First Dinner

After all the events were over the new couple went home. Johan had prepared a room for Alika who was located right in front of his room, while next to Johan's room was Dean's room only son Johan from his first marriage which is now also Alika's son.

Alika knows full well that Dean doesn't like her very much. From the wedding day until they returned home Alika and Dean had never talked to each other, but they had never spoken to each other, Dean does not show that he hates Alika but he always shows that he is disappointed in his father.

Alika can understand that, because accepting stepmothers in the middle of their lives is not easy. Alika knows very well what it's like to have a cruel stepmother and often physically torturing and even itchy, that's why Alika is determined to be a good mother to Dean even though she knows that it won't be easy but she will keep trying.

Alika starts to prepare dinner and arranges the table without the help of the housekeeper. Alika deftly prepared various types of food then cut the fruits very neatly and arranged everything on the table beautifully.

Alika goes back up to the second floor to call Johan and Dean for dinner together.

"Come in"

"My master has prepared dinner, let's eat together" Alika said very gently.

"I'm going down after calling Dean" Sahut Johan said as he placed the book he was holding.

"No need sir, I call him" Sahut Alika as she passed away and closed the door very slowly.

Alika then knocked on Dean's door. But there was no answer from inside her room, Alika tried to open the door of her room and sure enough it was unlocked.

With a hesitant heart Alika walked into Dean's room. While examining the room, Alika does not find Dean in her room, and then Alika opens the door to Dean's study, and she finds Dean asleep hugging a picture of her mother.

Alika feels guilty to Dean because indirectly she has taken the position of Dean's mother in the house. Alika also took a blanket for Dean and then covered her body, after which Alika went down to get food for Dean and put it on the table right in front of Dean.

After that Alika went back down and served food to Johan.

"Did Dean fall asleep at the study desk again?" Ask Johan just to make sure.

"Looks like he's tired, I put food on his desk" Sahut Alika as she poured vegetables on the bowl for Johan.

Hearing the reply from Alika Johan just smiled gently and started eating her food. When Johan tasted the food he remembered the food made by Alm. His wife used to, because the food tasted very similar to the cooking of Lesa his birth mother Dean who had died a long time ago.

soon Johan stopped chewing the food and began to notice Alika who was serving food to herself.

"Are you cooking all this?" Ask Johan curiously.

"Really sir... Is there something wrong with that?" Alika asked back.

"No. It's just that the taste of this food is very similar to the food made by his late mother Dean" Sahut Johan who then returned to enjoy the food.

Alika then ventured to ask something rather difficult to discuss to Johan.
