Secret of Neva (part 2)

Neva stopped her car at a hospital. It came down in a very hurry. Since receiving the phone call last night, his mind had indeed not calmed down.

In front of treatment room number 12A, Neva stopped. He knocked on the door and opened it slowly.

There was a man in his 60s lying there. It looks like he's sleeping. Beside him was a handsome man sitting guarding him.

"Sir Neva!" the man immediately stood up and greeted Neva with a pleased face.

"How's uncle doing?"

"It's starting to stabilize his heart."

Neva breathed a sigh of relief. "Where's an aunt?"

"Mama went home with Dona. I'm asking Mama to rest at home."

Neva hugged the handsome man. Name's Enrick. The son of Carlos and Angelina. A couple who saved his life. He and Dona are considered the children of this family. Enrick loved them both very much.

"Why are you in Jakarta? Aren't you guys in America to attend your graduation?"

"We're planning a vacation, brother. But, papa wants to invite Ekel to come along. That's why we came here. But it happened so unexpectedly. Papa had a heart attack. The doctor said, papa's exhausted."

Neva looked at the man in his 50s whom he already considered to be his own parents. "Uncle, get well soon, will you?" Neva touched Carlos hand and held it gently. Her tears flowed considering how Carlos was one of the people who made her strong while facing the toughest thing of her life. Not only the material he gave but also the affection.

Enrick smiled happily. He knew Neva's arrival would make his father happy.

"Rik, you better take a break. Brother will keep uncle here."

Enrick nodded. He is also very sleepy. Neva lets Enrick sleep on the couch that's available there.

There was a sense of happiness on Neva's day when it was close to this family. They have different beliefs. But, when Neva was in the Philippines, they always reminded Neva to pray diligently.

3 Hours later, Neva lets Enrick sleep undisturbed by her. It seems that his sister is very tired. Until finally, Neva's phone rang. Eldar called him Videocall. Neva hastily entered the toilet.

"What's up, mas?" ask Neva.

"Where are you, baby?"

"In the toilet. Just finished peeing."

"Where is it?"

"Still in the activity area."

"When's home?"

"Maybe it's over 10 in the evening, ma'am."

"A long time. I'm lonely!" Eldar put on a face look that provides.

"Mas can be with Rangga."

"You know that Rangga is a silent man. I won't talk if I'm not spoken to."

Neva laughed hearing that. "Mas can be. Now I'm ending the call, right? I'm going back to work. Yea...." Neva came straight out of the bathroom. Carlos opened his eyes.

"Uncle ....!" Neva came closer. Enrick is awake.

"My son." Carlos smiled at Neva.

"What's strong?"

Carlos nodded. He was grateful to have hit Neva back then. He who once had only one child, now has three children.

Angelina also came. He hugged Neva. "Honey, you're even more beautiful after marrying your ex."

Neva blushed. There are no secrets with his adoptive parents. They even encouraged Neva to accept Eldar back after they found out that Eldar had never neglected Neva at all in his past.

"Eldar good, bi."

"And you love him so much. Does Mama Tirta know?"

Neva. "Mama Tirta doesn't know yet. I was so confused how to tell him. I know, Mama Tirta still hopes that me and General will be back."

"That's it. Don't go back to that toxic guy. Now go to the house."

"Good, bi. I'll be back tomorrow, okay?"

Neva also left the hospital. Heading to a house in a luxury residential complex. Just to get in, there was strict guard from his security guard.

Neva's car stopped at one end of the house and was some distance from the other houses. Neva came down smiling. He opened the gate and entered without knocking on the door that was open.

"Assynnya!" greet Neva

A little boy ran out of a room. "Mommy.....!"

Jakarta almost 6 years ago ...

"Neva, relax. ....!" Angelina holds Neva's hand.

"Don't take my son, God...! Don't.....!" shout Neva.

Angelina immediately hugged the baby from the nurse's hand and asked the nurse to help the doctor and midwife.

