Kevin sat in a breakfast stall filled with the aroma of coffee and delicious food. He stared out of the window, watching the people passing by in front of the campus. His eyes were sharply searching for Lana's whereabouts, and finally, he saw a familiar figure from a distance.

Lana exits the campus door with Mia. His face looked different from before, he laughed and joked with his friend cheerfully. Lana looked more cheerful and happy than before, not looking overwhelmed by anything.

Kevin felt mixed when he saw Lana so happy in her absence. His sense of regret was mounting, as he felt rejected and ignored. However, she tries to control her emotions and decides to wait for Lana here.

While staring at Lana from a distance, Kevin tried to hide his hurt feelings. Her heart churned from feeling ignored and angry at Lana. She pondered about how she could take revenge for Lana's rejection. His mind swirled around looking for ways to make him feel as sick as possible.

However, when I saw Lana laughing and happy with Mia, there was also a sense of loss in Kevin's heart. She could not deny that she missed their togetherness even though their relationship had ended.

Lana walked with light steps, displaying her natural beauty. His black hair was flowing long, left to stray freely dancing in the wind. His brown eyes sparkled with excitement and cheerfulness, radiating warmth to anyone who met him.

Lana's clothes depict her cheerful personality and casual style as a student. He wore jeans that fit snugly on his body, following the contours of his well-proportioned body. On it, Lana wears a brightly colored T-shirt that conveys her youthful and energetic spirit.

Her gentle and glowing face plus her distinctive smile made her look so alluring. Lana has smooth and radiant skin, giving the impression of natural beauty that is not too contrived.

Her warm and friendly personality made her well-liked by many people around her. Kevin was once fascinated by the beauty and natural charm of Lana who always made him want to be near her.

But Kevin misses his body more than his figure.

Kevin sees Lana coming out of the campus and with steady steps approaches her. Lana felt tense, feeling the presence of Mia who was beside her, who curiously noticed the situation.

"Lana, can we talk for a second? I want to talk about something important."

Lana felt a little panicked, as she did not want to discuss her personal issues with Kevin in front of Mia. He tried to find a way to resist, but Kevin resolutely continued.

"It's about our past, Lana. I want to finish some important things".

Lana felt sandwiched between Kevin asking to speak and Mia curiously observing them. In these circumstances, Lana felt embarrassed and wanted to solve this problem immediately.

Lana inevitably agreed, so in a low voice, she said ."Okay, Kevin. We can talk for a minute."

Lana turned her gaze towards Mia, trying to find some understanding in her eyes. After that, he quickly apologized to Mia.

"Sorry, Mia. There's important business to be done with Kevin. I'll be right back, okay?"

Mia though a little confused, according to her eyesight this man in front must be her boyfriend Lana but why Lana is a little reluctant to talk to him.

Mia leaves Lana and Kevin feeling confused, choosing to keep her distance from them. Lana follows Kevin's steps with a pounding heart and immediately climbs onto Kevin's motorcycle parked in front of the stall. They drove a motorcycle towards the hotel not too far from the campus.

They arrive at a cheap hotel located on the side of the road. The hotel looks simple with a two-storey building, faded walls, and several chipped hotel logos. The neon lights in front of the hotel lit up dimly, giving the place a slightly gloomy feel.

As Lana and Kevin enter the hotel lobby, they are greeted by a simple layout. In the middle of the room was a reception desk with the officer looking tired. Around the lobby, there are some chairs that have been somewhat damaged and filled with stains.

They went to the stairs and went upstairs. Lana followed him with hesitant steps, feeling tense with the increasingly uncomfortable situation. Kevin opened the door to the room with the number 207, revealing a hotel room that was simple and minimal furniture.

The room looks small with a single-size bed that has been rather shabby. Beside the bed, there is a small table with a rather fuzzy mirror and some poorly maintained side tables. Across the bed, there was a small, outdated television.

The entire atmosphere of the hotel feels dim and a little gloomy, reflecting the situation that is indeed simple and cheap. Lana felt a jumble of uneasiness and regret as she stepped inside the room, realizing that she had entered an uncomfortable territory.

Lana entered the room carefully and saw a woman sitting in front of the window. The woman had long hair that was unraveling, looking beautiful with a gentle looking face. His clear brown eyes looked slightly smelly, giving off a melancholic impression to his appearance.

The woman was wearing a simple but still elegant outfit with a pastel-colored dress that faded the brightness of her color. His hands supported his chin gently, as if he were in a deep daydream.

As Lana looked at it, the woman turned to her with eyes full of vulnerability. His thin lips smiled faintly, creating an alluring charm but also showing uncertainty.

Lana felt a subtlety and gentleness in the woman's attitude, as if she was carrying a great burden yet still trying to keep a calm and restrained attitude.

The woman looked at Lana with eyes full of guilt. His gaze reflected the chaos in his heart, as if there was an unstoppable inner war within him. Her gentle and graceful countenance now seemed to be burdened with the great burden she had to carry.

Her unravelling long hair and faint smile became a contrast to the anxious feeling emanating from her eyes. He tried to hide his uneasiness, but his gentle, wrinkly eyes on his forehead gave hints of pent-up feelings.

Looking at the woman's gaze, Lana could feel the conflict going on within her. She knew that she was also struggling with the difficult choices she had to make. Lana feels sympathy and empathy for the woman, as she also understands that a child needs a father and the woman may be trying to give her best for the child she is about to be born with.

The woman's gaze seemed to be begging for understanding and forgiveness. Lana can feel the struggle that the woman is going through and realize that their lives are now intertwined and adrift.

The questions and doubts in Lana's heart grew, as if she had to choose between her personal feelings and greater social responsibility.

What Lana's question now is why Kevin brought her and his future wife together.
