My food wasn't finished when Adnan walked into the clinic room with 2 men in police uniforms. One policeman was carrying a large bag. Others carry documents along with arrows that have been wrapped in clear plastic. Seeing their arrival, my appetite suddenly evaporated.
"The three of us are at the scene, sir. Mr. Director, myself and Mr. Fifa." explained Mr. Adnan without further ado.
Apparently he had undergone a police examination in the laboratory. The police arrived while he was handing over the arrows to the company's chemical lab officers.
The police asked for my identity card and took it down. The two policemen asked a lot of questions that were sometimes denied logic. Of course I answer honestly and consistently based on facts I know.
The interrogation lasted for more than 2 hours. According to the police, the interrogation was brief because I was cooperative and what I was. For severe cases, interrogation can be done all day even more.
"In the meantime, this is enough evidence. I'll print all your captions. Please read and sign BAP today. At any time if additional information is needed you will be questioned again at the police station."
"I'm ready, sir."
One cop printed the information I just told you. The others enter the VIP room of the clinic to find Bray who will be the next to be examined.
After reading quickly and signing BAP, I asked for permission to enter the VIP room of the Clinic.
Bray was laid back with an infusion hose stuck to the back of his hand. He had changed into a short-sleeved blue shirt. While the white shirt previously worn has been inserted into clear plastic and will be taken by police as one of the evidence. The wound on his arm had been neatly sewn and bandaged.
He smiled to see me in the room. His face was no longer pale. "I'm sorry I couldn't take you home, Fifa. Later Hisham's brother will take you."
"No need to apologize. I was wrong. Bray shouldn't have taken me home."
"Don't blame yourself. It's called disaster. Thank you for helping me to avoid being targeted by real arrows."
I was just about to open my mouth, but Bray had already resumed his sentence.
"The results of my blood and urine tests are out. Arsenic levels are high but still within normal limits. Everything's safe and it'll be fine." Again, he assured me that he was okay.
He showed me a wound on his arm. "It was stitched up and given medicine. In a few days the wound must be dry. There's nothing to worry about" he said with a smile. There was a hint of bitterness that seemed to be on her smile.
"alright. I'm going home now. It's almost maghrib. Mama must have waited."
"Sister Hisham, please take Fifa home. Make sure everything's safe."
"Ready." said Hisham quickly and firmly.
"The situation is safely under control, Mr. Firdaus. There are already our members on guard around Mala's mother's house." The police officer with the badge named Doni told Bray the current condition. My house is under police surveillance without a uniform.
Bray gave a thumbs-up and a big smile. The two policemen are preparing to undergo further questioning sessions against Bray as a witness to the victim. In order not to interfere with the investigator's duties, I immediately walked out of the room. It's only in my interest to ensure Bray's condition. Thank God it was much better than I had imagined.
It's been a really exhausting day. My body feels crumpled. The bones feel like they're falling out. Really tired physically and mentally.
"So you look so tired, Fifa."
"Yes. Very tired."
"It has to be calm. Don'tbeafraid. The police will soon arrest the man who harmed you. I'll be home, rest. Tomorrow there will be a security guard from the office who will escort you anywhere."
"Sa tara needs a bodyguard."
"Mas Bray wants everything safe. As long as the mysterious archer hasn't been caught alive ngana is still threatened."
I'm not sure the archer threatened my life. If so, I am sincere. Supposedly if that person was intent on killing it would be easier to kill while I was living alone in the baba relic house. I guess that person just wants to make me sad, scared or depressed by killing my beloved people and animals. The ones threatened at this time might be mama and Aga.
I miss my mom and Aga. I hope both are safe and well.
Fatigue makes me lazy to talk, lazy to think and lazy to move. During the trip from PT XY's office to the house I just leaned on the car seat.
The sun was almost sunk but the red mega had not yet appeared to decorate the cloudy sky. I got out of the car that drove me to the front of the house. Hisham had said he could not stop by because his work at the office was not finished. The car was ordered to stop until I entered the house to ensure my safety.
Two unidentified men sat chatting on the front porch of the house enjoying a cup of coffee and sweets placed in a jar.
