phone call from Kevin

Lana was sitting alone in the corner of the campus event, her face still looking sad from the memories she had just experienced. He tried to smile even though his heart was broken. Suddenly, several students walked up to him. They came with big smiles and seemed interested in Lana's beauty.

"Hi, sorry to interrupt. My name is Rizky. You seem to be new here, huh?"

Lana nodded weakly but smiled beautifully."Yeah, I just moved here. My name is Lana"

" Hello, Lana. My name is Fandi. You look so pretty, where are you from?" said this man by the name of Fandi, he looked like a confident person .

Lana laughed a little with a small smile."Thank you, I am from another city. Are you all students here?"

"Yes, we are also students here. But, we're more interested in your beauty, Lana. Hehe"

" Thank you for your compliment, but I'm not in a good mood right now" Lana said honestly.

Looking at the way the man in front of him clearly had a somewhat similar nature to Kevin. Lana already wants me with Kevin and it's impossible to add new problems with the other Kevin.

" Maybe we can make your mood better, Lana. How about we go for a walk together on this show?"

Sorry, I have to refuse. I really need some alone time right now"Lana refused honestly.

"Come on, don't be so cold. We can please you, Lana"

But Lana didn't want to respond to men like them yet so she still displayed a polite smile."Thanks, but I want to be alone now. Maybe next time"

An answer like this was not expected by this student in front of him but they could still accept it.

"All right, then. But if you need a friend, don't hesitate to contact us, yes, Lana"

"Thank you, I'll call you if I need a friend. Now, I'm sorry, I need some alone time" Lana said.

The students finally understood and left Lana alone in the corner of the campus event. Lana looked around again, seeing Mia and Raihan who still looked friendly walking together. Her heart grew sadder, but she tried hard and comforted herself. Over time, even a small smile was engraved on his face.

After the students left, Lana felt as if a huge burden had been lifted off her shoulders. He was relieved that he could start a new life in this city, away from Kevin and the bad memories. In his mind, there was new hope and enthusiasm to reach his goals.

Lana walks slowly around the campus event, feeling the cool night breeze rubbing her cheeks. He saw many other students who were so passionate, pursuing their dreams and ideals. Lana's eyes swept towards the stage, looking at a dancer who was dancing beautifully and full of expression. Then, there was a man who spoke in public with confidence about his role in a humanitarian project. Everything inspired Lana.

With steady and steady steps, Lana headed to the campus event notice board that was plastered large on the wall. He searches for information about different clubs and organizations on campus that match his interests and passions. Without hesitation, he recorded the contact numbers of several clubs that caught his attention.

Lana is determined to really take advantage of this opportunity to learn, develop, and pursue her new dreams. He wants to be someone better, stronger, and more meaningful to himself and others. And in this city, he felt that all of that could possibly come true.

With a step full of confidence, Lana walked away from the campus event area. He looked at the beautiful night sky, and his smile grew even wider. This is the beginning of her new journey, and she is ready to face it with passion and hope.

Lana who was walking with vigor, suddenly felt a tremor in her skirt pocket. He pulled out his phone, a smartphone that was still relatively new. The color of the case is a cheerful light blue, depicting the new spirit and hope that exist in Lana.

However, Lana's smile slowly faded when she saw the name "Kevin" plastered on the phone screen. Lana's heart was beating faster, feeling anxious and a little depressed. Even so, he took a deep breath and carefully pressed the button to receive the call.

"Hello, Kevin," Lana said in a voice trying to stay calm, even though her nervousness was obvious.

Kevin across there, sounding cheerful and longing. "Hi, honey. I miss you. When can you come back?" asked Kevin in a soft voice.

After Lana moved university, she also moved city.So Kevin and Lana rarely get to meet.Sementra was not sure what happened but the engagement plan was tough right by Kevin's side.

Sometimes Lana thinks this is just Kevin's style of buying time.

When she heard Kevin's voice, Lana immediately felt a sense of confusion and jumble in her. There is a small part of her heart that still loves Kevin, but she is also aware that their relationship is not healthy. Lana gazed into the distance, trying to find the right words.

"Kevin, I think we've talked about this before. I need time for myself, to finish my college Kevin I hope you can understand," Lana replied carefully.

However, the phone call is interrupted suddenly, leaving Lana in silence. His face turned lethargic, as if his world had suddenly collapsed. Lana stared at her now-dead phone, like a symbol of the despair that engulfed her.
