When the night finished Alika was still awake and she was still thinking about the incident last afternoon. He worries that Fani will tell his mother about the incident, and then Fani's mother will hurt Johan or Dean. For Alika, she is used to being hurt by Fani and her mother, but obviously she will not be able to accept if they hurt Johan or Dean.
Alika who was too worried finally could not sleep. He decides to go to the kitchen to make coffee but when he comes out of his room Alika sees the door of Johan's room open, Alika then ventures to enter and she sees Johan who is asleep.
Slowly Alika approached Johan and sat down beside him. When Alika checks the wound on Johan Alika's hand feels something is wrong with her husband, then she starts checking Johan's body temperature and sure enough that night Johan has a fever.
Alika rushes to the kitchen and takes cold water to compress Johan. Alika compressing Johan, trying to bring down her fever overnight Alika wakes up to take care of her husband at dawn when Johan sees Alika sleeping beside him with a bowl of cold water on her desk and a handkerchief in her soft hands.
At once Johan immediately realized that it was Alika who took care of him all night and he woke up all night just for him. Johan lifted Alika's body and laid her on the bed and then covered her, Johan then immediately prepared to go to work.
As Johan heads to the kitchen he finds Dean preparing breakfast for everyone.
"Dean?" Said the confused Johan.
"Dad..today I prepared breakfast because mom seems to be tired from looking after dad all night" said Dean as he continued his work.
Alika who woke up from her sleep then smiled. He realized what had just happened and could already guess if it must have been Johan who had moved himself onto the bed. Alika heard the voice of Johan and Dean were arguing about the breakfast menu in the kitchen, then Alika went down and saw the funny behavior of the two from the stairs.
Alika sat in the staircase and saw her husband and son arguing over peanut butter. Alika smiled but the smile then disappeared as Alika recalled her fear of what her stepmother would do to her family.
"Mother?" Said Dean softly, Johan immediately saw Alika who was swept away in her daydream.
"It looks like your mother is thinking about something" Johan told Dean.
"Mother today looks different, what are you thinking?" Dean asked Alika.
"Mother is okay...Have you finished breakfast?" Sahut Alika asked back, Johan then also sat near Alika and clasped his wife's hand.
"What's bothering you?" Ask Johan gently.
"No...'' Sahut Alika while smiling, Alika's smile does not show any cheerfulness or calmness but instead shows concern.
"Are you still thinking about yesterday afternoon?" Ask Johan attentively.
"Is it okay if you take that action? I don't care if they hate me or hurt me, but if they hurt you what should I do?" Said Alika pour out the worries she kept in her heart.
"Mother don't worry if they dare to act I'll teach them a lesson" Sahut Dean tried to calm Alika down.
"You don't know how subtle they are. They won't hesitate to hurt anyone they see as a hindrance" Alika said with all her anxiety.
"That woman's mom insulted me because I didn't go to college, right? Then I'll be signing up for college soon anyway I'm the successor to my father's company so I have to learn to be a good leader instead" Sahut Dean who tried to comfort Alika and eliminate her anxiety.
"You don't worry. I will not let anyone disturb our family, trust me" said Johan who helped calm his wife.
Hearing the words of her husband and son Alika felt a little calmer. Alika then hugged the two dear men and shed tears that she had endured since the night Johan was sick.
