When morning arrived Alika still remained by Dean's side. Meanwhile Johan was forced to go to the office because there was a sudden affair, Johan did not leave his son and wife just like that, Johan had set up a strict guard to keep his son and wife in hospital. There are 25 guards set up by Johan to guard Alika and Dean.

Meanwhile Alika stayed awake all night and when the sun began to shine bright Alika also wiped Dean's body with warm water. Alika was always by Dean's side without ever leaving him even for a moment, Alika had not even eaten anything since yesterday even drinking a mouthful of water she did not do.

"Mother.I don't like you crying" Dean said softly.

"Don't say much, I'll call the doctor" said Alika who then moved from her seat and ordered one of Johan's hired men to call the doctor.

When the doctor arrives and examines Dean, Alika can only hope that everything is okay. Dean looked at Alika with a different look, but Alika did not feel anything from Dean's eyes because her heart was now shrouded in anxiety about the condition of her stepson.

"Doctor how's it going?" Ask Alika to the doctor.

"He's fine there's nothing to worry about, on the schedule of my next visit I will give a painkiller injection for the last time and tomorrow he can sit and also learn to walk, and if after that everything remains fine then on the fifth day he can already go home" Sahut Doctor explained in great detail.

Hearing that Alika felt very happy even she repeatedly thanked the doctor before the doctor finally said goodbye to leave. After the doctor left the room Alika who felt very happy repeatedly thanked the almighty god.

Dean could only smile when he saw Alika who was so grateful for her recovery. Before this, no one cared so much for him, not even his own father.

"Are you hungry?" Alika asked Dean attentively.

"Mom's fine, don't think about mom... Mom's just a little tired, how do you feel now hm?" Alika asked while tidying Dean's hair a little messy.

"It's been so much better" Dean said with a gentle smile.

"Mothers. Did you cry as long as I was unconscious? And did you not eat either?" Dean asked Alika as she sensed something strange with a touch of Alika's hand.

"How can I eat when you even endure such pain? And how can I not cry when I see you moaning in pain and fever all night? Do you know what? I felt like I wanted to take a knife and hurt myself so I could feel what you were feeling.

But your father got in my way and he always assured me that you'd be okay that's what he always told me" Alika said as she shed tears in Dean's face.

"I'm sorry, mother must have suffered so much when she saw me sick" said Dean who then clasped Alika's hand.

"I'm sorry too because I already love you my father's own wife" Dean said in his heart.

"Do you know what I'm most afraid of? I'm so afraid that when I fall asleep and when I open my eyes you're away from me... If that happens what should we do? We have to how?" sahut Alika who then back sobbing crying.

"Mother don't be sad anymore, now I'm fine.I'll get well soon and I'll always protect you Dean said as he looked into Alika's eyes.

"From today on let your mother protect you, you and your father protect you. Promise not to sacrifice yourself like this again for you"

"How could I do that? I love you Alika, even though I know this is wrong but I would be willing if I had to keep this love forever in my heart even though for that I will have to face my own father" Said Dean in a heart that then hugged Alika very tightly.
