Is There a Sense?

The plane carrying Eldar and Rangga was long gone. But somehow Neva has not yet moved from the airport. He is still sitting among the other passengers who are waiting their turn to leave.

Eldar's words before leaving were ringing back.

"I know that I'm the cause of unhappiness in your current marriage. Your condition that is no longer a virgin when married becomes a thorn in your marriage. But don't let Genald always put pressure on you because of it. Dare to go. Because out there, there are still a lot of guys who will accept you without bringing up your past."

Neva doesn't know what Eldar's words mean. He also did not understand why Eldar had to ask him to talk while the man hated him so much. There are no loving eyes like before. And Neva didn't expect it to exist either. Because he wouldn't believe her at all.

Neva's phone rang. There's a call from Genald. Lazily Neva shifted the green mark.

"Honey, where are you?" ask Genald gently. Neva was sure that Genald was with his mother.

"There's outside. Meet the client."

"Darling, get to your mom's house, huh? Mama's waiting for us to have dinner together."

"Good."

Neva knew what her in-laws meant to take them to dinner. It must be because I wanted to ask if Neva was pregnant or not. Rushing he left the airport to stop by the cake shop for a while before heading to his in-laws house.

Every time Neva comes to this house, she always remembers her mother. Indeed, only a few years his mother worked here. Because the Saloka family was in Malang. After Neva gets a job and buys an apartment, she asks her mother to move in with her. But his mother would not. He could not bear to leave the Saloka family which became his workplace since his mother was even a girl.

"Mama...." Neva returned the hug. "Here, I'll bring papa's favorite cake."

"Papa must be happy to take it, son. Come inside!"

In this house, Neva used to be a maid's son. However, the hostess and the hostess always considered Neva to be her own son. She is married and lives in Australia with her husband. He's the one who helped Neva get a scholarship to Sidney.

Arya was very pleased with the presence of her daughter-in-law. He loved Neva like his own son because he never considered Neva's parents as his best friend and not his servant. Neva is also a smart child who never troubled his parents. That's why he betrothed Neva to his son Genald.

"Neva, you better stop working. Because being too tired will make it difficult for women to get pregnant" said Arya when they finished dinner.

"Pa, there are a lot of projects that Neva is working on. Maybe until next year Neva can't leave Neva's job."

"You just stay here, son. So that you are not preoccupied with housework if here the year is in order, right? There you have no helpers" Tirta said.

"Ma, Neva's office is closer than her apartment." Genald immediately said quickly before Nev agreed to his mother's proposal. He can no longer be free if he lives in this house.

"Yes, ma." Neva continued.

"Then you sleep here tonight?" arya. Neva could only nod while Genald looked a little annoyed.

Finally Neva can rest. After bathing and using her pajamas, she laid her body down. He remembered Eldar's words at the airport before the man left.

Why does he still care about me if he doesn't love me? Why should I also be affected by all his words?

The door to the room is open. Genald came in and opened his shirt. Neva found out that her husband had just gotten his advice from his father.

He went into the bathroom. Neva got up and prepared clothes for Genald after which he laid back his body.

"What do you want?" neva asked as she sensed that Genald was holding her from behind.

"You heard earlier, didn't you, if you want to see your granddaughter immediately from our wedding. So you serve me this meal."

"I'm tired, mas." Neva turned her back and was surprised to see that Genald was not using anything anymore.

Genald doesn't care about Neva's complaints. He immediately pulled on Neva's pajamas and without warming up, he immediately united himself with Neva.

Neva's tears fell as she felt a wound at the core of her body. That's what Genald always did to him.

If only Genald would ask for it gently. Had Genald been willing to warm up even if only a little, Neva would not have felt any pain every time they were in contact.

It felt like Neva kicked Genald who was now enjoying his body without caring about the pain that Neva experienced in the core of his body. But her in-laws' room was next to theirs. Neva didn't want to make a fuss that would make her in-laws wake up.

Eldar was relieved that he was finally able to win the tender in the Philippines. He has been able to develop his family business into the hospitality field.

He had to go home today because Kintan was a little sulking because Eldar had not come home in case he wanted to have a special time with his lover.

"Master CCTV is hidden in Miss Neva's house already installed. It can only be seen from the connected app on your new phone" Rangga said, handing over Eldar's new phone.

"Thank you." Eldar opened the app. He saw Neva fighting with Genald.

