Lana is busy working in Syahbandar's office, feeling that her life has returned to normal. He is happy with his job and feels he has forgotten his past with Rayhan.

Rayhan works as a ship listing officer in Surabaya Port. Every day, he had to monitor and record the data of ships entering the port. Its duties include recording the name of the ship, the type of ship, the date of arrival, import duties, and other relevant information.

He has two types of daily notes and monthly notes. Daily records record information about each incoming ship within a given day. While the monthly record contains a summary of data from all incoming ships in a full month.

Because his job requires mobility, Rayhan has to work with a non-permanent place. He had to move from one port to another to record the ship's data. During the 6-month rolling period, he will probably move to several ports in the Surabaya area.

One of the ports that is often the place of work is Tanjung Perak Port, because it is the main port in Surabaya.

Here, he will be at the recording post that has been provided by the port. The post is usually located near the entry area of the ship, so Rayhan can easily record incoming ship data.

During this task, Rayhan earned a decent salary as a port employee. The salary he received was around 6 million rupiah per month. Although the work is quite draining and often moved, Rayhan is proud of his work because it can contribute to the smooth operation of ports and help manage incoming ship data.

Rayhan took the time today for his socialization. In this socialization, Rayhan must retrieve and store everyone's number including Lana's number.

Only after that Lana hurriedly returned to her own room on the grounds that she was busy.

Rayhan smiled with the others but from the end of his eyes he also looked at the direction where Lana was going.

It wasn't long before Lana was sitting in her study. His face was full of anxiety. The information about Rayhan's work made him even more nervous and confused. He knew that their interconnected positions in different fields would make them meet frequently, even if only by phone. Lana is engaged in finance, while Rayhan must record the data of ships entering and exiting at the port.

Lana nodded in understanding, even though her heart felt heavy.

"So, I want to promise you," continued Rayhan firmly, "I will keep trying to stay away from you. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable or overwhelmed by my presence."

Although Lana still felt confused by her feelings for Rayhan, she was relieved to hear Rayhan's promise. He knew that they both had to focus on work and not bring personal problems into it.

"Thank you, Rayhan," said Lana softly, "I also hope we can remain professional at work."

Rayhan nodded, "Rubber, we should focus on our respective tasks. And who knows, maybe this togetherness is only temporary."

Lana breathed a sigh of relief. Although his heart was still confused, at least he knew Rayhan was trying to keep his distance. He hopes it will help them both to stay focused on work and live their lives in peace.
