Refusing to meet

Lana comes out of the cafe with a heavy heart, hoping to calm her mind after leaving Mia and Rayhan. However, shortly after exiting, his phone vibrated with a message coming in from Kevin. His heart thumped as he looked at Kevin's name on his phone screen.

He opened the message hesitantly, hoping that the message would not interfere too much with his thoughts. However, what was on the screen made it even more uncomfortable. Lana was uncomfortable with the words written by Kevin. In addition to urgently, Kevin also mentioned the bad things they had done together in the past. Pondering for a moment, Lana chose not to answer the message. He did not want to get entangled in a past drama that would only hurt his heart more deeply.

Lana put on a helmet with a simple and elegant design, protecting her head while driving. He wears a lightweight leather jacket with matching colors to his motorcycle, giving a fashionable impression and also protecting his body from the wind and weather.

Lana's trip back to her boarding house went well. He crossed crowded streets and turned into small alleys leading to his boarding house. Lana's boarding house is located in a residential complex suitable for students with lower middle class. The boarding house was a simple residential house with several separate rooms. The small garden in front of the house gives the impression of fresh and comfortable.

Lana took off her helmet and jacket, neatly placed it in the space provided. He was relieved to arrive at his boarding house, in a place where he could feel like himself. Although the boarding house is simple, Lana feels comfortable and happy in it.

He knew that here, he could find calm and comfort after going through various struggles and challenges in his life.

Lana sits alone in her room at the boarding house, enjoying her solitude after a grueling journey. He felt the peace and quiet in that simple yet comfortable room. However, suddenly, his phone vibrates and displays an incoming call from Kevin.

Lana sees Kevin's name on her phone screen, but she chooses not to answer the call. He feels uneasy about Kevin's presence in his life at this time, especially after receiving a WhatsApp message containing degrading words.

Finally, Lana decided to lift the call, albeit with a heavy heart. He sighed deeply, pressed the "lift call" button and carried his phone to his ear.

"Yes, what's wrong?" lana said in a slightly depressed voice.

However, as soon as Kevin started speaking, his first words immediately denigrated Lana. He said in a cynical and dismissive tone, "Huh, you finally picked up too. I thought you had forgotten my orders. Turns out you're still living in your own dream world."

Lana felt deep disappointment and resentment in her heart. He tried to remain calm despite this difficult situation. In his mind, he was trying not to let Kevin's words destroy him.

"Listen, Kevin," Lana said firmly. "I've been trying to give you a chance to talk, but it's no use if you keep treating me this way. I won't let you demean me anymore."

Lana closed the call firmly, placing her phone on the table. He felt relieved that he ended up putting limits on that detrimental relationship. Though still sore, Lana promises herself not to let Kevin's bad words destroy her again.

In the quiet silence of her room, Lana pondered for a moment.