Genald finally left while Neva seemed to be only able to take a deep breath. Like Genald asked for money and Neva wouldn't give it. Eldar did get the info that Genald's salary money was transferred to Neva's account.

I don't know why Eldar's heart ached to see the unhappy Neva. I don't love her anymore. I don't want it. Do not let this feeling affect my mood to be with Kintan.

"Master, let's go now" said Rangga, breaking the Eldar's daydream.

The two immediately stepped out of the hotel room. Rangga then stopped by the receptionist to check out while Eldar sat on one of the couches in the lobby.

Shortly after, a woman approached the boy. The woman wears sunglasses.

"My son, look at your dirty mouth because of chocolate." The woman took a tissue and cleaned her child's mouth.

"Mommy.....!" the boy was seen protesting because his mother bullied him who was eating chocolate.

Eldar smiled looking at that scene. Is my son that big now? Inner Eldar.

"Come on baby!" the woman pulled her son's hand.

"Mommy, can I grow your sunglasses?"

"Sure!" the woman opened her sunglasses and put them on her son's nose.

Eldar was stunned as he realized who the woman was. "Dona?"

Tomorrow is a grand engagement at the Daksiano family home.

Apparently Kintan will go home with a face upset because his prospective fiancee has not returned from the Philippines.

"She promised to go home yesterday. But to this day, he hasn't come yet" Kintan said with teary eyes.

"Patience son. For sure, Eldar will come tomorrow." Elif hugged her future daughter-in-law.

"Yes already. I'm just going home. I need a quick break so that tomorrow there's no black ring in my eyes." Kintan wiped his tears. He approaches Neva who seems to be still busy with his crew. Neva was actually listening to the conversation but he pretended to be ignorant.

"Neva, I'll go home first, okay?"

"Enough rest? Do not forget to take vitamins. How's dress?"

"I like it a lot. The size is very fitting." Kintan hugged Neva. "Daddy...."

Neva patted Kintan on the shoulder before letting go of his embrace. He also felt that Eldar was outrageous. It's only right if Kintan is worried. Tomorrow was their special day but Eldar seemed more concerned with his work.

Neva asked her crew to stop because the time was 11 p.m. Tomorrow morning they have to be here because there is still a lot of work to be done.

After leaving the family, Neva is escorted to the apartment by a company car. During this week Neva felt calm because Genald was following his papa, duty to Surabaya.

When he got out of the car, Neva didn't come in. He deliberately sat in the park in the front yard of his apartment.

"Duh, I'm so hungry. Eat some chocolate first, ah." Neva took out a bar of chocolate from her bag. He really likes chocolate.

While enjoying her chocolate, Neva sees someone walking up to her. As the man got closer, Neva realized it was Eldar.

"Eldar, what are you doing here? Your whole family is waiting for you" Neva said as she stood up.

Eldar stared at the chocolate Neva was holding. He then approached Neva.

"Goddess....!"

Neva looked at Eldar's different eyes. There was no more hatred like he had shown since they met again a month ago.

"What's wrong?" ask Neva. His voice became very slow due to the distance between them being so close.

Eldar suddenly hugged Neva tightly. "I'm sorry for making your life suffer. I'm sorry for leaving you. Whatever reason I'll explain to you, it won't pay for all the suffering you've been through" Eldar said with a slightly trembling brother.

Neva frowned. Is Eldar crying?

Eldar broke the embrace between them. "If I could turn back time, I would never let you be like this."

"Eldar.." That's all Neva can say. Eldar's embrace smothered his chest. Neva even felt that right now she was going to cry.

Eldar's phone rang so that it broke the embrace between them. Eldar saw who called him.

"Call, Ki. I-i know. I'm sorry, huh? I just arrived in Jakarta and on my way home. You slept well. See you tomorrow's. Love you baby."

Neva felt her chest tight. It was as gentle as that Eldar had called him. Very convincing to hear.

Eldar looked back at Neva. No conversation was made between them until Neva took the initiative to enter. "I want in. Good night." Then he turned his body and immediately stepped.

"Gener.....!"

Neva's steps stopped. It was a special call from Eldar for him.

"If you're not happy with your husband, just leave him."

Neva turned her body. "I'll try to be happy with him. I'm sure that I can." Neva said and immediately resumed his steps. Eldar, why do you still care about me?
