"Hot chocolate is best when it's cold like this." Kevin bought Ayumi a hot chocolate at one of the cafes near the stop.
"Gamshahahnida" Ayumi said in Korean, which sounded stiff and strange because of her accent, but it succeeded in making Kevin surprised and smiled proudly.
"Ckk.. After all this time I taught you Korean, that's all you can say" Kevin said with a smile behind a plastic cup containing his American coffee, which he said, they continued walking towards the girl's apartment with a warm glass in each hand at least a little to reduce the cold from the snowfall that had just subsided.
"With time to study only between the sidelines of my spare time is very limited, I think I'm quite good," said Ayumi did not want to lose by proud of herself.
Lately the girl is actively learning Korean, Kevin who became his personal teacher, while free he will watch Korean dramas or reality shows that he has downloaded before, Kevin who became his personal teacher, the list of songs on his iPod also began to contain several Korean songs, most of which were the soundtrack of the drama he watched. Erik is not aware of his lover's activities, he wants to give a surprise to the man who this past week fills his days.
"Angel."
"Hm."
"As for your Mother, rest assured in her heart she will feel regret for leaving you. A Mother is still a Mother who has struggled with life when giving birth to you, there must be a reason."
Ayumi was still speechless listening to Kevin, they walked casually and occasionally enjoyed the warm drink that was in each other's grasp.
"Didn't her husband say he was a good man, and I believe that. He has raised a child who is not his flesh and blood lovingly, she must be a great woman regardless of whether she leaves you. Everyone makes mistakes, Angel, maybe he hopes that by raising other people's children at least there are other people out there who raise you lovingly, even if it can't erase his mistake."
"But..." Ayumi wants to refute all of Kevin's words, but nothing comes out of the girl's mouth, and they are currently standing in front of Ayumi's apartment building.
"I get it, Angel, you feel like this isn't fair, do you?" Ayumi nodded in response, "If indeed your mother did not want you, she must have aborted her womb.but no, she kept you and gave you a chance to see this world."
"But all the same, he dumped me, Kevin!"
"There must be a reason, Angel, believe me," said Kevin gently trying to calm the girl before him who was injured, and he does not want the girl dissolved in grief and hatred that re-emerged after previously he tried to make peace with the reality of his past.
"Angel, you've been so late in disappointment and anger towards your mother. And I understand that, but now it's time for you to be happy, it's time for you to make peace with your past and forgive your mother, it's all happened. I'm sure your mother has received her own punishment" Kevin's last words made Ayumi flinch and look at the man with brown eyes with a look of disbelief.
"Yes, Angel, believe me, not being able to hug and kiss a princess as beautiful as you, which she gave birth to by fighting for life, is the harshest punishment your mother has ever had to endure in her entire life," kevin said gently making Ayumi bow and play snow on the sidewalk with the tip of her shoe.
"Forgive your mother, give your soul a little chance to feel at peace free from disappointment and anger. Doesn't your father and sister love you? Don't forget there's me and John always there for you, and of course, that guy..."
"Erik," said Ayumi, smiling at Kevin who rolled his eyes, he never wanted to mention the name of the man who had been Ayumi's lover for the past week.
"Yes, he's the guy who said he loved you." Kevin rolled back his eyeballs which made Ayumi laugh. That's the advantage of Kevin, he can make Ayumi laugh while giving him advice without patronizing, telling him that what he did was wrong without having to blame, giving the girl the necessary way out when she was pinned down, be a good listener when he needs a place to get all his junk out. That was why Ayumi felt comfortable to tell everything to the 190cm tall man.
"Blessed, Angel. You have a right to it and rest assured you are not alone, many people love you. So, be happy because it is a prayer that your mother always says to you every day in every breath, rest assured that," said Kevin while stroking Ayumi's head affectionately. The girl just silently digested all of Kevin's words and realized that everything he said was true, it was time for him to make peace with all that was shackled and it was time for him to be happy.
Ayumi looked at Kevin when she heard the man in front of her clucking in annoyance, her eyes looking back at the girl's body.
"He thought looking at me with that kind of look would scare me" Kevin said as he looked back at Ayumi who now turned his head to look at the object that had upset Kevin a little.