While the medics struggle to save Neva, Angelina puts the baby in a special cot. He patted the little baby's cheek while giving a massage on his chest. As someone who works in the mother and child foundation, Angelina already has a lot of experience with the birth of a troubled baby.

"Get blood for transfusion!" the doctor panicked.

Suddenly.......

The baby chokes and makes a small sound until he cries very loudly.

The doctor and the midwife looked at each other. "God hu Akbar!" said the doctor. "Mother Neva, fight, my son is alive."

Neva who almost lost consciousness still had time to listen to the words of the doctor. God, give me a chance to live.

For 2 weeks, Neva and her son underwent intensive care in the hospital.

Carlos came and named the boy Annavaran Miracle, which means Miracle given by God. He was given the nickname Ekel.

When Neva returns to live with her mother in the Aryan family home, Neva always meets her son, who is guarded by Donna and Carlos with his wife. They love Ekel. So too with Mrs Tirta.

Until finally Neva was betrothed to Genald by Mr. Arya. Neva actually desperately rejected him. But madam Tirta desperately wants Neva to be his son-in-law in the hope that Neva can bring a change to Genald's spoiled attitude. Because Neva's mother was very ill, Neva eventually agreed to marry even though she died a week after her marriage.

"Dear el, where's mommy Donna?" Neva hugged her son. Want to see from any side, this child is very similar to Eldar. Neva wanted to tell Eldar about his son, but Neva was still afraid of Eldar's reaction, as well as Ekel's reaction. This child is not easy to accept others who are strangers to him.

"Mommy Donna is taking a shower. Ekel's happy mommy Eva's here." That's how Ekel called him. No one taught, suddenly when Ekel spoke, he called Neva Eva. Just like the way Eldar called him.

Every day, Neva always took the time to play with Ekel. Except if Ekel brought Donna to the Philippines because indeed Mr. Carlos has not become the ambassador of the Philippines to Indonesia.

This house is the gift of Mr. Carlos to Ekel. He wanted his grandson (that's what Mr. Carlos called him) not to live in an apartment but in a house with a large yard so that Ekel could be content playing.

Mrs Angelina is still often to Jakarta because of the foundation she manages. Mrs Tirta also regularly visits Ekel once a week.

If Genald doesn't come home, Neva is happy to spend his time here.

Neva took the time to feed Ekel dinner after which he decided to go home after putting Ekel to sleep.

"Nev, you're married to Eldar. Why haven't you been honest about Ekel?" ask Donna.

"I'm scared, Na. I dare not let alone our marital status that is still hidden. I don't know how Eldar's family reacted when they found out about me, let alone about Ekel. I don't want Ekel to not calm down. My son is happy with his life now. He abounds in affection from me, you, mama Tirta, even uncle Carlos' family."

Donna just shrugged her shoulders. There was actually something he still kept. But he was also afraid to tell Neva.

At 10pm Neva arrived at her apartment. Eldar is not. Neva called her husband, but Eldar was in his unit. When Neva had finished bathing, Eldar was already in the room.

"Capek huh?" asked Eldar and hugged Neva who was sitting on the sofa.

"Not really. Have you eaten?"

"It has. It was with Rangga. It just so happens that Rangga is today's birthday."

"Well, I didn't get to congratulate dong. Where is Rangga now?"

"Maybe you're asleep."

"Mas, Rangga already has a girlfriend?"

"Why is that?"

"If not, I want to match Rangga with someone."

"Who? Donna?"

The deg! Neva is surprised that Eldar mentioned Donna's name. Hasn't it been a long time?

"Why did you suddenly mention Donna's name?"

"Who else is your friend besides Donna?"

Neva swallowed his saliva. "How do you know we're still friends?"

"I see that she always likes whatever you share on your social media accounts."

"Oh...." Neva hurriedly smiled. "We sleep yuk, mas."

Eldar held Neva's hand. "Darling, I feel like today you seem to be lying to me."

"You're not from work, are you?"
