Love Story in Sidney

It did not feel like one year already Neva became a student at one of the prestigious universities in Sidney with a major in graphic design as he wanted.

Getting a scholarship to study here is certainly a very exciting thing for Neva. Especially considering the economic situation of his family. Neva's father died when Neva was in 2nd grade High School. Neva's an only child. His mother was a housekeeper who had worked for Mr. Arga for a long time. A wealthy businessman. Neva himself had gone to that house several times.

Neva gets a hostel for her to live in for free. He also got free food. He is also given an allowance to support his daily life and Neva works lungs time at a restaurant to just get extra pocket money for him.

Two semesters have been passed and the value of Neva is always the best in its class. He plans to finish his studies for 3.5 years.

His encounter with Eldar, begins when Eldar sees how Neva beats a snatcher so easily. Eldar was amazed at the girl who looked gentle yet could protect herself.

Neva did not expect that the action was seen by a handsome guy whose face resembled a Turkish actor. The man raised both his thumbs while smiling.

Not knowing why, Neva's heart skipped a beat as she received the man's sweet gaze.

Neva continued on her way to campus. He immediately headed to his class even though there were still 10 minutes left to start the lesson.

Dona is Neva's best friend. They both get scholarships. Dona is a student from the Philippines. The girl was beautiful with her wavy hair.

"Neva, someone's looking!" dona said as the girl had just entered class.

"Who?"

"I don't know."

Neva left the classroom and stopped to see who was standing there.

"You?"

The guy smiled back. I swear by anything, his smile was breaking down Neva's usual defense with guys.

"Neva, right?" ask the guy in very fluent Indonesian.

"You're Indonesian?"

"Yes. I'm Eldar!" the guy reached out his hand and Neva immediately greeted him.

"Taught here too?"

"Yes. The final semester architect. You were really great. Able to beat that snatch."

Neva blushed when praised.

"Oh yes, I am the chairman of the Indonesian student association. I'm here to invite you to attend a meeting of Indonesian students. You've never been here, have you?"

"Not yet."

"Saturday at the home of one of the Indonesian lecturers who taught here." Eldar then mentioned his address.

"I don't know that place."

"Do you want me to pick it up?"

Neva was silent for a moment. Even though the guy looks good, they are new to it.

"You're afraid to go out with someone you just met?" Eldar seemed to be able to guess the contents of Neva's heart.

"Eh.yeah." Yeah." Replied Neva was a little unwell.

"If you are afraid, we will take public transportation. There's no way that I'm saying you're in the car."

Neva smile. "All right."

"Can you get your phone number?"

Although still a bit hesitant, Neva also gave the number. After that Eldar leaves and Neva returns to class.

Starting from the event, Neva and Eldar get closer, until finally, 3 months after that, Eldar declares his love for Neva and they are officially dating

6 Months after they dated, Eldar graduated from college. Neva thinks that Eldar will return to Indonesia. Actually the girl was feeling sad but she also did not want to hinder Eldar.

"When to return to Indonesia?" neva asked when they were done with Eldar's graduation celebration. Both are now in Eldar's apartment. The guy just finished his bath and Neva was sitting in the living room. This is the second time Neva has come to this place.

"I will not return to Indonesia before you graduate from college" Eldar said, taking a seat next to Neva. He grabbed the girl's hand and held it tightly. "I don't want to go far with you, baby. There's a Joe chasing you."

Neva chuckles. Eldar is often jealous of Joe even though Neva always says that Joe is his best friend. Joe is the son of one of the leaders at this university. Joe's family is quite a distinguished family in Sidney because Joe's mother is a prosecutor and his father is a great teacher.

"Aren't you sure about me?" ask Neva.

Neva bowed. He always lost every time he had to look at Eldar. Eldar's eyes that always radiate coolness make Neva always blushed embarrassed.

"We've been dating for 6 months but you're still ashamed to look at me. Why?" asked Eldar gently as he continued to caress Neva's face.

"Who is ashamed?"

Eldar holds Neva's chin. Their faces are so close now. Eldar really wanted to do this from the first time they were made. But because Neva was always embarrassed, Eldar tried to restrain himself.

All this time, Eldar just kissed Neva's cheeks and hands. But this time, could he ask for more?

Neva is not Eldar's first girlfriend. But it was only Neva, the girl who had made Eldar fall in love the first time he saw her.

Slowly Eldar brought his face closer. Then he looked down and kissed Neva's lips. The girl was surprised.

"You're not angry, are you?" asked Eldar without taking his face away from Neva's face.

Neva shook her head even though she was really embarrassed. Eldar kissed Neva again. Teach the girl how to share love through a kiss on the lips.

"El, how come you never told me about your parents?" neva asked as the two were enjoying the first snowfall this year.

"What should I tell you?"

"You said your parents were still there. You are the first child and have a younger sister. But why is it that when you graduate they're invisible?"

Eldar fixing Neva's knitted hat. "I came to Sidney because I wanted to escape from them. That's why I'm not going back to Jakarta before you finish college."

Neva saw that there was a wound on Eldar's face. But he won't press until the guy says it himself.

"Darling, we're getting married, yuk!" bring Eldar.

"Ih...Eldars. We're still in college. You just graduated too. I promised my mom I'd come home with a hijasah, not a husband."

Eldar wrapped his hand around Neva's shoulder. "I'll be in charge of your life, baby. I'm even now while looking for a job while continuing my S2 studies."

"I heard you got a scholarship?"

"Yes. College starts in 3 months."

"I pray for you good luck?"

"Thank you, baby. You are the most beautiful thing I have to date."

Eldar finally got a job. He even gave most of his salary for Neva to be their capital to go home and get married.

Neva felt the same way. Eldar was so romantic, kind, so understanding that in the third year of their courtship, Eldar and Neva, who were making out in Eldar's apartment, became self-forgotten, lulled by the lust that controls the body, they finally did what unmarried people should not do.

"El, I'm afraid" Neva said at the end of her consciousness before Eldar united their bodies.

"I'll take responsibility, baby. We're getting married. I wouldn't have possibly left you. Believe it."

Neva resigned and surrendered herself. That night they promised that it was the first and last. But the turmoil of youth overcame everything. They also do that often. At first Neva feels safe because she uses a pregnancy-preventing pill she got from her best friend Dona.

However, during the celebration of Neva's graduation and Eldar's graduation in his master's program, Neva forgot to drink it.

A month later, Neva finds herself pregnant. He immediately called Eldar who was on duty to Singapore.

"You take it easy, baby. Don't panic, I'll be back in 4 days to Sidney and we'll be back in Indonesia soon. Just get everything ready so that when I get home, I'll resign immediately. We're back in Indonesia."

"Alright, El. Hurry home, huh?"

"Yes dear. Anyway you don't be afraid. That's not good for your body. Oh yeah, go to the doctor? Check your pregnancy while consulting your doctor about our return trip, whether it's safe for your womb or not."

"Good, El."

But in fact, 4 days after that, Eldar's phone can not be contacted again. 2 weeks later, Neva directly handle the company where Eldar worked accompanied by Dona's best friend. They said Eldar had resigned a week ago and returned to Indonesia. Neva's heart is broken. Is that how Eldar left him?
