Girl In The Winter's

Girl In The Winter's
The Extra Part "Vacation"

Today Ayumi is off from work, as usual early in the morning Kevin has come to his sister's house to take Ayumi and Minami for a walk. A wide smile adorned his face imagining the cute face of his nephew. But upon arrival at the door of the house his smile disappeared. His eyes read the note stuck on the door, then laughed while shaking his head.

”*Hyungnim, I followed your advice to get up early and go on vacation with my wife and daughter. Don't wait for us because we're not going home today. I will pray you may get married soon so that you can vacation with your own family.”

Your sister-in-law, dear.

A big smile never separated from the handsome face Erik imagined the reaction of Kevin when he found out that he lost quickly to him. He looked at Minami who was playing beach sand using a bucket and a toy skup. Yesterday after Ayumi returned from the Hospital because she did not want to waste the opportunity to spend the holidays with her wife and daughter, she immediately took the two to the airport and flew to Jeju island.

“Very beautiful isn't it?” Erik walked up to Ayumi who was sitting on the sand looking at the ocean while watching his little daughter playing not far from him.

“Iya,” Ayumi replied with a smile, “I've always loved scenes like this.”

“I know.” Erik was sitting next to Ayumi, “I remember the first time I knew each other was when you were staring at the sunrise over the Pacific. The day you just learned of your mother's death.”

Ayumi smiled as she nodded remembering that day, “I thought that day you didn't see me because you were already engrossed with your camera.”

“I was too fascinated by your beauty back then.”

Ayumi chuckled at Erik's praise while shaking her head.

“Looks to me, you even ignored me back then, but all of a sudden you were sitting next to me and we started getting acquainted.”

“At that time I was confused how to approach you, so I pretended to take a photo while thinking what I should say first.”

“And that photo is my photo.”

Erik laughs to justify his wife, “Iya, because your beauty has even defeated the beauty of sunrise.”

Ayumi laughed again at the words of her husband.

“You know? You've changed so much.”

“I? Changed?” erik asked while raising his eyebrows.

“Yes, you are very changed, now very romantic and very good at seducing, whereas in the past,” Ayumi shook her head with concern, “You are like an ice sculpture.”

Erik smiled at Ayumi's words, “That's all because of you.”

“Because of me?”

“I didn't do anything, you changed yourself for the better, because only you can do that, and you're basically a good man that's why I've faithfully loved and waited for you all this time.”

They looked at each other with love and smiles never faded from the faces of the two.

“Thank you for accepting me to be your husband, thank you for always waiting for me even when I turned away from you, thank you for giving me such great love, thank you for being such an amazing wife, and thank you for giving me such a beautiful and smart daughter.”

Ayumi smiled as she nodded then looked at her daughter who still looked engrossed in sand and her beach toy. The little girl looked adorable wearing only her shorts and a sweatshirt wrapped around her plump body.

“Kevin Oppa says he is exactly like me,” said Ayumi without taking her eyes off Minami who is now trying to fill her bucket with sand.

Erik looked at his daughter and laughed when he saw Minami had trouble carrying her full bucket, making her round face frown at the extra exertion.

“This time I agree with him, he is you little version, very adorable. Ahhh! I have to be prepared it looks like he will make a lot of men heartbroken.”

Erik smiled still looking at his puri who was now walking with difficulty, both hands lifted the bucket, his face looked serious until finally he managed to reach his destination where there was a pile of sand that he had taken before. His little hand was now patting the pile of sand mountains.

“You should learn from Soo Hyuk about it.” Ayumi smiled as she looked back at the ocean.

“You're right.” Erik nodded seriously, “Today he told me that he felt rivaled by a 12-year-old.”

Ayumi laughs with round eyes, “She overdone.”

“No, because I would also feel the same way if Minami said that her friend is more handsome than me.”

Ayumi laughs again while looking at her husband, “Alice says that Soo Hyuk lost handsome to his friend?”

“Yes, Soo Hyuk says even the boy still has toothless tooth in front, but Alice says it's cute.”

Ayumi laughs again at how Soo Hyuk's face hears Alice praising her male friend.

“I now know how the Fathers in this world feel when they see their daughter bringing her male friend home, so it's only natural that they bring a broom to expel her.”

“So you're going to expel every man who approaches Minami?”

“Of course!” exclaim Erik seriously, “Until I find a man who loves and loves him more than me.”

Ayumi smiles hearing that, Erik may have turned into a warm husband for Ayumi, and a loving father for Minami. But it looks like he will be back wearing his ice mask when faced with the men who approach his daughter later.
