The next day Dean's condition began to improve. She sits on her bed and reads a book that Johan bought when she was seventeen, while Alika is not in the hospital.
Alika is going shopping for their needs during the hospital while Johan accompanies Alika. Dean already knew it because Alika and Johan had time to say goodbye to him, in his solitude Dean often diverted from his concentration while reading.
He wondered in his heart was what he was doing right or wrong?. Is this way he can get closer to Alika? Or hurt Alika more? She realizes that there is sincerity in a mother's love whenever Alika is near her.
"Mother..quick back I don't like being alone" wrote Dean in a short order that he sent to Alika.
Alika who was busy shopping did not know if there was a message from Dean on her phone. And kept busy picking up the things he was going to buy, Johan only paid attention to Alika and helped bring her belaja without helping her choose because she knew the tastes of women and men were clearly very different what else in terms of choosing vegetables and fruit.
"Do you like this mango or this one?" Alika asked Johan to give her a choice.
"Take everything you want, I'll buy everything for you so don't hesitate and ask me..." Johan said because he no longer knew what to say.
"I'm done, take this to the cashier and we'll be back to the hospital immediately" Sahut Alika as she gave her basket to Johan.
"Alright big lady. I'm under your control now" Sahut Johan teased Alika. Alika also smiled broadly at Johan's words.
After finishing shopping Alika and Johan immediately headed to the hospital. When Alika's hospital elevator opens a message from Dean and tells Johan immediately, as soon as the elevator opens they rush to Dean's room.
And they found Dean sitting on the floor staring out his bedroom window. With the infusion hose and oxygen that had been forcefully removed by her, Alika dropped her toddler and ran towards Dean.
"Dean what are you doing? It's dangerous you know that?" Said Alika who sat in front of Dean and held Dean's face with both hands.
"Dean do not be like this. Mother is very afraid if something bad happens to you" said Alika worried.
"Dad... Mother... have you forgotten me?" Said Dean who looked at Johan blankly.
"Doctor's coming soon you calm down" said Johan, looking panicked and holding Dean's head. But Dean removed Johan's hand from his head with his weak ring hand.
"Dean why?" Ask Johan to be confused.
"i've always loved my father even though I never thought I existed, haven't you considered me a sin that has made my mother die?" Dean said in a soft voice signifying how weak he was at the moment.
"Dad..I beg you, this is the first and last time I beg you, for the rest of my life I want to have memories with someone who is my mother" Dean said, closing his eyes to the pain.
"Dean.. I do not intend to keep you away from your mother, you have the right to always be with her I promise not to hinder your closeness as mother and child, you must be able to heal" Johan said as he clasped Dean's hand.
"Dean don't talk much first, you have to gather energy in order to recover" Alika said as she embraced Dean's shoulder.
Alika realizes that Dean's condition is really not good. Her body was cold, and she was sweating from enduring the pain of "mother... can I still be your son?" Said Dean asking who then fell into Alika's arms and lost his consciousness.
"You are my son, and you will always be my son..." Sahut Alika while tightly clutching Dean's cold body.
Johan can only be silent to see all that because he realized his mistakes in the past where he initially could not accept the reality of Dean's presence and the departure of Dean's late mother, Lesa.