Ayumi smiled when she saw Erik standing not far from them by putting his hand in his jacket pocket with a sharp look in their eyes. Had the man not been Kevin they would have felt intimidated by the handsome man's cold gaze, just like he always does every day when he has to drive away the men who try to get close or just look at Ayumi.
Erik is a very possessive man, he will not let any man be close to his lover, but that does not apply to Kevin who dared to challenge Erik even deliberately invite the girl out, as it is today. When Ayumi is off college then deliberately after work at the cafe Kevin 'kidnaknya' all day that makes Erik urgency because he himself must carry out his duties as a lecturer.

"Why do you have to go with that brash guy."
"His name is not a brash man, and I went with him because it's my day off."
"Why don't you go with me?"
"Because you have to go teach."
Erik ruffled his hair feeling desperate, he dropped his body on the yellow sofa that was in Ayumi's apartment.
"No need to worry, he also does not like you," said Ayumi relaxed while making warm tea for her lover.
"How could he not like me?" Erik asked while blowing his hot tea.
"The same reason you don't like."
"Because you love you?" Erik's words succeeded in making Ayumi choke, he walked to the kitchen to drink while coughing.
"Once again you're talking a no-no" Ayumi said after she finished a glass of mineral water to ease her throat.
"I don't like all the guys who try to get close to you because I love you, don't you say he doesn't like me for the same reason?"
"You're wrong, Erik, he doesn't love me as a woman but he loves me like a sister, just like I love him like a big brother."
"Are you sure he feels the same way as you do?" Erik looked at Ayumi with his trademark cold expression.
Ayumi was silent for a while before she finally nodded with great certainty.
"Yes, I believe him."
Erik raised his eyebrows hearing Ayumi's reply which sounded so certain.
"I'm a man and I know how a man looks at the woman he loves, and he looks at you with that look."
Ayumi was wide-eyed to hear Erik's words but after a while she laughed realized how irrational the man's words were. Right it? There's no way Kevin loves her.
"That's impossible, Erik, trust me she's not like that" Ayumi said stubbornly, leaving Erik to take a deep breath.
"Can't you please don't go with him again? I don't like seeing you with other men." Erik picked up the television remote and began to switch channels. Ayumi could only raise her eyebrows listening to the words of the man who was now busy watching sports events.
"Erik, don't you trust me?" Ask Ayumi while sitting next to her lover who is still focused on staring at the television.
"Of course I trust you, but I don't trust the boys" Erik said casually, leaning over the side of the sofa.
Ayumi smiled at the man's words, she took a large size minion doll from Erik and hugged him and leaned on the sofa.
"That's all that matters, you just have to trust me. No matter who I go with whom you need to remember is that I will not betray you" Ayumi said as she looked at Erik gently and made the man look back at her with a smile, slowly his hands stretched out to stroke the girl's black hair.
"You promise not to betray me?"
"I promise...How about you, are you going to betray me?"
Erik smiled before finally answering Ayumi's question, "After I've taken the trouble of keeping away all the men who approached you do you think I'm going to do that stupid act?"
Ayumi shrugged her shoulders in response which made Erik smile again and his hand back stroking the girl's hair.
"The few days when you avoided me it was hell for me, and I didn't want to feel it a second time. I won't do anything stupid like that again, I won't leave you alone let alone betray you no matter what" Erik said, his eyes looked at Ayumi with affection that made the girl's cheeks flushed red.
For a while they only looked at each other, Erik began to focus wrongly when he saw Ayumi's lips red, her heart was beating fast, slowly he brought his head closer to Ayumi's head which now looked wide open, his chest grew increasingly rumbling as the distance between them got closer, Erik's sharp eyes stared at his lover's lips which were only a few cent away, he could see his lover's lips opened slightly, he could see his lover's lips opened slightly, without command Erik's eyes began to shut when his lips were only one breath away.
"I need to get ready for the hospital!" Ayumi exclaimed as she walked quickly to her room with a heart that was not careless, leaving Erik who was still silent with his body position leaning towards the direction where Ayumi was.
Erik began to open his eyes while breathing heavily and before him was only the minion doll that Ayumi had thrown, smiling desperately he took the yellow doll and hugged it tightly while pinning his head into it.
"Oh my God, I'm crazy!" Erik whispered with a muffled voice inside the doll.
