POV Word
I woke up with a pain in my head. The doctors examined me carefully. I have nothing to complain about except the pain in my head. However, over time I felt something strange. When the doctors asked me what happened, I didn't remember it at all. And when they asked me about my identity. I'm losing my memory! According to the doctor, I had temporary global amnesia. This occurs due to damage to the part of the brain that functions to form the limbic system. The limbic system regulates emotions and memories.
The people who were waiting for me in the hospital treated me very well and with great respect. They called me with the call 'Sirman'. It seems to be my name.
After a few hours, two men came claiming to be my parents and in-laws. He was the only one who communicated with the doctors, because I was considered unable to provide information.
The two men looked very sad when they found out that I had amnesia. He was both trying to remind me of my own identity. But no, I really don't remember anything.
For a few days, I had a variety of tests. From physical tests, blood tests, MRI, CT scan to electroencephalogram. I don't know what they got from all the test results, until I was finally allowed to go home.
Going home? Where am I supposed to go?
The two men, who claimed to be my father and father-in-law, immediately took me to the airport. Both of them often seem to talk seriously. They kept calling out the names of the Lintang and the Eagle, which I finally knew were the names of my wife and children.
After a long journey, we finally arrived at a large house with a very large yard. The house is no stranger to me.
Papa and Dad looked very tense as soon as we got out of the car. We, escorted by several men, entered a large open door. Unexpectedly, a woman with a large belly immediately ran over and hugged me very tightly.
"I'm worried, Man. I'm afraid you're okay" she cried.
I'm rattled. What am I supposed to do?
I held her shoulders, and I kept her body away from me.
"Sorry, who are you?" my many.
The woman looked surprised, she looked at me in disbelief.
"Ma ... Mr. .. what is this? Why is the Word like this?" ask Papa and Father.
"Firman .. memory loss, dear," replied Papa.
"What?! It's not funny, Pa!" the woman looked so beaten.
"Your father is honest, Lin. Your husband's amnesia." This time, Father spoke.
I can only be quiet.
"No way!" his yell.
"Don't tell Mama you know this too." His eyes implied so great a disappointment.
"We don't want you to worry, Lin. Remember your content. Cassian she's if you get stressed." A mother with a socialite dress up spoke.
"Why, Ma ...? Why does this always happen at the same latitude? Is it not enough that has happened the same latitude? Lintang lost her first baby. Latitude almost died when pregnant Eagle. And now ... look! Even Lintang's own husband doesn't know Lintang! What latitude is wrong, Ma?"
It felt like my heart was sliced open when I heard him say that. I wanted to run and hug him who had broken down on the floor. However, my body did not react at all.
"Istigfar, Son. Don't do this. Kasian your baby." The beautiful mother called 'Mama' was burrowing the woman into his arms.
"Yes, everybody's the same as this baby, but it's not the same latitude" the woman beat her belly.
"Don't!" Everyone was screaming at the same time.
I'm flabbergasted. Is this my fault?
Suddenly a boy came out of a door and came closer to us.
I close my eyes, not believing what I see. The boy had a face exactly like mine. I see myself as a small version.
"Father!" The boy ran towards me while stretching out his hand.
Unexpectedly, Lintang immediately ran and disappeared behind the door slammed hard. Mom and Dad ran after her.
"Father, Eagle kangen." The boy was still stretching out his hands in front of me.
I was gamang, but the next second, my hand reflexively lifted the small body. He hugged my neck tightly, making me almost suffocate.
"Papa said it was only two days, but why did Papa go so long?" he asked while hiding his face in the recess of my neck.
Everyone is looking at me.
"Sa .. I ...." I can't say anything.
"Papa's accident, huh? Mama until fainting knows, the time of the accident Papa. Sama Oma was taken straight to the hospital." The boy held my cheeks, looked at my face. "Just a little wound."
This kid is so smart. I immediately fell in love with him.
"Elang, Eagle is the same Princess first, yes." A mother in modern Javanese clothes tried to persuade a child called by the name of Eagle to come down from my sling.
"No way, Eyang. The eagle still wants to be with Papa. The eagle's afraid Papa's gone again." He tightened his embrace.
"It's okay, Mom. Let the Eagle be with me first," I said.
"You want to be the Eagle?" ask the mother.
I'm shaking. Mother looks very sad.
"Kasian is your wife, Le," she said, crying again.
I took a deep breath. I don't know what to do. Everything feels foreign to me.
The eagle asked to come down and dragged me towards the latitude earlier. Papa and Mama were still standing in front of a large carved door. It seemed like the two of him had not managed to persuade Lintang to open the door.
"Well, Oma's coming in?" ask Eagle.
"It looks like your mom needs time to be alone, El," Papa said.
"Why Mama, Opa? Mama's sick?" The eagle looked worried.
Mom and Dad did not give any answers.
"Ma ... Mama .. can the Eagle come in?" ask Eagle. That door was like that. Apparently this is her mother's room.
"Ma ...."
"I .. yes, dear. For a moment," an answer came from inside the room.
Seen relief on the face of opa and oma Eagle.
There was the sound of the key being turned, the cleavage of the door was opened. And came the latitude, with an appearance that did not look okay.
The eagle pulled my hand to enter the room. Very spacious room, with minimalist furniture, it feels familiar.
"Papa came home, and Mama was sad" he asked, pulling his mother's hand down to crouch. The hair of the mother is a mess. And rubbed the traces of tears on his cheeks.
Oh my God, this kid is so nice. It is very obvious that he loves his mother.
"Mama's angry, huh, same Papa? It must be because Papa did not keep his promise to go home for two days. Old dad, go home. So make Mama angry and worried."
The words of the Eagle made my heart break. Is that the reality?
The woman simply rubbed the Eagle's hair while biting her lips, holding back a cry.
"navig ... Eagle same Oma same Opa first, yuk. Let Mama talk to Papa. Mama and Papa haven't seen each other in a long time," suddenly the Eagle came into the room.
"But Papa won't go again, won't Oma?" asked the Eagle while looking up at his omana.
"No, Honey. Papa's not going anywhere" replied Opa.
"Elang comes out first, yes Ma, Pa. Mama don't be mad anymore, Kasian Papa. Papa also has to apologize for not keeping his promise," said the Eagle before leaving with his oma and opa.
Now I am alone with this woman who is called my wife. But there was no sound between us. I looked at the whole corner of the room. A large photo shows a picture of a couple, smiling happily in a tuxedo and a very beautiful wedding dress, mounted just above a large bed.
"I don't know where to start, but I'm really sorry, I don't remember anything." I'm trying to start a conversation.
The woman took a long breath. There were clear crystals rolling from the corner of his eye.
It hurts to see that woman cry. However, I can't do anything.
"Come ...," he said.
"What?" I'm sure of what this woman said.
"Comeout. I also can't think clearly. I need some time to think" he said.
"All right," I said. I also walked towards the door.
"Man ...." He's calling someone.
With doubt, I turned around.
"You call me?" I asked while pointing at myself.
"Yes, you, Rizky Firmansyah, my husband."
"Oh ...." I walked back to the front of the woman.
Tears were pouring down his cheeks. Both of his hands were touching my cheeks. Fatigue rubbing. I felt something flowing from his hand into my body.
"I'm happy you're home" he exclaimed. "Don't ever leave us again."
