Elif's eyes were wide open to see who was standing in front of the fence of his house. Elif had just come home from a monthly shopping spree and she saw someone standing there.

Neva's face immediately smiled as she looked at her in-laws car. He bowed respectfully while waiting for what reaction the mother-in-law would give.

The gate of the fence opened, but there was no sound from Elif. He just looked at Neva and then closed the windshield again.

Maybe I'm not liked. The Heart of Neva.

He opened the car door and prepared to leave.

"Mrs Neva, Elif's mistress is waiting in the living room" said the security guard, stopping Neva's body from getting into her car.

Neva immediately smiled happily. He put his car into the yard.

This is the umpteenth time Neva has come here. This time the atmosphere is different.

Elif was already sitting in the living room when Neva came into the house.

This time Neva felt something different from the gaze of a woman who still looks beautiful at her age who is no longer young.

"Assalamualaikum, Lady Elif." said Neva trying to calm the pounding heart that beats very fast.

"Vaalaikumsalam. Sit down, son." said Elif, raising his hand to show the sofa in front of him.

Neva sat in front of Elif. There was a hint of relief in his heart as Elif mentioned 'son' at the end of his sentence.

"What's up, Neva?" elif asked in a friendly manner.

"I'm here, would like to invite the lady to attend my housewarming ceremony and Eldar. Thank you for the birthday of our son, Ekel."

"Did Eldar tell you?"

Neva. He doesn't want to lie. "I invited my mistress myself because, Ekel must know that she has a grandmother who will surely love her."

Elif's tears fell but he hurriedly wiped them away. "Why would I go there if my own son didn't want me?"

"But I really want your presence, madam. I know that Eldar loves you very much. It's just that he's still angry because of what you've done in the past. Eldar just doesn't understand that you did it because you love him and want what's best for Eldar."

Elif looked at Neva with a million regrets in his heart. "Eldar didn't pick you wrong. You're the best woman for Eldar. Forgive me for being too concerned about possessions and thrones to ignore my own feelings."

Neva moved seats. He sat next to Elif. "Madam, I've forgotten the past ever since Eldar and I got back together. I swear by nothing, there is no grudge in my heart. I love Eldar and that means I love you."

Elif hugged Neva. He threw away all the shame, prestige and resentment that had been in his heart. He embraced Neva with a new feeling. A mother's affection for her daughter-in-law.

"Mommy.....!"

The embrace between them broke upon hearing the call. Ekel entered with a security guard.

"He was crying because he woke up and couldn't find you, madam" the security guard explained.

"Oh baby ....!" Neva stood up and approached her son. He held Ekel and kissed her son's cheek to calm her down. Earlier, he picked Ekel from school and continued by accompanying Ekel to play in the mall. So on the way here, Ekel actually fell asleep because of fatigue.

"Mommy, is that grandma?" ekel asked while pointing at Elif. Neva has been showing Ekel a picture this week.

"Yes dear." answered Neva.

The Elif who had been standing behind Neva was moved again. "He knows about me?"

"I always told you who her grandmother was. I've been showing you a picture of the mistress this week." Neva said.

"Why does mommy call grandma mistress? Shouldn't mommy call grandma with mommy calls too?" ekel asked with her innocent look. Neva looked at Elif. The woman who was smiling between her tears immediately nodded.

"Yes, honey. Your mommy just called you wrong" Elif said. "May grandma hug, Ekel?" ask Elif.

Ekel looked at her mother. "Of course, honey. Grandma can hug you."

Ekel moves from Neva's embrace to Elif's. Elif held her granddaughter in an unstoppable cry.

O Allah, forgive me my sins. Elif said in the heart.

"Grandma's happy, really. Grandma was crying because she was too happy. Ah Ekel, you look a lot like your Daddy" Elif said with a happy feeling.

Neva breathed a sigh of relief. Everything is now done. Just see how Eldar feels.

The meeting of Elif and Ekel is temporarily a secret between Neva and Ekel. Neva said it would be a surprise for Daddy Eldar later.

The ceremony was held on the front and side pages of Eldar and Neva's house.

"Dona, you look pale. You sick?" ask Neva.

"No. I've just been sleeping a lot lately" said Dona with a slightly blushing face.

"Why?" ask Neva wonder.

"Rangga every night asking for rations. I was surprised by it. After marriage he's a little maniac."

Neva chuckles. "Like boss like assistant."

"Is that Eldar like that too?"

"What science?" asked Eldar who had somehow appeared from where they had been.

"Wait a little more, Mom. Please....!" Neva's eyes looked back at the gate. Shortly afterwards he immediately smiled when a red car entered the gate. Eldar turned his head towards the gate wondering who his wife was waiting for.

Eldar looked at Neva. His wife looked at Eldar with a gaze that always set the heart of Eldar. "I invited my mom, mas. Sorry for not telling you. I don't have any more parents while you're still around. Why aren't you invited to our happy day?"

"But Ev, you should have discussed it with me first." Eldar looked a little annoyed.

"Grandmas.....!" call Ekel while running towards Elif who entered the tent where the event was held. The company officials immediately stood up and saluted Elif.

"Imagine if my mom doesn't show up, what will people say about us? Should our secret be known to many?"

Eldar just silently listened to his wife. He just kept quiet to see how unfortunately Ekel was to his grandmother.
