Ayumi took a deep breath considering what her guidance doctor had said before in front of people, and the result was that now people were more curious about the relationship with the man than Kevin.

"Listen to me, everyone knows we're dating."

"But we're not dating."

"Not yet, not not."

"Not going to."

"You sure?"

"Yes." Yeah."

Dr. Lee was silent for a moment when he heard Ayumi's stern words, they were standing in the hallway of the deserted Hospital, "We'll see later," he said with a slanted smile. Either the man always followed Ayumi or how but he was always there when people started to gossip back to him, all he did was embrace Ayumi's shoulders while staring at those people until they were bowed with deathly pale faces.

As of now Ayumi was sitting alone in the Hospital cafeteria and trying to enter her lunch even though lazily, she said, his appetite evaporated just like that because of the whispers and curious gazes of the people around him, sweet perched earphones can only dispel discordant voices but not with those gazes. From the corner of his eye he could see some of his fellow doctors walking towards him with trays in their hands, and as he expected they were sitting at the same table as him.

For starters they smile kindly at him, and in the name of courtesy Ayumi opens her earphones, and they begin to question her about the state of the patient and her activities of the day.

‘Ok, soon,’ said Ayumi inwardly after seeing them elbow each other and giving a sign to ask her.

"Hmmm. Ayumi's..."

‘This is it.’ Ayumi takes a slow breath before staring at Eun Soo, a round-faced woman with hair in a short bob who reminds Ayumi of her younger sister Jaiko Gian the cartoon character in Doraemon, it was a movie he watched every Sunday when he was a kid.

"Is the rumor true?" He asked carefully, "About your relationship with Kevin, that handsome singer?"

Ayumi is not so surprised to hear the question from her colleague, because sooner or later there will finally be someone who dares to ask her directly, and fortunately that person is Eun Soo, who is the one who is the only one who has ever asked for it, his resident partner who he likes.

"No, that's not true" Ayumi replied trying to sound relaxed.

"Aaahhh.." The unison words of everyone at the table made Ayumi look at them all with a forced smile.

"So what's your relationship with him?" This time Woo Young who asked, the man with a cute face and tends to be beautiful rather than handsome asked with round eyes, asking, and made the other three colleagues lean toward Ayumi who could only take a deep breath for some time.

Actually he liked the four resident colleagues, however they were his comrades in arms, they stayed together, scolded together and fought each other foam mattresses in the rest area, although all this time he always tried to keep his distance from everything but they never considered it one eye, he said, they assume that Ayumi is the picture of the perfect woman with the beauty and intelligence she has and do not forget that she is the daughter of the President of the Hospital where they work today.

"We're just friends" Ayumi replied briefly.

"Aaahhh." They spoke in unison.

From across the table they could hear the voice of the woman who sneered at him when she heard Ayumi's reply earlier, and insinuated it as Gumiho.

"Don't listen, she just envies you" said Eun Soo, who backed up a nod of all, and the simple reaction left Ayumi's heart slightly overwhelmed with warmth.

"He was angry because Dr. Lee saved you, you know for yourself how Dr. Mi Rae was very hurt when the man appeared to her," whispered Ga In, a beautiful girl with long brown hair and always looking fashionable.

"Of course we're dating!"

The heavy voice belonged to a man who was standing not far from there, his hands folded over his chest, his sharp eyes looked at those who looked surprised to see the man in blue operation clothes who was now walking towards them very casually. Ayumi furrowed her brows looking at Dr. Lee, who was now smiling on his side, how could he not be aware of the presence of the surgeon specialist? Was he really a Vampire who could appear all of a sudden?

"Aahh.. Here you are apparently, I look for you everywhere, Chagia, (*honey)" he said casually which made Ayumi choke on her drink in contrast to her colleagues who looked smiling enviously looking at the two of them, she said, and it turned out that the arrival and speech of the man had succeeded in attracting the attention of everyone in the canteen. Ayumi could see how the entire room was now staring at her.

Relaxedly Dr. Lee pulled the chair from the next table and sat down next to Ayumi.

"I was very hungry after 2 hours of surgery, but after seeing you I became very full," she casually made Ayumi want to hit her head with a tray in front of her.

Ayumi could see the faces of Eun Soo and Ga In looking at the man with eyes full of adoration, their cheeks flushed red as if what the man said was intended for the two of them. While Ayumi could only roll her eyeballs, it seemed pointless that she denied the man.

"Basic Vampire is stubborn!" Ayumi cried in her heart.

"Aigo Dr's. Lee, you make me jealous" Eun Soo said with a teasing smile.

"Byeah, dr. Song, I'm sorry, but my heart belongs entirely to this beautiful woman" said Dr. Lee relaxed as he looked at Ayumi who was looking at him sharply. From across the table they came back to hear Dr. Mi Rae as Gumiho.

"Aaah it turns out you're a Gumiho? I should have known, where there are humans as beautiful as you, ckk, you are indeed a very adorable Gumiho."

Ayumi turned her eyes to hear the man who was still looking at her casually with a smile, while the four colleagues tried to hold their laughter with difficulty, from the end of her eyes she saw Dr. Mi Rae who frowned and looked very angry.

"Dr. Lee!" The four of them shouted together while forming a heart mark over their heads with both hands, which the doctor replied with a blink of one eye.

"Soo Hyuk, I was looking for you from earlier," the cold voice belonged to a man who made Ayumi's heart beat violently, a voice that she was very familiar with, a voice that she missed so much.

Everyone turned their eyes towards the voice where Erik was standing tall clad in a black jacket and black pants both of his hands were inserted into the pocket of the jacket and his sharp eyes looked at Dr. Lee who was also looking at him was no less sharp, on the other hand Ayumi could see Eun Soo and Ga in who were now gaping with sparkling eyes looking at the man in front of them.

"You looking for me?" Ask Dr. Lee answered Erik's nod.

"Then we'll excuse you." Woo Young elbowed Ga In unwilling to take his eyes off Erik, and after being forcefully pulled by Woo Young and Haneul the two women finally stood up while carrying their respective trays, Ayumi was already standing up and was about to take her tray when her hand was clutched by Dr. Lee's.

"Your food is not finished yet, finish your food!" His orders while looking at Ayumi who was now staring at the four colleagues who were waiting for him.

"I'm full, I'm going back to the ER."

"You don't even touch your food, sit down and move on. Seung Won, do you mind if my girlfriend joins us?"

Erik looked at Ayumi for a moment before saying, "No, of course not."

"You hear that, honey? You can continue your lunch here."

Ayumi was about to protest when she felt a pull on her hand that made her sit back, as well as Erik who was now sitting in front of the two of them. A sudden aura of tension bursting forth onto the surface filled the air around them and could be felt by the four comrades of Ayumi who were quick to retreat while shuddering feeling an increasingly thickening aura of tension.
