"Isn't love so complicated? We love each other but can't have each other" Alika said, turning her eyes away.
"That's because our love is just like the wind, which can be felt but cannot be grasped" Dean said with a smile.
"Sometimes life is so unfair, why do I have to be in a spot where I myself can't choose between love or faithfulness" said Alika, who sat on her back to Dean.
"Have you not chosen faithfully" said Dean briefly.
"Yes, I prefer to be loyal but I don't know if my choice is right or wrong because honestly I'm not happy with my choice"
"You can change your choice"
"No Dean. I won't change my choice because I'd rather be hurt than unfaithful"
"Marriage is indeed very extraordinary, can unite two souls but separate two loves" said Dean cynical.
"Love does not have to have each other but must understand each other" Sahut Alika as he moved from his seat.
Alika walked up to pick up some apples and a knife and put it on her desk.
"Maybe it's a punishment for everything I've done" Dean said with a deep sigh.
"Maybe this is not only a punishment for you but also a test for my loyalty" Alika said, laying down her fruit knife and then checking Dean's body temperature.
"I've done a lot of wrong things over the years, I've killed a lot of people and for that I'm now being punished. I've lost a friend who's also my brother, I've lost my father's trust, and I have to accept the fact that the woman I love is my stepmother"
"If you feel yourself being punished then believe me all this punishment is still not over, because I believe there are still many punishments that you must accept" Sahut Alika responded.
"Whatever the reason for killing someone is not the right thing" Alika said in a soft voice.
"I didn't kill all of Dad's rivals, I just killed those who attacked him first" Dean said with some regret.
"Dean... I have no right to bring up your past or blame you for it, but I deeply regret why did you involve Rio and the others? Now one by one they disappear from your life and only Rio is left for you. I hope you don't repeat the same mistakes and can keep Rio as good as possible" Sahut Alika.
"If I can choose I not only want to be able to protect her but I also want to repeat my time and improve my past"
"The past cannot be changed but the future can be beautified" Sahut Alika smiled.
"I want that wonderful future with you" Dean said without thinking.
"Don't ever expect what you can't milki" Alika said gently.
"For so long I have committed a crime, it is time now that I accept my punishment and you are my punishment" Dean said, looking into Alika's eyes.
"Take that as your worst punishment don't take me as your love, never" said Alika with teary eyes.
Then the sound of thunder boomed into a sign of the rain. Alika opened a little window curtain and saw the swift rain that fell soaking the ground.
"The rain is very heavy" said Alika Iirih.
Instantly Dean removed the infusion hose he was holding forcefully. "Now I understand what it's like to lose the one I love" Dean said, standing next to Alika.
"Dean life is not just about love and power. You kill to keep your father's power and fight for your love, but do you realize that when you take one life, there are many people you make suffer" Alika with tears.
