana doctors involve children in working to foster a love for animals and the environment early on.

"I heard you got lost, Fif."

"Not me, but Firdaus."

"Just the same. You're with him, right?"

"Where did the doctor hear from?"

"Doctor Hans. He called last night asking about Firdaus' news."

I just nodded. Doctor Farhana just confirmed, not asked. I better not tell you anything about yesterday.

"How are the birds and the timor deer, doctor?"

"All healthy. Unless there's a black head parrot who got a fungal disorder. The bird is still in quarantine. Just yesterday afternoon we can trust the black head of the residents who said they felt lied to by a wild bird seller. The parrot, which he said was bought expensively, could not speak after a long training. Rather than always being upset and sorry every time he saw the bird, he brought it here." Doctor Farhana smiled faintly.

There is an intention of people to keep birds. Although the black head parrot has exotic beautiful fur and a sweet chirping sound, people still demand it to be good at talking for prestige and pride. This bird from Papua is quite rare. There must be a permit to keep this bird. Otherwise, the police could confiscate it as it was thought to be taking it from the wild. That scarcity is what causes the price to be expensive plus seller speculation that this type of bird can certainly talk.

"There's a handover letter, right, Doc?"

"It has. The BKSDA also witnessed the handover. The bird's condition is not well maintained."

"Ohya, Doc. I want to go back to Makassar on Friday. Want to drop Aga?"

"Dragon?"

"Yes. The red-headed male parrot that Firdaus bought from Dr. Hans made the pilot of our conservation program project. Aga was released on independence day but returned to my aviary." I said with a little embarrassment.

"Oh can. With pleasure. The male parrot is indeed tame. Understand him the result of captivity. It's a little hard to get back to nature."

"You're good at talking."

"Ohya?"

"New 5-6 words but can make the spirit of life. Tomorrow I ask Mr. Koli to take it home."

Doctor Farhana nodded with a smile.

"Yesterday there was a videographer who came to the aviary, huh, Doc?"

"It came 3 days ago. Since yesterday the videographer took part in a forest police patrol looking for Halmahera Angel in its natural habitat."

Thankful that everything went well as expected. I'm relieved. After the opening chat I and the doctor Farhana decided to work in the aviary accompanied by the birds chirping. Doctor Farhana shows off a new exotic made tree house with no walls. He claimed it as a place of work as well as the most comfortable bird watching.

I tried Dr. Hans's binoculars with Farhana's doctor's guidance. It's interesting to see the birds through this thing. We can see in more detail the movements of the birds. The wings of birds can be clearly identified. Small pepits that hide in the bushes can be peeked funny movements.

Unsatisfied with peeping, I took the initiative to document their behavior with a powershoot camera. This new animal observation activity is fun for me. Moreover, Farhana doctors provide a thick bird encyclopedia book as a guide to the identification and behavior of birds.

"We have already begun to make observations for the material of writing books on birds endemic to eastern Indonesia. It starts with a bent beak type." says Dr. Farhana about his next ambition. He seemed very enthusiastic.

"Can I help you? How's it?" tanyaku plain.

As an outback child who has not received higher education and has no experience of the outside world, I realize I have to be more active in asking questions. Asking won't make us look stupid unless we ask the same thing over and over again.

"Just die a bird with all his behavior and then record. How he eats, socializes, how to fly, how to lure the opposite sex, and everything about the bird's life are recorded. Once the record is complete enough just compiled into a book. This observation took a long time. But if for some species of parrots and parrots we have made observations long enough so that the observation and reference records are quite a lot. Ready to launch in a few months." Doctor Farhana smiled proudly at her achievements with her husband.

This couple is indeed a true bird lover. They already have big plans for bird conservation and breeding.

It doesn't feel like the day is starting to go by. Home assistant doctor Farhana delivered us lunch while taking Farhana doctor's toddler to take a nap inside the house. The atmosphere in the aviary still feels shady because many tall trees with a fairly close distance. The wind that blows also makes us comfortable in working. While in the aviary I did not hear any suspicious sounds that made me startled and wry. It's really peaceful here. I just want to sleep and do everyday activities here.

Suddenly, a group of people broke into the aviary. Mr. Koli and Santi who were at the bottom seemed to have difficulty dispelling them. Farhana's doctor and I rushed down leaving our equipment and observation records on top of the treehouse.

"Where do women not know themselves who have harmed Paradise?" asked Maudy rudely. Apparently he and his entourage came to the aviary because they thought I had harmed Bray. What a fitnah is this.

"What's the problem? Yuk, let's talk in the office and solve the problem properly." Doctor Farhana responded in a friendly manner. He could look at me. I shrugged my shoulders because I didn't know what Maudy meant to judge me.

"Who are you?" Maudy lifted her face haughtily.

Doctor Farhana reached out to shake hands, but Maudy folded her arms around her chest.

"I am doctor Farhana, the caretaker of this aviary." replied Farhana doctor firmly.

The veterinarian was also lured to Maudy by lifting his head. His hand was rejected.

"I have nothing to do with you."

"Surge! I only have business with him. No matter who you are. Don't interfere!"

I'm advancing. With an eye gesture I asked Dr. Farhana to step aside. I actually refused to serve the witch because I felt I had nothing wrong with her. But his finger was clearly pointing at me, I should buy it boldly.

"So you're the dumb apprentice who influenced Paradise to cancel our engagement."

"If indeed your engagement is void, it has nothing to do with me, Maudy said. But because Maudy's attitude is too possessive and controlling."

"Eh, pinter said yes apparently."

"We only have a working relationship with Firdaus mas." Farhana's doctor tried to defend me.

"What job relationship? Why make a big bird cage like this. You're the ones who influenced Firdaus to waste money on this kind of useless thing."

Brucks. Maudy kicked a large wooden box that was nearby.

The box rolled over and the lid came off. Maudy grimacing. The contents of the box in the form of larvae that are used to bird food spread everywhere to make a pack of Koli hassles reunite it.

Maudy looked at the larvae that were scattered and walked to and fro with her expanding belly. The expression on his face showed a combination of disgust, fear, and anger. He tiptoed away from the barrage of larvae that plied his smooth legs. Some of his friends pulled him out of the aviary. I smiled seeing him. Kapok kapok kapok kapok. Salah himself casually kicked the belongings of others. Eat that larva. Haha.