"Assalamu'alaikum, gorgeous. How are you?" Aga first greeted me before I said greetings to the residents and guests who were sitting on the front porch of the house.
I looked and smiled. Glad to see Aga's whereabouts are fine. "Wa'alaikumsalam, Aga handsome." I replied as I waved at him.
Between anxiety and kangen, before greeting guests and house people I choose to first enter the aviary to meet my best friend Aga.
Once inside, Aga flew low and then alighted in my arms. This is the spoiled habit of Aga I miss. He's so tame and smart. The striking twisted beak bird still recognized me even though it had not met for days. He seems to miss me too.
"I'm sorry I went away too long. I've met my grandmother and uncle in Makassar, Aga." Kuelus-elus hair Aga head and massage it up to the back with a soft touch.
Aga's fur is getting smoother. The appearance of this male ternate parrot is increasingly authoritative. I have to thank my mother for taking care of him so lovingly during my time away. My beloved bird looks healthy and strong.
"How are you. How are you." Aga replies by repeating the same word.
"My news isn't very good, Aga." I'm honest. I took a breath that filled my chest so I could smile with relief.
"Pretty. Well-favoured. How are you." Aga moves agilely in my arms. His head turned to the left right irregularly like a confused person looking for something. His footrest moved over a short distance. Nuri is not good at dancing like the Angel of Halmahera. Rarely seen flapping wings and maneuvering with beautiful movements. His best skill was babbling and whistling with a loud voice.
"You know, Aga. Said my man was a fucking carrier. Because I'm the people closest to me must be troubled or wretched. This week there were 2 bad events. Grandma had to sell the house and rent a smaller house due to my arrival. Bray almost got killed today when he was about to drive me home. What is my fault, Ga? Why are the people around me hurting?"
"Pretty. Pretty." Aga's head stumbled. His eyes looked at me with pity.
"I love you, Aga. I hope you're not wretched because of me. You can go as you please." I said half frustrated. Aga is my best friend. I don't want to lose him.
"No. No."
Ah, you have Aga's new vocabulary. You can say no even if your voice is faint. I hope you will never get hurt because of me. Stay my best friend.
"You're full, aren't you, Aga? I was so tired and I hadn't met my mom. I went in the house first. We'll talk again tomorrow morning."
You understand what to do. The light red, twisted beak bird mixed with green and yellow stabilo flapping its wings to be able to move the beach from my arm to the branch of the walnut tree. Although not able to talk much, Aga is a very smart bird. He always understood what I meant and how my mood was.
"Assalamu'alaikum, Beautiful." Aga returned to say hello with a cry before I came out of the aviary.
I looked again at the branch of the young walnut tree where Aga was perched. Although dusk has ushered the earth in the dimness of Aga can always be searched easily because its body hair is very striking. I was always tempted to smile at him. The color of the fur is beautiful and the behavior is always adorable.
"Wa'alaikumsalam." I replied as I waved at him.
"You're home, Fifa."
I was surprised to hear my mother's voice greeting me. Unbeknownst to me, he was standing at the door of the aviary. Mama immediately hugged my body very tightly and kissed my tubers many times. I haven't had a shower since I woke up.
"Fifa stinks huh, Ma?"
Mama laughed and let go of her embrace, "Whatever you want is still precious to mama, Fifa. Thank God you came home safe. That's all that makes my mom happy." Mama pinched my nose while smiling.
It was my turn to be moved and re-hugging my mother without caring about the smell of my body.
"How's Firdaus doing?"
"Still in the care of doctors at the company clinic."
"His condition?"
"Good."
"Alhamdulillah. God still protects you both."
Mama grabbed my shoulder and took me to the veranda and introduced the 2 guests who were sitting on the bamboo chair. "These fathers are the policemen assigned to guard here. Mama told me to keep it on the porch just so we're safer."
I smiled and nodded my head at the two guests the police mama said.
"Good afternoon by evening, sir. I'm Fifa."
"Good night, sister Fifa. Tonight we stand guard here at the command of the commander."
"Thank you for the help, sir. Please let me go inside first."
"Oh, please!"
