Love of the Past

Love of the Past
Extra Part - Hunch

Apparently my concern about sympathetic pregnancy felt by the Word was too much. In fact, after passing the first trimester, the Word has not experienced nausea vomiting anymore. No more weird desires and annoying behavior.

And now everything is going back to normal. Every day I go through happiness. There is nothing happier than getting pregnant with the company of loved ones who always spoil me.

I really let go of all my work, not feeling lonely at home at all. Although sometimes miss exploring the country, the presence of the Eagle and baby who is predicted to be female, treating all longing.

The word that expanded his efforts never lessened the attention and time for me and the Eagle. Although he was busy and often out of town, he always paid his full attention to us. Outside of his busy life, Firman prefers to have an office at home rather than having to spend time in his skyscrapers. It all feels so perfect.

The weather is so sunny today. I was sitting in the backyard when suddenly someone poked his hand from behind.

"Aren't you home, honey?" I asked when Word kissed my cheek. "Have the meeting been resolved?"

"Udah," he said as he circled past the park chair and sat down beside me. "I miss you guys."

"Not all day yet, it's gone" I protested.

"Why? Can't you?" tanyanya while bending her face.

"Yes can dong, Pa." I rubbed his cheeks so he wouldn't sulk.

Like a boy who got a candy gift, Word immediately smiled widely. He rubbed my stomach lovingly. My content that has almost stepped on the eighth month makes my stomach look perfectly round.

"I can't wait for him to be born" he said.

"A little while now, Pa. Patience, yes." I stroked my distended stomach.

"She must be pretty like you," her hands moved from my belly to my cubby cheeks.

I just smiled a little. Kissed my soft forehead.

"Darling ...," the Word sounded hesitant to continue the sentence.

"Why? Must be because of your departure tomorrow, huh? Oh my, Man. I'm not okay. Only two days now. You're still used to it, too" I said.

"Of course, it's bad to go anywhere if you're not the same."

"Well, should I come?"

"No, I don't want you to go all the way, let alone use a plane" he concluded quickly.

"Yes, if so. You are the one who left. Just to Banjarmasin with Samarinda doang. It's not funny if the inauguration of your new office is not coming," I said trying to calm him down.

Word took a deep breath, like there was a burden on his chest.

"Are you all right, honey? Any issues?" my question is full of search.

"Nothing, but it feels ...." He hung up his sentence.

I took his hand and put it on my stomach.

"Papa, if Papa has a problem, Papa tells me the same story. I'm ready to listen" I said in a squeaked voice.

"No, Honey. Papa is okay. Even if there's nothing, Papa won't poison you with all of Papa's problems" Firman said, crouching down. I kissed my stomach a few times. And the fetus only replied with a gentle wiggle.

I'm just chuckling.

"Different girls same boys. The feeling I used to get kicked by the Eagle. This one's a real henchman," chirps Firman. The baby in my womb is not as active as the Eagle. She was more likely to be invited to compromise, probably because she was female.

"He's in the dalem just playing hide and seek, not like an Eagle who plays mulu ball," I said.

"So, what do you want now, honey? Before Papa left, Papa wanted to keep you with Mama" he said, still crouching in front of my stomach.

"It looks like Papa's fruit ice is making this hour. Lots of stuff in the fridge. And Mama also made a simple syrup yesterday," I still shrank my voice, as if it was a baby's request in my stomach.

"Okay, Papa's making it right now. Yuk!" The Word stood up and extended both of his hands to me. "Later Papa tengokin malem, yes. Let two days tomorrow Papa don't miss you, baby."

I rolled my eyes lazily. Mode!

...

Word has been gone since morning. He and Reno will attend the inauguration of the new building in Banjarmasin, then immediately check the preparation for the construction of a new branch office in Samarinda.

I sat on my own, choosing to pick up a sketchbook that I hadn't touched in a long time. Instead of drawing plans or sketches of buildings, I drew something else.

"Assalamu 'alaikum, Ma." Suddenly a voice surprised me.

"Wa 'alaikum greetings, dear. How was it today, fun?" I know my little guy who just got home from school. Since my stomach grew bigger and it was difficult to move agilely, the Eagle never asked me to drive or pick him up for school.

"Fun, Ma. Mother Mimi taught a new song, the title is I Little Teko. She wears style, you know, Ma. The Eagle Pusolekan. Mama and Papa should look," he said excitedly.

"Okay, Ma!" He held his thumb.

"What other pictures?" suddenly his eyes were fixed on the sketchbook that was on the desk.

"Oh, this ...."

"Why picture of a crybaby? Mama doesn't usually picture people" she asked as she took my book.

"Mama is just a fad, again" I said, taking the book back.

"Udah gih, honey, change clothes," I ordered.

"Yes, Ma." The eagle immediately ran outside.

I immediately grabbed my salary and made a call with a video call.

"Assalamu 'alaikum, dear," he said with a big smile.

"Wa 'alaikum greetings, dear. Did you finish the inauguration?" ask me while pointing the camera at the right position.

"Udah. This is staying friendly. Later, after lunch, I flew back to Samarinda. Let the spit be done. So tomorrow afternoon or late afternoon, I can go home" he said.

"Alhamdulillah, hopefully everything is smooth, yes Man," I said.

"Aamiinu. Eh, Eagle's home, hasn't he?"

"Udah, now get changed. Come here too." Sure enough, the Eagle was already at the door with a bear t-shirt and shorts.

"Well, Mom?" tanyakanya.

"Yes. Here, Papa wants to talk to the Eagle." I put my smartphone on him, and they immediately started a fun conversation.

...

This afternoon I was preparing a cocoa dress for the Eagle. In a moment, his Ustadz sir is coming. Every afternoon, Eagle activities are teaching.

"Ma, the Ustadz sir hasn't come yet?" asked the Eagle still with his bathrobes.

"Yet, Cute. In a moment," I replied. "Pake used to dress."

"Yes, Ma." Submissively, he immediately put on his clothes.

A knock on the door stopped my hand that was leaving the Eagle. I saw Teh Nana standing in front of the door with a tense face.

"Come in, Tea. What's up?" I asked while returning to the Eagle.

"There's a call for Mbak Lintang" he replied.

"Call from whom?"

"From ... his office Mas Firman, Ma'am," he replied sounding doubtful.

"Tumbent kok. Usually from the office, call him directly to the Word."

Nana Tea just looked down, not answering anything. Looks like someone covered it up.

"Let's just wait a minute, Tea, yeah" I said.

Teh Nana nodded and went straight out of the room.

"Mom pick up the phone first, Eagle wait for Mr. Ustadz in the library, yes," I said as I kissed the tip of my son's head.

"Yes, Ma." The eagle immediately shot into the library.

I came to the phone in the living room. The handle is still in the reverse position.

"Hello," I said.

"With Mother Latitude?" ask the guy across there.

"Yes, right."

"I am from the Prime Universe Banjarmasin branch, Mom. I would like to inform you that .. the car carrying Mr. Firman and Mr. Reno had a single accident."

"What?!"
