Love of the Past

Love of the Past
Meaning of Life (part 2)

Tirta asked the driver to stop. Across the street, he saw a martabak cart that was crowded with visitors. The woman's tears immediately fell when she saw that Genald was there. He seems busy serving customers so agilely. There was also a young man who appeared to help him.

"Sir, please buy Martabak over there, okay? Buy all the flavors." Tirta told the driver. This is indeed a new driver who replaces the old driver because it is old. And he doesn't know Genald.

"Good mistress."

Tirta gave 5 pieces of money in red. "If the price is not up to 500 thousand, just give the rest the same martabak seller."

"Good." The driver also got off. He crossed the road and headed to the martabak cart. He ordered all the flavors. Of course, Genald is very happy. There are 5 flavors available in this car.

After waiting for 40 minutes, Tirta finally finished his order.

"How much is it all, bang?" ask the driver.

"315 grand, sir."

"It."

"Lho, mostly. It's 500 rb." said Genald after counting the money.

"Make Brother. Excuse me."

"But ...." Genald could not catch up with the driver who had left because there was already a buyer coming. His eyes could still see where the buyer was going. Turns out his car was across the street. A white sedan type car. Like the car my mom used to use. But the driver is different. Maybe it wasn't my mom. How could you buy a martabak on the side of the road like this. After all, my mom doesn't like martabak.

When Tirta arrived home, Gerry and his family were there. Arya seems happy to play with both of Gerry's children.

"Well, mama brought martabak. It smells good." Gerry opened one of the boxes and put it in his mouth. "taste good. Where did you buy it?" ask Gerry.

Arya took a piece and put it in her mouth. "Well, good too."

Gerry's wife and children also ate it. Everyone praised the martabak's delicacy.

"Just know if it's good. Mama will buy again if you want a weekend here." Tirta tried to hold back her tears. He also did not say who the martabak seller was. He wanted to see how far his youngest son survived.

In a women's prison .....

Kintan woke up while holding her painful waist. Her pregnancy entering the 5th month made her feel less comfortable to sleep for a long time. He stood up and took some water.

It has been 2 weeks that Kintan returned to prison after he was hospitalized for multiple attempts to commit suicide.

After being accompanied by an ustadzah, Kintan now began to accept the fact that she was pregnant out of wedlock and became the scorn of others.

"Son, what's wrong with you?" ask his cellmate. A nearly 50-year-old mother who killed her husband after being caught cheating on him with her best friend. That name is Jena.

"I feel like my waist hurts a little bit, Mom. Sleep is less comfortable."

Jena smiled. He got up and held the hand of Kintan who was standing by the table. "That's how you get pregnant, son. Our bodies will often experience things like this. But believe me, when you see your child born, it's the most beautiful day of your life."

Kintan rubbed his stomach. "The love of this child will be born in prison."

"What is the judge's sentence for how many years?"

"3 years, Mom. But I want to appeal. Who knows, it could be lightened a little."

"And the father of this child?"

"Erdogan was sentenced to 3 years as well. Our punishment was light because it was proven that it was not you who told them to kill the poor woman. I don't know if he will appeal or not. I don't want anything to do with him either. My mom and dad said, if I get back in touch with him, they'll throw me away forever. I'll focus on keeping my pregnancy until delivery and my son will be nurtured by my father and mother."

Jena nodded. "Sleep, again. Tomorrow morning we have a study."

Kintan. Weight lives behind bars. But how else? Kintan must bear all the consequences of his bad deeds in the past. Regret is of no use. All his friends left him. Now Kintan knows how cruel the world is. Property is more important in everything.

"Good."

"Mommy's not going?"

"Mommy wasn't invited."

Gina sat next to her mother who was embroidery. "Until when should my mother and brother Eldar be like this? I'm sad to see how you are."

Elif smiled bitterly. "Eldar will never forgive mom."

"Try approaching sister again, mi. I know that my sister is so disappointed that she won't call my mom. But, mba Neva is a very nice guy, mi. Has she not been able to accept him as a daughter-in-law?"

Elif shaking. "Mommy's ashamed of him too."

"Ekel's a handsome boy, mi. Exactly the same with Eldar's brother as a child. Gratitude at the house of his sister as well as Ekel's sixth birthday. Come on dong, mi present."

Elif shaking. "Let your mom be like this. Mommy would rather be at home and knit clothes for your son."

Gina could only shrug her shoulders while throwing a rough breath. Really, he did not know how to make mami and her brother make up.

"Darling, have you contacted the orphanage we're going to invite Saturday?" asked Eldar as he entered the room and saw the wife who was temporarily doing her nightly routine with all her skincare.

"Already, mas. The show for Saturday will be in order. Ekel's asleep?"

"Yes. After I read out the 8 pages of the story. My mouth feels dry."

Neve stood up from her seat. He then approached Eldar and was looking at the white water that was always available in this room.

"That's how it is, my mom. Too spoiled by Dona and uncle Carlos."

Eldar put his hand on his wife's shoulder. "You're so pretty tonight."

"Modus, tell me to ask for rations."

"Yes. It's getting cold, it's."

Neva pulls her husband's hand and asks that the two sit on the sofa.

"Mas, before we make love and finally forget the time, I want to ask you something."

"What is that, dear." asked Eldar, holding Neva's hands together.

"Would it be Saturday, we won't invite Miss Elif?"

Eldar immediately threw away his face. He let go of his hand which held Neva's hand. "I don't want to see you yet, mom."

"But my mom would be sad to hear that we're having this event but didn't invite her."

"Mommy doesn't like you and Ekel. Why invite him? I don't want that until my mom's arrival it makes you and Ekel unhappy."

"But, mas."

"Nothing, but." Eldar instantly silenced Neva's mouth with his demanding kiss. Neva knew Eldar did it because he didn't want to talk about Elif anymore. She also did not want to hurt her husband. Neva welcomed the kiss warmly and fulfilled her duty as a wife to serve her husband.
